My old hedge trimmer decided to pack up working, so I thought I might as well buy a Swift Hedge trimmer which uses the same battery as my Swift rotary lawn mower.This is a cheaper way to get around my problem and as I was impressed with the quality of my mower, I thought it a good idea to go ahead and buy the trimmer. Nice quality as I would expect.

I bought the same mower 4 years ago and loved everything about it. Lent it to my daughter who also thought it was great. She still has it! So with absolutely no hesitation I got a new one and still thrilled with it. I can think of no better endorsement than that. Thank you for making the buying procedure so easy.

Our out of warranty strimmer, which has had hardly any use, has packed up. When I took it to my local garden repair shop, they told me they were once dealers for Swift but the company closed their dealerships down and centralised everything. So now they don't do repairs which in any case would cost me more than a new machine. The sales advisor told me they were in any case an atrocious product. So, if you're thinking of buying one, think twice!

Battery charger swiftly delivered (no pun intended).

I bought a lawnmower 3 years ago that has stopped working, and despite trying to call and email the company for support, I have received absolutely no response. I tried to order a new battery in case that was the problem, but accidentally ordered a charger instead. And now I cannot even get through to anyone to arrange a return of the incorrect item for a refund! Really poor service... I would personally stick to buying a mower from homebase or directly with Bosch, who have excellent service!

Bought Polesaw & Chainsaw together from Ideal World in 2021.
Chainsaw working OK untill we used Polesaw !.
After using Polesaw saw that Battery was covered in oil from Polesaw !.
All cleaned of as best and Battery charged OK.
After this happened each time Polesaw used, the polesaw pole allows oil to run down onto the battery !.
Although we cleaned oil off the battery, the battery stopped charging properly !. I suspected this was because oil was contaminating the battery.
Swift Tools refuse to replace battery due to poor design !.
The polesaw is designed to be used in an upright position to allow proper useage !.
Have had an ongoing email with Swift Tools in Hong Kong who now say they will give a discount on Battery ! BUT that has yet to appear !!!.
I cannot think of any way to recommend this company or its dealing with its customers.
Best to use others !.

When the mower battery is charged it cuts the toughest of grass beautifully however.....Their website goes to great lengths to inform customers how great their batteries are. They claim that battery will provide enough power to cut up to 250m2 of grass when used with a mower. I have approximately 24m2 of lawn and not one but two batteries which do not provide enough charge to complete the job in one session. I got the second battery believing that the first battery was 'duff' turns out the second battery was just as bad as the first one. Of course they claim that it will cut 'up to' 250m2 and I have to concede that 24m2 does fall within that range so technically they are right, that said they may as well claim that it will cut up to 1000m2! An added frustration seems to be that there is no alternative battery from another manufacturer, so I'm stuck with it taking two days to cut my small lawns front and back.

The Swift 120v Lawnmower is good but there is one major issue.
PARTS, particularly additional batteries.

You cannot get them and Swift are not swift to help you.

Unless this changes, stick with more established brands that you know will have spare batteries, blades etc.

Bought a Swift 40V 37Cm Cordless Wide Battery Lawn Mower - release bar failed, meaning mover blade would not stop - lethal had to remove battery while blade still running, then would never start again. Contacted swiftgarden support - useless no support, no help, no reply to questions - seems to be common reading other reviews - reporting to trading standards next.
