My wife and I had dinner at 90 Resolution Drive in Brampton, this is the only place we experienced the best customer service. At first we ordered for take out but we changed our mind to just dine in, the hostess still accommodated us despite the quick change of mind. When we were ushered to our table we were greeted by Komal our lovely server. She would give recommendations and asked us how the food was and if we needed anything more. She was even sensitive enough to ask if we needed a container since my wife was not able to finish her food. Everyone was just very friendly. We would definitely comeback and will recommend this branch.

We’re at the ancaster Swiss chalet location on golf links February 3 rd around 5 pm. We were told they were short staffed. The girl up at the front taking names disappeared . There were so many people waiting to have there name put on the list but couldn’t . We had waited for 40 mins to be seated . The waitress took our order then gave us drinks and we did it get our food until 55 mins later . About 6 tables that came after us had their food and we didn’t get ours . We were with my elderly parents and our 5 year old grand daughter . We kept being told it will be 5 mins . We finally received our food and it was cold . I only got a small piece of chicken that was cold and a half serving of vegetables. My bun was not the regular dinner roll . It was a hard hamburger type bun? We were. Ever offered refills for our water or drinks . We never received an apology ? For the food taking so long . We never received a discount . We even had to hunt the waitress down and wait for another 20 mins to pay our bill. My parents are elderly and don’t go out much . This was a very disappointing experience . We will never be going back to Swiss chalet . It is so unfortunate because we all love Swiss chalet . But this is about the 3rd time now In the last 6 months or so that we have had terrible service and awful food . Chicken being dry and over done and small portions .

It was clean. The hostess and the server greeted us right away. The food was delivered quickly. It was hot, fresh and delicious. Our server named Maria actually gave us a personal thank you card. We eat at many different Chalet restaurants, this was the first time we received a thank you card and such personal service. We were at the North Ajax restaurant.

Swiss Chalet Tired and Dry (so dry!)
Was at the Swiss Chalet on Taunton and Brock yesterday which has now cemented my view that I will never darken the door at this chain again. From the smudged windows at the entrance (along with the cracked and damaged pull up banner by the door) to the disinterested waitress to the dry 1/4 chicken dinner and 2 orders of quesadillas it felt like we were having yesterday's meals. Just awful ... so thanks but no thanks.

It has been 9 years of ordering, and always dissappinted.
I have to write a review, because I get put on hold forever to speak to someone. I finally got a hold of hirandous, the manager, and he was not helpful or caring at all. I also provided pictures of the food delivered. He asked me to bring it to him!
I will never order again from Guelph Swiss Chalet.
I order from Cambridge a lot, for my grandmother, and she is is always happy with the food and service.
I work hard for my money, and I won't be spending it here.

Well I was having trouble with my order at first because I wasn't feeling well and I was a little since and I don't think people could understand what I was saying then this beautiful lady named Sara came over and helped me she took her time to listen to what I was trying to say and understand what I was trying to get! She was patient and understanding and I would love to come back again and she you amazing waitress and especially SARA she was amazing!! Give her my thanks from Kim Barker

I want to give you guys a five star rating because you have grate employees. And I want to give a thanks to Sara she was a grate waitress.

Went for dinner tonight ordered the 2 can dine for $19.99 had to talk to manager as I was charged $16.99, when speaking to the manager he blamed me for not looking at the bill before I payed, I was with another person and didn’t want to make a seen, but I felt he was very rude, and when I told him it was 1 hours getting the food, he said well what do u expect 1/2 of Guelph is here, very alway bad customer service, won’t be going back

Swiss chalet Woodstock. We had amazing service from our waitress Laura. She mentioned promotions, recommendations, checked in on us and provided fast friendly service.

Wasaga Beach. Terrible. Greasy chicken. Ordered in store and waited 25 minutes for my order. Caesar salad take out was a plastic tray of just lettuce brown on some edges and a packet of caesar sauce. I gave them a two can dine coupon for $20 and she took it. Next person came in and asked if the two can dine needed a coupon and she shook her head no. They were charged as per the small sign near cash of $19! It cost me $1 more with the coupon. The company should investigate this store as its not fair to operate the way they do. Terrible.

Awful. Ordered wings and fries. The fries were cold and so well done they were hard. I ordered 8 wings and only got one flat in the bunch.

We order a lot and it’s never been this bad. It’s too expensive for this calibre of food.

I used to like and enjoy Swiss Chalet food, but not anymore. I just had a terrible experience. I had ordered 1 bundle of dark meat that included 1 quater chicken, a cup of soup, and sweet potato fries of my choice. They sent a very small piece of chicken and very messy. I had to call customer service to complain about it. The guy who's answered apologized and sent me another piece of chicken, but the amount of food they gave for the money is very worthless. 😑 It won't be a next time.

The chicken has very little meat. Ordered donuts and received no dip. The donuts were dry and greasy. Very expensive. 65 bucks for family pack take out seemed a bit much but cheaper than buying 2 meals. Had to wait 25min as they had no chicken. Very seldom have I been to Swiss Chalet that this doesn't happen. Will not be back.

I have always liked Swiss Chalet until now. We decided to order from Cyrville Road, Ottawa, Ontario location and have it delivered to our office for 11:30 am - They were late... The fries looked like death warmed over, I don't know if they were from previous orders but... Also part of the fries were not completely sliced and uncooked - guess they did not have enough left over and had to ad some. Chicken was edible but VERY dry. WILL NEVER RETURN.

1/7/24 I bought a family meal for the first time since the pandemic. The chicken was really small and the mashed potatoes were kind of lumpy, really weird looking. Wondered if they were some sort of instant type of potatoe. Really shocked with the quality. The size of the chicken remined me of the tiny birds that KFC has been serving. I will probably give it one more shot, but if this is the way Swiss Chalet is going, good luck. I wont go back. Anybody notice this or did I just show up at the wrong time. This was at the store in Oakville on Upper Middle RD.

It is always a pleasure to visit Swiss Chalet in Fredericton ,service is fast friendly and hot .
Our server, Kendra was very attentive and cheerful and looked right after us to make sure our visit very enjoyable

Their website is terrible. Currently they can't process credit card payments. Customers can only pay at the door. But my credit card got charged 5 times and they cannot complete the order due to their technical difficulties. If they are unable to process credit card payments why don't they disable that feature?

On December 2, 2023, I ordered Swiss Chalet delivery: quarter chicken Festive Special. I received the quarter chicken dinner but none of the "Festive" items. I called Customer Service as soon as the order arrived. It has now been a month and Swiss Chalet refuses to credit my card for the missing items. For a few dollars, they've lost a long-term customer.

A catastrophic customer experience meltdown—a grim casualty in the restaurant industry.
