They were supposed to be there between 5:30 and 6:00pm. They were a good 2 hours late getting to the first stop. They did communicate well about running late. It was disappointing that I had to reschedule some things because of this.
The guys were very nice and very careful moving the pieces into the house.

One large item of my total delivery was damaged. The delivery team improperly mishandled placing the item in their delivery truck and by doing that it recieved ...significant impact damage . That item had to be reordered . The delivery team was also 1.5 hours + late in delivering my items . There was a lack of real accountability and poor communication with the delivery team about what actually happened and how to resolve our damaged item . The delivery team was not rude or necessarily unprofessional..the way the it was handled was poorly. They seemed to be very much at odds of how to try and resolve the situation because they were not able to promptly contact the delivery company due the entire system being online . I was charged a full delivery amount but only recived 2/3 of my order due rejection of damaged item. Please give your delivery people a way to speak to somebody directly when there is an issue that needs to be resolved promptly . Thank you .

Nour was great! We had to move a number of items from my aunt's home and he made the process stress-free & efficient. I'd recommend him if you have a small move in NYC or northern NJ.

The delivery service was exceptional. On time and helpful.

The takers were excellent but the cost was a bit overpriced.

- Helpers arrived one hour later than agreed start time
- They showed up in a pickup truck when I reserved a cargo van. This caused us to make more trips than originally planned. They told me the van was “in the shop”, however I was not made aware of this until they arrived.
- The helpers could have been more careful with my furniture. Numerous small shelves and handles were dropped while they were moving furniture. I even found a small piece of my bed frame on the stairs outside, meaning the helpers didn’t even notice it fell or didn’t bother to pick it up. Due to the limited space of the pickup truck bed, they had to jam my furniture around, chipping the corners of my bed frame and tv stand!

The guys that handled my delivery were great. I really appreciated their help!

The service was easy to book online. It was nice to know that Taskrabbit/Dolly background checks their service providers. However, it is clear that they don't require any proof that they are capable of completing the task. The movers severely damaged both refrigerators and our hardwood floors (hundreds of dollars of damage to the refrigerators alone) because they did not have the proper equipment to complete the job.

They didn't have moving blankets to protect the items or flooring and they didn't have any way of securing the appliances inside of the U-Haul, so they just LAID THEM DOWN ON THEIR SIDE and they slid around the dirty truck floor during transport, getting scratched up the entire time. Without moving blankets as a buffer, the appliance dolly dented and scratched the stainless steel. They dropped one of the fridge doors in the driveway and damaged the handle. One of the drawers must have fallen out and hit the ground too, because the plastic handle was shattered. Opening up one of the fridges after the move, all of the glass shelves had gotten displaced during and I had to catch them before they hit the ground. The plastic on the apron in front of the wheels was cracked, probably from dragging the appliances around. Finally, at some point they ripped one of the water lines off and out of the fridge, so now I have to pay almost $600 to get it repaired. All of this damage and not a word from the movers - no acknowledgment, no apologies.

To add insult to injury, we lent them a dropcloth to try and protect the floors once we noticed that they were just dragging the appliances across the hardwood and I guess they just took it with them when they left? Hopefully they use it to protect other peoples' property on future jobs.
