While I applaud their attempt at building a shoe from recycled materials, they are very uncomfortable and sized incorrectly. Furthermore they have a nonexistent customer service department and therefore they do not comply with their own policy on returns and exchanges. This is a scam. Do not waste your money.

I like the concept of the shoes per se.
But completely absent costumer service.
Tried to contact them via email and via social media and no answer at all.

The size that I ordered corresponds to my usual EU size. But the shoes fit waaaay too tight. They feel like 1 size smaller at least, and there is no possibility to exchange the product.
So now I saved some plastic to produce some amazing shoes that I’m not gonna be able to use 🤷🏼‍♀️

Edit: after this comment, the same day the costumer service replied to my email and says that they are available for further questions and then disappears again

no refund, custom duties, no support, worst experience i had in my life so far with an online shop

Be warned about no returns for size!

Unfortunately I didn’t read the return policy closely enough and didn’t realize that you can’t return due to sizing. The shoes ran very narrow so they could not be worn and also not returned. They offered me returning them and getting a 40% off discount of my next purchase. Um, no. We are keeping the shoes to find someone else they might fit rather than get a lame discount and potentially be in a worse place then we are now.

Shoes are beautiful and comfortable, the stuff is always in touch. I’ve been surprised also of the fast delivery. The only thing I was disappointed of is the size… I ordered 38 (EU) and I would never think that sneakers could be different but it’s definitely straight… Sure, I had to pay more attention choosing the size, but honestly I think that sneakers shouldn’t have this kind of problems.

Great company with a good initiative to recycle plastic to shoes. The shoes were of sturdy build and unique design. Unfortunately there was a small defect on the shoes when it arrived, but their customer service was very prompt with their refund/exchange process. Will buy again!

I really like the shoes that I received but I don’t know how they feel because the size is wrong. Their website says they accept returns but they don’t! All sales are final unless THEY did something wrong. So don’t expect them to answer you when you wanna make a return. It’s YOUR fault. Too bad. That’s the horrible customer service I got. I’m sure the product is good but customer service is non-existent. So make sure you order the right thing, cause you’re stuck with it!

Additional costs unexpected in the delivery of 38€. Inform the customer before!!!

They have a great look, a reasonable price for the concept and the ability to recycle from start to finish is astonishing but the shoes rub on the ankles, they're only made in men's sizes and the Thaely logo peeled off the tongue and the back within 2 wears.

Replying to reply: I've never heard of unisex shoes. Women and men have different anatomy when it comes to feet. Width, arch, etc. If I did it by length I'd need a size 7.5, you dont have half sizes, and I ordered a 6 (men's equivalent) which fits well enough (a little baggy) but if I bought a size that was my actual length (as you suggest) it would be too big.

The shoes are amazing, made from 10 plastic bags and 12 plastic bottles picked up form the streets in India! They are comfortable, 100% vegan and PETA approved! The customer service is amazing- they are responsive and considerate.

Very quick shipping and response given the distance the shoes travelled.

Very pleased with the packaging, and overall quality of the product.

One tiny defect was a thread a little loose on the shoe., which I have been able to fix myself.

They have a really cool whatsapp customer service setup, so you can easily track your order, and get additional details.

I came across the shoes on Instagram, and the whole purchase was really easy.

Shipping confirmation didn’t come for 7-8days made me worried but arrived promptly after shipped. They are very very cute. May take some time to break in but love these shoes. Thank you.

The sneakers are super cool and these fit perfectly. I love the sustainability and ethics of Thaely and I’m super impressed for how they use trash for making sneakers! Thaely might be the first ever company with an honest mission of making world better place!
Also the delivery was super fast from India to Europe! Highly rocommend!

I must have misunderstood the sizing and didn't realize they were all men's sizes so both pairs of shoes are way too big. I read reviews and looked over the page so I don't think it was clear that women should order two sizes smaller since they are based on male sized feet.

I was very impressed watching the video about the company and the process of making the shoes. The shoes arrived quickly and fit perfectly. I bought one black pair for myself and a white pair for my wife. They look great! As for comfort, they are a bit stiff around the ankle. Hopefully, they will loosen when I break them in;)

The shipping took longer than expected, but that's understandable since they ship from India. The shoes are nice. They feel sturdy. The outer top part is stiff and hits my ankle in a weird spot. I have to wear thick socks and leave the laces loose to prevent a blister. I may try putting in insoles to raise my foot in the shoe so my ankle can sit higher. I feel like the stiffness of the shoes will change the more I wear them. I have wider feet so many shoes my size are tight. I’m an 8.5 W, but I ordered a 9. They’re wide enough to accommodate my feet. A little long, but I prefer more space to being squished into a shoe. These felt fine other than being a little stiff on my ankles. I've worn them twice so far, so I haven't had time to break them in. I look forward to wearing them around. I’m amazed they can use recycled plastics and make a cool looking shoe. Good job. Keep going.

It’s been over a two weeks and the shoes are good, comfy (after the initial break-in phase). Feels good to be investing in a sustainable lifestyle product. The only (nit picky) glitch I had was with the tracking the shipment. The WhatsApp bot couldn’t really find my order ID, but I stayed patient for it states 5 business days on the website. Surprisingly the package arrived by then, while I expected it to only get shipped by then.
