Tedious customer service when DHL loses package
I have a monthly subscription order. This month the order has been 'ready to ship' for a week now. I contact customer service to ask what's up and they tell me it's already my property and I should ask DHL. While it's true the law states that the package in-transport is responsibility of the customer, DHL never picked up the parcel. DHL was unsurprisingly unhelpful when faced with my query.
The Barn eventually sent a replacement order. I whish they would spare me the pain of dealing with DHL.

Der Kaffee ist sehr lecker und wird regelmässig und pünktlich geliefert. Sehr zu empfehlen! Das Abo bietet eine angenehme Abwechslung und die ausgewählten Sorten haben immer meinen Geschmack getroffen.

Best coffee roaster in Europe
I've ordered from many coffee roasters in Europe, and The Barn is my favourite. I love their roasts, their drip bags and instant coffee is great for travel, and their customer service is brilliant.

Do not make a subscription with them!
I have a long standing subscription with them and last months order was a disaster.
They sent the package with an incomplete address. I contacted support already three times, one time the agent said she will send the order on Monday and im still waiting. They ignore your messages and dont answer back; and good luck getting a hold of them.
Its already the 17th of June and the beans were supposed to be delivered on the 23rd of May!
Im canceling my subscription with them…worst service ever

Finger weg von The Barn!
Ich habe am 1. Juli 2023 ein 12-Monats-Pre Paid-Abo bei The Barn über 4 x Filter Kaffee abgeschlossen. Die 1. Lieferung war unvollständig und erst nach vielen Mails wurde das Falsche nachgeliefert. Obwohl die Bestellbestätigung am 1. eines jeden Monats kommt, kam der Kaffee jeden Monat immer mehr verzögert. Was besonders ärgerlich ist, da der Kaffee immer genau für einen Monat ausreicht und ich immer 180 km fahren muss, um woanders Kaffee zu kaufen! So hatte ich am 25.03.2024 immer noch keinen Kaffee! Daraufhin hat The Barn auf meinen Wunsch das Abo gekündigt und mir versichert, dass das zu viel gezahlte Geld schon zurückgezahlt sei. Am 10.04.2024 wurde mir noch einmal versichert, dass das Geld noch an diesem Tag überwiesen werde. Das ist allerdings bis heute (14.04.2024) noch immer nicht passiert. Stattdessen bekam ich am 1. April wieder eine Bestellbestätigung, habe aber immer noch weder den Kaffee für März, geschweige denn den für April erhalten! Auf meine Mails werde ich entweder vertröstet und um noch etwas Geduld gebeten oder ich bekomme gar keine Antwort mehr! Ich habe also €162,66 (zu viel) gezahlt, aber keinen Kaffee bekommen! Ich kann nur sagen: Finger weg!

Not so good coffee , abysmal cusstomer service
Ordered the masterpiece , it didnt come and was sent back , the shop didnt notice , not until I wrote them 2 weeks after asking where my order is , they say the will ship it immediatly , another 3 weeks passed since then, and nothing , I again wrote an email , they said they are having problems and will send it soon with some extras. Since then 3 more weeks passed and I still havent received anything . Their incompetence is funny , the masterpiece coffees are very hit or miss , out of 5 I only liked one, they keep adding fruits to it . Wouldnt recommend .

Not good for vegetarians
I ordered the vegetarian tagletelle - it arrived piled high with tagletelle and you had to hunt for the mushrooms and what ever else which it was to come with and very bland - no sauce. Had to ask for Parmesan cheese to add a bit of flavour. The sweets were good but if you are a vegetarian avoid this restaurant

Kundenservice ist praktisch nicht existent: Aufgegebene Bestellungen werden nicht bearbeitet und auf mehrfache Anfragen (erste nach sieben Werktagen, zweite nach zehn Werktagen) und den Widerruf wird nicht reagiert.

Aber nachdem man seine Daten preisgegeben hat, relativiert sich die großzügige Offerte... „Use this discount code with your next purchase and get a bundle of three coffee samples + our cool tote bag with your order!“
Reingefallen! Ich brauche keine Produktproben mehr, wenn ich schon regulär einkaufe... Ich wette ich bin nicht die einzige, die drauf reingefallen ist. Fragwürdige Art, an Email-Adressen zu kommen.
