Grass seed didn’t grow. Have used company before and the grass seed was ok. Reached out to company who wanted an essay and photos of what we did. Would have liked them to replace the 2 kg bag that I received but to no avail. Won’t use this company again as wasted my money.

My ordered products had been delayed by a week so I reached out to the grass people on email (no phone number) and was informed that DHL had to do a warehouse search for my parcel which would take 24 hours. Three days after that I have still not heard anything. I’m surprised they use DHL who have a really bad rating in the UK.

After doing a product search on the website for lawn weed killer I was recommended a product it was £80 which I felt was rather expensive but hoped the cost would reflect its quality,I opened the product I was sent a couple of weeks after receiving it only to find it was a bag of grass seed and nothing to do with clearing weeds as I was recommended,I contacted The Grass People via email and basically got the usual run around and finally my last email went unanswered I am now £80 out of pocket and have a bag of grass seed I do not require.

Previously we had several deliveries from The Grass People/DHL. Most recent delivery not arrived - DHL advised delivered but offered no signature. Several online requests and emails To The Grass People - no response. No telephone Number for them either ? I have paid for goods that have not arrived. Customer Service non existent

I've planted their wild seed mix 3 years running , following their instructions .

I've not had any flowers , just long grass .

Purchased in March but very little to no growth. Spoke to customer services (eventually) regarding “guarantee” which was not honoured. Disappointing.

Enough time has now passed since my purchase, to leave a meaningful review.
Our garden is shaded in multiple areas due to trees and fencing and we have heavy clay soil. As such, I ordered 2kg of heavy clay soil seeds, and 2kg of shade seed. I mixed the bags 50/50. First I turned the ground my seed was due to be cast over, then I manually aerated the whole surface with a pitchfork. I lightly scatted the surface with a mix of rehydrated coconut coir, compost, horticultural sand and natural seaweed lawn feed, cast the seeds evenly, lightly covered again with the above mentioned mix and lightly watered. Some areas had to be covered with a germination protection layer due to persistent birds. I watered every day, sometimes twice a day. Today, I can see the full results! Our grass is even and beautifully green. I also have a heavy mix of white clover in my lawn (intentionally, and previously sown) so this really holds the grass up and vice versa. I can’t wait to see how my lawn and garden evolve. I will be purchasing more seed, to overseed some areas that I didn’t quite get to before the birds struck, but overall, I am impressed and I would definitely purchase from The Grass People again.

Why is it impossible to speak to these people or DHL who delivers for them? DHL took a photo of the delivery on my door step then left a card saying it needs a signature they’ll be back tomorrow. I work. I can’t wait in all day just for grass seed. Try messaging and calling no one to talk to automated absolutely rubbish service. So I decided to call the grass people just the same don’t answer messages on Facebook etc can’t find a phone number. The money they charge surely they can employee someone to answer the phone. Who knows when it’ll be delivered and I’ll be home to sign. I won’t be wasting my money here again that’s for sure.

A regular buyer of grass seed. Product always 1st rate, is delivered in a matter of days and is competitively priced.
Typically, the seed germinates within 7-10 days and thesults have been fabulous. Visitors to the house think that new lawns have been laid.

I purchased grass seed from The Grass People based on their website’s advice that it could be sown at any time of year. After following their guidance and experiencing complete failure, I requested a replacement. Despite multiple emails, they have ignored my complaint. Very disappointing customer service.

I have nothing but praise for the company; its range & quality of products, delivery timescales, advice and ongoing guidance through newsletters (via e mail) is first class.
Specifically, I’ve used grass seed, slow release fertiliser and 3 in 1 fertiliser and all have performed admirably. There are cheaper products on the market but this is case of getting what you pay for and right now, I wouldn’t look anywhere else for my lawn care needs.

Every year I buy my grass seed from The Grass People to reseed my lawn. The seed is high quality and performs well. The packaging is good quality, delivered quickly and includes detailed instructions on the best time and techniques of when to sow it. Highly recommended.

Impressive fast delivery. Very pleased with the choice of seeds I made for my particular soil type which is growing nicely. Would readily recommend The Grass People for the choice they offer to anyone looking for grass seed.

I have ordered 2 times for my grass seed the quality is very good a fast and efficient service i would recommend and the information they send out in emails of the hints and tips on how best to get results from your products is very good and ideal for beginners and seasoned gardeners

I have found my people! The Grass People! Honestly this is some of the best grass seed I have ever used. Lush, thick and green. The website is really easy to use and the packaging is top quality. You wont regret using them.

We’ve never done anything like seeding a lawn before and we have 3. It’s very clay soil and of poor quality. The main lawn was full of puddles when it rained and very uneven

We contacted the Grass People. We sent them photos and gave them measurements. We wanted 1 clover lawn. They identified how much we needed and my husband followed the instructions.

At first I didn’t think it had worked but gradually it started growing.

The lawns are amazing. We have no soggy sections and the clover is in all 3 lawns (which we love). Thank you so much. We will definitely use you again. Big thank to Roisin who’s advised us. 😊😊

Everything has been as stated from start to finish. Also I have asked some questions via e mail and have received very prompt and clear response from Roisin which has alleviated worries. Everything growing well at present and expecting many flowers over the coming months.
