I would strongly encourage small business owners to fully review and understand every part of this company’s agreement before signing.

My business received a relatively small funding amount, and within only days of funding, I experienced aggressive collection activity, rapid fee escalation, and a UCC lien that resulted in my payment processor freezing my business receivables. This immediately impacted my ability to operate, pay staff, and continue normal business activity.

The most concerning part of my experience was how quickly the balance increased compared to the original funding amount, along with limited explanation regarding certain fees and charges that were added shortly after funding. I also had concerns regarding whether reconciliation based on actual business revenue was meaningfully reviewed before enforcement actions were taken.

Communication became extremely aggressive very quickly, even after explaining that I had temporarily traveled internationally during the onboarding period and returned to numerous escalating notices and restrictions.

I understand businesses have contracts and collection rights, but I believe small business owners should proceed with extreme caution, seek legal review beforehand, and fully understand the potential consequences of default provisions, fee structures, UCC filings, and receivables restrictions before entering into any agreement.

My advice to other business owners:
- Have an attorney review the agreement first;
- Understand every fee and default provision;
- Ask detailed questions about reconciliation;
- And be aware that processor holds/UCC actions can severely impact your business operations very quickly.
