The quality of the furniture is amazing
The quality of the furniture is fantastic, the bedside tables and the chest of drawers look amazing. Nobody would guess that the bed was supplied to be put together by myself.
The only downside is it's so heavy!!! It's definitely a 2 person job with it being solid oak. But is that really a downside?
I only had one query about putting the bed together and that was dealt with very quickly.
I'm looking forward to the delivery of my second order.

David, thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a fantastic review! We’re delighted to hear how impressed you are with the quality of the furniture and that your bedside tables, chest of drawers and bed all look amazing.
And yes, solid oak certainly brings a little extra weight with it! 😂 As you say, perhaps not really a downside when you consider just how sturdy and substantial the furniture is. It’s wonderful to hear that the finished bed looks so good that you’d never guess it was supplied for self-assembly.
I’m also really pleased we could help quickly with your assembly query. Thank you again for choosing The Oak Bed Store, and we hope you absolutely love your second order when it arrives!
Kind regards,
Georgie

Great communication with the store. The assembly of the bed took time but the instructions were very clear. The pistons didn’t appear to function when we tried to close the bed and we were nervous to force them but following advice from Georgia they worked perfectly- need the weight of the mattress to get them to work!!! Beautiful bed

I completely understand why you were nervous when the pistons didn’t seem to be working at first! I’m really glad I could reassure you and that, once the mattress was in place, they worked perfectly. Thank you for taking the time to share that — it may be really helpful for other customers assembling their bed too.
Most importantly, I’m so pleased you’re loving your beautiful Wilmore Ottoman! 😊

What a great company. Contacted them by phone as we had left it late in ordering beds for guests arriving. The lady I spoke with went out of her way to get the order out to us. Many thanks to her. The beds and mattresses are excellent quality and their chosen delivery service was exceptional. Couldn’t be better.

Hi Grazyna,
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review and we’re pleased to hear that you’re happy with your Chester White Ottoman bed.
Regarding your comments about the storage floor, the design is as described on our website. The base of the storage area consists of four removable MDF panels topped with a PU veneer. These panels are optional and are designed to help protect your flooring, while also allowing easy access to and cleaning of the under-bed storage area.
The panels are simply placed on top of the floor and are not fixed into position. As a result, there is no specific weight limit for items stored underneath the bed frame, as the weight is supported by the floor rather than the panels themselves.
We appreciate your feedback and hope you continue to enjoy your new bed.
Kind regards,
Georgie

What a lovely product
What a lovely product, great quality and excellent price. Very straightforward to put together with clear instructions. Delivery was in 4 clearly labelled boxes which were delivered to our first floor bedroom, so no struggling upstairs ourselves as it was very heavy. Would certainly use this company again.
