I have booked a cruise holiday through secret Escapes to take a 10 days vacation but had to confirm and pay through TGH .
A big thank you to Gareth Rees who not only understood my unfortunate circumstances but also was extremely empathetic. The holiday didn’t finalise as the cruise organisation; MSC are obviously far too greedy to cater for special circumstances.

I would highly recommend THG Holidays for organising such an amazing holiday for us to Vietnam and Cambodia. We used THG after noticing this holiday through Secret Escapes. This company were so friendly, helpful and accommodating; deferring our holiday twice due to the pandemic. However, this was worth the three year wait and two deferrals to eventually have such wonderful experiences.
The tour itinerary that Gareth Rees from THG designed and the organisation arranged by this company and their partner representatives, Viantours, in both countries was exemplary.
We were both very nervous, as a couple in our 60’s travelling independently of a tour group, but everything from the first check-in at Heathrow to the first driver pick up at Hanoi and everything onwards worked like clockwork and really reassured us.
The destinations and hotels chosen were of the highest standard. All transfer times were clearly informed to us and the drivers and reps were always prompt to collect us throughout the holiday and help to check-in for our flights was readily available.
Overall it was the holiday of our lifetimes and one we shall never forget. We cannot thank THG enough for making sure that we were looked after so very well. I would recommend this company without hesitation.

Meticulously organised from start to finish! We went on a 17 night Thailand Adventure, City, River and Beach. At every stage, a different driver, car and guide met us along the way and handed us over to the next team, absolutely brilliant, like a well oiled relay team.
THG have been fantastic, especially Janet who answered questions very quickly, even a question during the holiday, very impressive.
THG are professional, enthusiastic and know what they're doing. We will definitely travel with them again.

I booked a holiday in Vietnam with THG last year. As a 70+ female travelling solo for the first time I was a somewhat apprehensive, but I needn’t have worried. Special thanks to Senet who was extremely helpful in arranging my holiday and answering any queries or concerns I had. The whole trip went smoothly and problem free. All arrangements with local guides were excellent from arrival to departure. They were all friendly, helpful, informative and always arrived on time.
I had a wonderful two weeks, stayed in really nice hotels, ate delicious food, met lovely people and most importantly saw my son for the first time in three years. Vietnam is a beautiful country and the people are so friendly and welcoming.

I am so impressed with the service I received from day one. We booked our holiday to Venice but had to change dates later on and I felt that nothing was too much trouble and any questions I had or queries were answered promptly.
Thank you to Senet and her colleagues for a flawless service and a holiday my partner and I will never forget.
For those of you thinking about a break away ,I cannot recommend this company more highly and will continue to use them in the future.

We made a complaint because we’d bought a package holiday to Thailand and one of the hotels included is in a region that’s in the off season which we weren’t made aware of. Instead of owning the complaint they forwarded it to the hotel owner without our knowledge. We’d also made it clear in our complaint that it was directed at them and in no way to the hotel. This led to the owner approaching us and having an awkward conversation as he felt we were unhappy with the hotel. He handled it well but he and us were both put in this unnecessary situation because THG failed to understand the complaint.

Wanted a bucket list trip for my wife and I to celebrate a milestone birthday. Pandemic aside, THG were open, honest and transparent. We travelled throughout Thailand and stayed in 3 different locations, all amazing! Big thank you to Senet, who worked with me to tailor the trip to my requirements, her knowledge and and communications took away all the hassle and made the holiday seamless from end to end.
I've no hesitation to recommend THG to anyone and will be using them again in the future.

We recently booked a Norwegian Fjords cruise with the incredible Kerry at THG holidays. The customer service from Kerry was outstanding - she was knowledgeable, approachable, easily contactable and no question was a silly question (which is great when it's your first time cruising!). We had a brilliant time and can't wait to book with you again. Thank you Kerry for ensuring this much needed break was just what we needed!

Just returned from a three centre fly drive holiday in Tuscany. We had an issue with one of the hotels and emailed Kerry. Our complaint was picked up immediately with an email and phone call the following day. Within several hours we had been offered an alternative hotel and were upgraded! We returned from Thailand in March 22, a holiday organised by THG Holidays.
We cannot fault their excellent service from start of booking to return.
Tony and Gavin were very helpful regarding advising on the hotels and travel requirements due to Covid regulations in Thailand.
The hotels we stayed in were Thavorn Beach Village and Spa resort and Angsana Laguna Phuket.
All our transfers and guide to escort us was arranged by THG. Both hotels were an excellent choice.

Thavorn Beach - perfect for a quiet relaxing time.
It is surrounded by beautiful flora and fauna and felt we were in Borneo rather than Phuket.
The beach had plenty of beds and was quiet most of the time.
The staff were very friendly and happy to resolve any issues if there were any. My husband had lost his phone while on a tour, and the reception staff helped by calling the agent of the tour. Luckily, it was found in the taxi that brought us to the hotel and the driver personally came to give it to him.
It seemed they were a bit short of staff in all departments and talking to some we were told that quite a few staff had not returned from the villages as Thailand had not opened up completely then. Hopefully, this will have improved by now.

Angsana Laguna - was another beautiful lively hotel with a 3 mile long sandy beach longest swimming pool we have ever seen. Food in different restaurants offered variety of cuisine and being vegetarians were accommodating to our diet.

Thank you THG for organising our much needed holiday after 2 years. We will definitely be returning to book another one soon!

THG holidays have provided a fabulous service for a group of 20 golfers going to Benidorm. Hotel booked was first class, great location, hospitality and food request for 1st floor rooms also catered for. This was expected as we have used THG hidays for several years.
THG holidays booked the hotel for us for the original trip in 2019 ago and even though Covid kicked in the communication, dialogue and help received was fantastic. We finally got the trip on in April 2022 and will be rebooting for 2023.

Can only recommend the service offered, absolutely first class, well done again THG holidays.

Booked a special Holiday to Costa Rica with THG. Wanted to travel around and experience different areas and activities. Bev Boden at THG was fantastic and very patient with me in building the trip I wanted. She provided options, advice and all her suggestions were excellent. My wife and I had a fabulous experience and agreed it was our best holiday ever ! We stopped in 5 different hotels all special in their own way and Bev booked a superb local firm to handle our private transfers and activities that added to the experience. In short, exciting wildlife, unforgettable views, brilliant activities from zip wiring and hanging bridges in cloud forest to monkeys in the hotel grounds and crocodiles while river rafting. Very grateful for the patience and excellence of Bev at THG in working together on this experience .

We went on holiday to Jordan with THG Holidays
It was amazing and we could not have asked fro a better experience.
The guide and driver that escorted us were friendly and helpful and we learnt so much from them. Having a personal one on one experience just added to the overall magic of the holiday. Would deffinately recommend.

Where is Bev when you need her? She is an absolute STAR. She was very patient, very friendly, accommodating and very helpful indeed. She explains everything we need to know about our future hols and even exchanges emails for further information for our booking. She made our DAY very special today and can't thank her enough for her time and effort she put in with me over the phone and through email exchange.

We have just returned from an amazing 2 weeks in Sri Lanka. Janet who booked our holiday for us gave us the freedom to change our itinerary and hotels, which we did several times and she always got back to us promptly and managed to organise everything we wanted. The holiday went incredibly smoothly and I would definitely recommend booking through THG travel.

Just returned from a wonderful week in Jordan. It was very well organised and the guide was very knowledgeable. We had some great experiences - floating in the Dead Sea, visiting amazing historical sites such as Jerash and Petra, spending a night in the desert with a jeep ride and seeing the sunrise on a camel ride. Small group and great hotels with wonderful food. All this and just over 4 and a half hours flight from London!!

Dubai and Maldives 14 day vacation for a special birthday… booked midway through 2021 for a March 2022 stay
Booked via Secret Escapes but the holiday is with THG and they make all the arrangements
Secret Escapes is really good for high end discounted holidays but can be a minefield of choices
Rather than just look at the location reviews take the time to look at who is arranging it
Once I started digging I found a lot of 5* reviews of holiday companies from reviewers on here, who had booked but hadn’t yet been on holidays …. How great the deal was; what they were getting; how great the staff were etc.
Read all of the reviews from those having had the holiday… that’s when you can make an informed decision
Dealing with complaints Covid issues refunds etc is key as well as promised deals
From start to finish I had easy access to staff both directly on the telephone and via emails
Accommodating any tweaks in my itinerary; flights airports and duration
Everything ( almost) as per schedule
All transfers trips flight….all very seamless and relaxing
The one glitch, a trip / transport issue in Dubai… I was able to contact the travel agent whilst there to complain and the matter was resolved and financially compensated

We have booked 3 holidays with THG Holidays and we have loved every single one.
From our initial calls with regards to looking for a holiday to the arrival home it has always a smooth process. Even during covid times, any concerns about PLF forms were always explained and we always knew what we needed to do and where we needed to go.

They always book stunning hotels in stunning locations, with that being said, if you enquire about a location they do not recommended then they are always open with their views and recommendations. They will not send you to a country unless they know you will have the best experience.

We can’t wait to go to Jamaica in May.

Superb trip to Costa Rica. We were very well looked after by our drivers and guides. We stayed in 3 hotels, all of which were excellent. Our schedule was put together with our request to see as much wildlife as possible and we were delighted to see everything we wanted, although not always where you thought to look! Already planning our next trip which will be our 3rd with THG Holidays.
