A follow-up to my initial review
A follow-up to my initial review: I’ve always believed you learn the most about a business when things don’t go smoothly, and Titan really proved themselves in a positive way. After some initial frustration, we were supported by Dylan, Leighton, and Ben, who ultimately delivered a 5-star service through to completion.
As you might expect with the installation of a large number of batteries, we experienced a few teething issues. I won’t go into all the details, but there was quite a bit of communication back and forth with the team.
Ben was extremely knowledgeable and helpful on the technical side, ensuring everything was eventually working as it should.
Leighton initially, and then Dylan afterwards, were both incredibly supportive in helping us understand the issues and working through solutions. They were consistently positive, approachable, and clearly cared about getting things right.
Together, we reached a great outcome, and I would highly recommend them all.
I’d particularly like to highlight Dylan, who truly went above and beyond. The level of customer service he provided is the best I’ve experienced from any company in a very long time.

Terrible after-care & customer service. Faulty installation.
The initial sales pitch and installation were handled well. But my solar panels failed within 4 weeks after installation and Titan’s customer service/after-care was non-existent.
They did not answer their phones or respond to emails. When making contact, they were dismissive and showed no particular urgency.
After a catalogue of missed appointments, unanswered calls and emails, they finally sent a qualified installer 6 weeks later that identified a faulty part and this was fixed in about 10 minutes. Why it took 6 weeks to respond has still not been adressed.
I have made a complaint to the company and as of today (5 weeks later) this has not been responded to or even acknowledged.
HIES has also inspected and apart from the main installation problem, they have also identified some other minor issues.
Its a shame that Titan could not match their initial enthusiasm to sell their product with any decent after care (which was sold as a feature during the sales pitch).
So I do not recommend this company and you should avoid.

The delay in completing the rectification work was due to a period where we were awaiting access to the property, as you were away for approximately 3 weeks, and we were unable to carry out the required attendance without someone being present.
We understand how frustrating delays can be, and we apologise for any inconvenience this caused. Once access was available, we acted promptly to diagnose and resolve the issue.

Pleased with Titan solar system installation
Titan kept to the schedule for my solar installation and the equipment is working well and appears to be of good quality. The staff were pleasant and explained the equipment operation and App for monitoring the system. As the walls of my house are white I would have preferred the cable conduit to be white rather than the black used on my system. However, I can overcome this minor niggle by painting the conduit white.

"Here Comes The Sun"... and free electricity!! :-)
I was recommened to Titan by a work colleague who had recently purchased panels.
I last thought about solar many mnay years ago but never bothered. But thought, why not give it another try.
Got in touch and first spoke to Matt.
He was very friendly, and great to talk to. He give us a complete run-down on all the details, numbers and what is involved.
The numbers looked too good to be true.
But we trusted and believed him, and ordered our solar panel set up with a battery.
From then we had contact with many of the Titan staff, sorry if I miss someone. All were equally as freindly and knowledgeable..

We had the survey and a heat pump was suggested.
Another chat with Matt and, well...we bought that as well :-)
The process was very smooth with good communication, from surveyors, scafolders, equipment delivery, and finally the fitters themselves.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
The fitting was done in a day and after which we were given a full demo of the app and equipment.
Everywhere was left tidy too.
Can't wait to change to a tarrif that pays ME, only the second day and already I have exported 10kwh to the grid for FREE, at the time of wrting this 5.6kw is leaving!
But, more importantly, I can already see my reliance on the grid has drastically dropped. Only the standing charge and a couple of watts here and there.
Yes it is a large outlay, but I calculated that we were effectively paying 10 years worth of energy up front, at todays prices. If you consider increases in costs in the future, and add to that the revenue from sold units to the grid and payback will be much sooner.

Excellent solar system and installation.
Fast efficient survey and quote process. Fitting the whole 12 panel system, converter and battery including bird protection took just over 4 hours. The fitters were first class and very professional, helped me install the solar app and took me through its use.
Cleaned up after themselves and left the house and exterior area in an immaculate condition. Would definately recommend Titan. The who system is working like a dream and now looking forward to the system paying for itself.

From the initial phone call to switch on of the installed system took less than 2 weeks.
System was installed in a day !!!!
All working and watching the app, as it shows how much energy is generated, is better than watching YouTube !
No hitches whatsoever and a very reasonable price for the large system I had installed.
19 panels, 7.5kw inverter, 2 x 12kw batteries and a gateway switch.

Titan Energy Systems PV panel, battery and EV charger Install.
I have been very impressed with Titan Energy's installation, from enquiry to survey was less than a week with installation in less than 2 weeks for the panels, batteries and EV charger. What I particularly liked about Titan is the clarity of their costs for every part of the install. The Ops staff who make all this happen have been excellent, keeping me informed at every stage with telephone calls and text messages, nothing has been too much trouble and I must have spoken to all of them. Thankyou, Bethany, Dylan, Lucy and Jacqueline.
The installers were efficient and considerate. I was advised that I needed some pointing carried out on the roof and they contacted the Ops Staff to request a delay in the removal of the scaffold. All told a positive experience. Thank you.

Avoid at all costs. I signed up and never got any work done. 7 months of chasing and trying to get them to carry out the work have left me trying to get the deposit returned through my bank
It’s the same website same numbers and staff. But claiming it’s a different person that has stolen your money and not supplied or carried out any work. As a professional trade man it’s companies like you that make the industry impossible for the honest people

Pushy sales no accreditations provided.
Pushy sales after a meeting of 1:30 hours given 10 minutes to make my mind up, prices are to change in 2 days. did not provide up to date accreditation or provide liability insurance. After 2 days and repeated phone calls and messages nothing was provided. Red flag for me. Dale who proclaimed to be the company boss… not sure as Lucy is the CEO (apparently.) Paid a deposit and that was returned a few day after making my decision to stop the purchase. Within my 14 days consumer rights. After cancelling the order the scaffolding company turned up the next day. Dale I found very rude after I cancelled my order by sarcastically ending our call by saying to me have a good life and put the phone down on me. I would stay clear lots of red flags.

We would like to clarify that all customers are fully entitled to their 14-day cooling-off period, and as you mentioned, your deposit was returned promptly once you decided not to proceed.
Regarding documentation, we did provide the updated accreditation certificates as requested. However, as we explained at the time, our company insurance documentation is private business information and is therefore not something we provide externally.
The scaffolding attendance after cancellation was due to scheduling already being arranged prior to your cancellation request being processed, and we apologise for any inconvenience this caused.
We are also sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the phone conversation. It was never our intention to come across negatively, and we apologise if the interaction left you feeling that way. We always aim to be professional, respectful, and helpful throughout the process.

An easy process
The installers were professional and efficient and caused no problems despite arriving around tea time. We had a few teething troubles with firmware and a sensor connection immediately after installation but within a few days everything was up and running. On a sunny day I'm effectively 'off grid', and even on the first moderately dull one the battery had sufficient power to get me through. Obviously i can't comment on winter performance yet.

Had my solar panels and battery and…
7Had my solar panels and battery and invertor fitted last September all had been good until the invertor went offline 4 weeks ago. They then became very hard to get hold off when I did they just sent me all the how to videos which I have done several times. They genuinely don't want to help from what I'm gathering they installed cheaper wifi boosters instead of fitting a wired connection to the invertor. Instead of coming out to rectify this fault a quick wired connection. They have just sent me the details of the insurance company but nothing is broken apart from the fact that they didn't do the install correctly. They will gladly take your money but when it comes to any problems good luck They suddenly are always on the other line or are out to lunch. Just to be clear I was not sent a wifi booster or was I offered a wired connection. The fact that you have changed names should not stop your liability this should of been a wired connection from the start. And yes your ops have said they will try and help but no actual help ever came.

Thank you for your review — I’m sorry to hear you feel this way.
To clarify, your system was originally installed by UK Solar Experts prior to the company going into administration. As a result, Titan Energy is not contractually responsible for the installation itself or any remedial works.
That said, we have still made considerable efforts to support you. As you mentioned, the system was connected and working for over 7 months, which indicates the installation and connectivity were functioning correctly during that time. The issue appears to be related to a loss of WiFi connection rather than a fault with the inverter itself.
We have spent several hours assisting you via phone calls and providing guidance videos to help restore the connection. When this did not resolve the issue, we also supplied a WiFi booster free of charge as a gesture of goodwill, due to the poor WiFi signal at the property.
You also requested a hardwired ethernet connection. We did offer to arrange this for you, however this would require a chargeable call-out at £250, which you chose not to proceed with.
We do understand how frustrating connectivity issues can be and have genuinely tried to support you within the scope available to us.
If you would still like to proceed with a hardwired solution or need further assistance, please let us know.

Paid the deposit to secure a certain…
Paid the deposit to secure a certain price,didnt want to go further with the purchase in the end.
Tried 3 days to get in contact with someone to find out how and when I will get my deposit back.
It's been almost a week and all I've got is will get in contact with our accounts people to get your deposit back.

Whilst the technical review was good
⁷Whilst the technical review was good, the sale was misrepresented as they say you get a full refund of your deposit, when you don't.
I was told despite the roof survey I would still get my full deposit back on a recorded call, which is the only reason we went ahead, under the guise of nothing to lose. At no point were we advised there was a charge for the roof survey. Only when I asked for the refund and queried why it wasn't the full amount did Bethany advise why, and only by email and thats the first we heard about it! on 19th March. After the event which is not acceptable! Very poor Customer service.

A refund of £400 was processed on 19/03/2026. As part of your project, a site survey had already been completed and the results provided. As explained on multiple occasions by Bethany, the survey is chargeable at £250, which was clearly communicated to you at least three times prior.
We appreciate that this may not have been the outcome you were hoping for, but we have acted in line with the agreed terms.

Incredibly helpful, clear, supportive, patient, and professional.
If someone had said to me before I connected with Titan that they would be this thorough, accommodating, and professional whilst being so supportive and patient when dealing all my questions and doubts, I would have said it was a joke or a scam thinking "nothing can be that good". But, my experience was all those things, and more. To get the whole system (27 solar panels, 2 inverters, 6 batteries) all installed and working in one day, well, it is incredible!
A new ASHP is being installed in a couple of weeks.
I'll report back after the ASHP for the final few words. I imagine they will say the same sort of thing.
Titan have done virtually everything, I am honestly amazed!
