I cant recommend TMO enough, it is always stressful when things go wrong but Charlotte, who helped me today, was very helpful and talked me through exactly what was happening, next steps and answered all my questions, making sure i was comfortable with the action taken and put my mind at ease. Absolutely terrible experience with this warranty company.
My BMW 540I has been stuck in the garage for over THREE WEEKS due to oil and coolant leaks, and they are still unable to resolve a straightforward claim.
They insisted on sending a third-party inspector, but the process is completely unreasonable. The garage was told to dismantle parts of the vehicle BEFORE the inspection, with no clear confirmation on who will cover the additional labour costs. On top of that, the car would need to stay on the ramp for days, preventing the garage from taking other jobs.
The inspection itself is also delayed, meaning even more waiting time with no progress.
Because of this, my car is still not repaired, and I have been left without a vehicle for weeks. The lack of efficiency, poor communication, and refusal to take responsibility for costs is extremely frustrating.
If this continues, I may be forced to pay out of pocket for a rental car just to get on with my daily life.
Would NOT recommend this company to anyone. Be very careful before purchasing a warranty from them.

Very helpfull and efficient. Polite and easy to talk to. Speedy positive response. Great service.
Warranty works but don't expect them to cover Main dealer Labor rates
Full Platinum warranty
BMW Main dealer won't deal directly with TMO so you have to act as the middle man.
TMO will only cover a certain labor rate - £40 per hour in the case and as BMW is over £120 per hour you end up out of pocket.

Your staff are great knowledgeable and helpful, but the rates you allow for labour are pitiful in this day and age. £41. It’s taken 9 months to get a garage willing to work with yourselves let alone the rate. Even this company are over £71/hr and would only accept the job if I pay first otherwise they would not have accepted the work

First contact with TMO was excellent, my case was dealt with in a timely manner and clear instructions were given. It did take a few attempts to get through to the helpline post repair but my overall experience was very good. Thank you Mollie and Charlotte
Hugely disappointed with their decision making
Hugely disappointed with the feedback provided for not supporting warranty claim on faulty DPF, stating on the call that the part is known to be an issue on the car. No reason linked to wear and tear, driving style etc provided, nor did they provide any detailed reason. Outlined that the platinum plus cover on their sales flier covers DPF. When escalated concerns to a manager, was not interested. Garage bill £3k, max claim is £2k. Have the warranty for two more years, but can’t see them covering anything! Would never use again. Pursuing settlement, will pursue to the small claims court just out of principle. I’m sure their response to this will be the same stuff that is on other failed claims. Back your money for when car needs a fix

Charlotte managed to resolve this quickly for me and went out of her way to let me know that the refund has now been issued as she wanted to let me know personally which I think is a lovely thing to do it’s more than appreciated when most people don’t rush to do their jobs anymore but to go out of her way to ring me is lovely.
