Utterly useless company. Like previous comment tried to upload information and just keeps showing an error message every time. Best advice is to either pay more for your appliance and get a decent man... Ver mais

Ferrex cordless circular saw lithium battery short.

Shocking service, followed the online instructions to the letter and informed it would take up to 14 days for a response, I called and confirmed they had my ticket and it would be processed.

1 Month later nothing. Called again and the lady checked case number they had my ticket and fault details and would escalate my fault to priority, 2 months later called again same answer, 3 months later same answer. Finally received email from Rhod asking for all the same photographic evidence serials nos etc again.

Still waiting. I was willing to give Aldi Ferrex a break but due to the dangerous nature of the fault I think it’s time to escalate my case to the health and safety executive and Aldi CEO let’s see if that makes a difference. All I wanted was a working replacement or refund not exactly difficult.

Aldi/ToolHelp abysmal customer service

I needed to return a 5 month old tyre inflator.
After calling the 'disconnected' telephone number on the instruction/warranty manual!
I resorted to raising a ticket with ToolHelp, this wasn't that easy to do either. But, i did manage it. That was on the 21st October 2025, I haven't heard a thing from them, not even an acknowledgment!
I also sent an email to help.aldi(something similar!) they ignored that too. Well done Aldi, I'm sure you've saved money somewhere. But,it was at the cost of customer satisfaction.

Useless call re battery charger & no response to ticket raised.

I rang up about the battery charger which was still under warranty. I was told pre giving any information to go to a local expert store and get them to check it out as it would be a waste of time for me to return it to Toolhelp as it may not be faulty. I offered to go though the scenareo about what lights where showing etc but was advised as he was in a call centre in Berlin he didnt know anything about batteries or any other items. Why would another company test the battery - 1)knowing they were not getting a sale and 2) where is such a place in the UK that offers such services. Ive raised a ticket instead - that was 5 days ago and not had an acknowlegement they have received it.

Excellent service

Excellent service. Responded within an hour, asked all the important questions within the next day and had my issue resolved within a week. I was very impressed

Probably the worst company I have had…

Probably the worst company I have had to deal with. It took 9 days to respond to my initial ticket and then nothing at all after I provided all the information they requested. I then contacted Aldi customer services who were helpful but ultimately they (and me) were fobbed off saying tool help could not help and to get a refund. Looks like I'll be changing my entire tool system.

Useless

Useless. Told me they were going to send a replacement battery for a pump I purchased from Aldi I used once. That was over a month ago... Many messages later have not been responded to.

1 phone call

Lidl customer service provided details of company, 1 phone call and Charlie sent me a link allowing me to place my order mid afternoon, confirmed almost immediately, dispatched that day, delivered within 48 hours. All round excellent service.

Website has lots of technical issues, but my ticket was dealt with quickly and efficiently

I wasn't expecting my issue to be helpfully resolved when I contacted Toolhelp (for a replacement part for a chainsaw which was still under warranty), but I ended up being really surprised by how quickly my ticket was dealt with and how quickly the new part arrived (14 days).

The worst thing about Toolhelp is their website - it's beset with technical issues. When I first tried raising a ticket it just wouldn't send - it kept saying the browser wasn't supported, and if I had several lines of text it covered up the Next/Send button. I came back to it again and I eventually managed to get it to raise a ticket, although I couldn't send multiple photos. It also took several attempts to register an account, but when I tried to log in again a few days later, I'd forgotten my password. I got a reset link sent, which was fine, except I couldn't reset my password without entering my old password, which I didn't know - so a bit useless really!

Totally useless

Totally useless, seems to be an effort to dodge any action. Had a bench saw was faulty from new, just kept being linked to an over complex website that kept asking me to fill in the same questions over and over. Kept sending photos, kept getting an email back asking me to go to their awful Tool Help site yet again, never got an answer of any use. Will never buy tools from them again.

My battery chainsaw wouldn't work and,after contacting Aldi, was given Toolhelp's number. I was impressed, once I'd provided the info needed, that I got a really quick reply and also that a replacement had been ordered! Although it was covered under warranty it was refreshing to get an instant reply and a new chainsaw. So don't worry if you find you've been passed on to Toolhelp, it's actually good news!

The telephone helpline directed me to…

The telephone helpline directed me to Toolhelp, for assistance with an Aldi rechargeable battery.
The online form was straightforward and submitted. The subsequent help from toolhelp was superlative.
Effective, fast and extremely customer orientated. I now have a replacement for the defective battery and can fully recommend the service. Thank you toolhelp.

Saw replacement

I contacted tool help with regards to an issue i had with a circular saw from Aldi.
Tool help were prompt in getting back to me and sorted out my issue very quickly.
They took my details and sent me a new saw within a matter of days.
Excellent service.

Yeah very helpful company very pleased with the service very good communication regarding my warranty claim on the batteries and resolved it professionally . I would recommend them. Thank you once again for all your help in resolving the matter.

Great customer service

Rang the helpline and was advised that as they were busy, it would be better to raise a 'ticket' through the website. This I did and within an hour received an email informing me of the information they required. Once sent I received a second email advising they would look into it.
This morning I was sent another message to tell me a replacement product would be dispatched within 24 hours.
Great communication and response all within 24 hours, and what I consider to be excellent customer service. Thank you Tool help.
Update, as promised yesterday I received via Royal Mail a replacement compressor. All done within 4 days. Thanks again Tool Help👍😎
