The 70/30 mix soil was disappointing. I ended up with 2 wheelbarrows full of stones, that’s what I was able to push out via the leveling rake. And whatever stones were left on soil, too many to pick. The 10mm stones are big and some are larger. Not a great decision, just before winter. Best to use sharp sand instead, a thinner layer.

I used the site calculator to work out how many 850kg bags to order - worked out perfectly. Once I placed the on-line order I contacted the service desk to get a delivery date, we were going on holiday and wanted to make sure the order would arrive in time. I had a quick reply from Sarah and true to their word the bags were delivered on pallets on time. Great looking material, the border mix has extra drainage grit included compared to the veg mix.

The topsoil is full of stones. My gardener has now put on my lawn and we now have to remove which is expensive and difficult. Quality of soil is awful.

The compost is good quality for beds and borders. Excellent communication with Sarah who organised for the bulk bag to be delivered in a certain area. Thanks to the driver who carried out the delivery perfectly. I highly recommend this company and I will be using them again.

As a professional gardener, finding consistent peat-free compost is a big challenge but Topsoil have managed to achieve this. I’ve been recommending this company to clients over the past year and the quality has always been great. Recently I had to place two complicated orders for clients and Sarah was fantastic at managing the deliveries around planting schedules. Couldn’t recommend more highly.
