Quality radiators
The ordering process was very easy. The colour choice is amazing. They keep you well informed with regards to shipment and delivery. They are expensive, but they are great radiators. This is the second one we’ve bought from this company. It won’t be the last, we’re going room to room and replacing all of our radiators. They really are very high quality. They sent the wrong sized connectors but after contacting them, they sent the correct ones the very same day and we received them the day after. Great after sales service. Overall really pleased with the service we have received.

Radiator Size Discrepancy – Unexpected 5% Variation Cost Me Time & Money
I recently ordered a number of Victorian-style cast iron radiators from tradscastironradiators.co.uk — specifically the 2-column and 4-column designs. Visually, they are excellent. The build quality appears solid, and the aesthetic fits perfectly with the period features of the property.
However, I was very disappointed with the lack of clarity around manufacturing tolerances. The website provides specific dimensions, including pipe centres, which I used to install fixed pipework in advance. Upon delivery, I discovered that some of the radiators were up to 35mm shorter than stated — a major problem that has cost me both time and money to rectify.
When I called the customer service line, I was told there is a 5% manufacturing tolerance on all radiators. This is understandable for cast iron products, but nowhere on the website was this tolerance mentioned clearly, nor was there any disclaimer about potential variation in pipe centre measurements. In my view, the site should not give specific pipe centre measurements at all if they are not guaranteed. At the very least, there should be a clear warning about tolerances so customers can make informed decisions.
Overall, while the product looks great, the lack of transparency around sizing tolerances makes this a frustrating experience. If you’re installing pipework ahead of delivery, be extremely cautious and allow for variation — or risk having to redo it at your own expense.

Stylish radiator
Beautiful radiator. It matches the old ones already in our house. I liked the updates to tell me when the order was ready. The delivery driver was very good and put the radiator where I asked him to. It's been a hassle-free experience and I'd use Trads again.

Ordered another 6 radiators, they were slightly more expensive vs the cheapest competitor I could find online but having ordered from Trads before I knew the service and product are brilliant.
Eve pulled together the order, their emails kept me informed of the build and test progress and delivery was provided with a 2 hour slot. Can’t wait to get them fitted.
The previous order has been installed for over 3 years and look just as good as the day they arrived, no leaks, no issues.

I understand you believed the item you purchased would be freestanding, however as shown in all of our illustrative photographs of the product online, these are wall mounted.
We’re sorry to hear that you felt the collection cost wasn’t what you expected. We understand that shipping costs can sometimes seem high, however the £75 collection charge reflects the careful transportation of your pallet. The cost is from a third party pallet network company who he work alongside daily and is a competitively priced. The item couldn't be sent via a parcel courier due the size and weight of the item.
We have offered for you to return the item via your own chosen method to which we can then refund the item in full for you.
