Dear Caroline Adedun,

We are sorry to read your comments; however, we must firmly clarify that your account does not accurately reflect the situation or the actions taken on your booking.

You contacted us at approximately 9:00am on the day of travel, with your flight scheduled for 1:30pm. From the moment we received your call, we acted immediately and with urgency on your request. There was no delay or lack of response from our side.

As this was a same-day travel amendment, all changes are subject to airline availability, airline response times, and immediate payment, and options are extremely limited, particularly during peak Easter travel periods. It is also important to note that we are required to liaise directly with the airline for all amendments, and we are dependent on their response times and call handling, which can vary and are outside of our control.

We also provided all available information from the airline and explored the alternative destinations you suggested. Unfortunately, airline systems require changes to be completed at least 3 hours before departure, after which the booking moves into airport control, and no further amendments can be made. Given the very limited timeframe, airline processing requirements, and response times, it was not possible to secure a change before departure.

We strongly reject the suggestion that options were not provided or that we failed to act. All available alternatives were communicated to you exactly as received from the airline, and we worked on your request continuously within the short window available.

While we understand your disappointment, the outcome was determined entirely by airline rules, ticket conditions, response times, and the last-minute nature of the request, not by any lack of service or effort from us.
