i’ve been a paying customer for a long…
i’ve been a paying customer for a long time but lately it’s utterly frustrating trying to watch a recording. i noticed the response to a similar review where they state that there is no problem with the recordings. almost every single recording i’ve tried watching over the last two weeks has shown a problem! it freezes, buffers, comes back, buffers again and often freezes completely! sometimes it won’t even start! i’ve written to their customer service (which is actually pretty good, ie quick responses) and they are apparently aware of the recording problems, which have been reported to their developers.
it used to be an excellent service but has deteriorated over the last few months.
i don’t mind paying for a (good!) service but this is getting seriously frustrating.

Service too hit-and-miss for the price charged
I joined just before the World Cup, specifically to watch matches. I did not have a problem with the paid subscription and I understood that the removal of the "free hour per day" offer was to prevent the service being overwhelmed during the World Cup. However as a paying customer I was disappointed that I often could not connect to matches on RTE2 or BBC/ITV or, if I could connect the connection would get interrupted several times during the match. I know that this was down to numbers connecting because often I would end up watching the match on German TV and this would not get interrupted. As a paid service this is not good enough. If I pay for a service I should be able to access it whenever I want. This is too expensive a product to get hit-or-miss service. I have ended my subscription.

I want to deactivate the account
I didn't used much tvmucho so I don't have issues with their service till now and it was good that I could record a show to watch later. I think it is their right to charge the service but on their site it is still up that with a free membership you have up to 1 hour a day, every day to watch.
Now there are no more free memberships and I couldn't find a way to deactivate my account.
I'm using a laptop.

Nice while it lasted
I am a bit bemused that some people are giving them one-star reviews because they have started charging. It's a business, they are within their rights to ask for money. Personally, €7.99 a month is too much for me because I just used to turn the app on and channel surf a bit, and I would love them to do a €1 a month option for an hour of viewing time a week or something, but in the meantime I will say I always thought it was pretty amazing that it was free before - I certainly can't find anything remotely similar for nothing. If you want British TV access 24/7, I think the video quality was great and the interface was nice (weird channel order aside!)

False advertising
This company is a complete waste of time. 1 hr free viewing a day has been cancelled but they are still advertising it. It has been replaced with a 7 day trial period of 15 free minutes a day. Really... shame on you Mucho .. what can I possibly watch in just 15 minutes... money grabbing app. Goodbye Mucho.

So that's it then: TV Mucho decided to stop the 1-hour free access for good. It's in their right, of course, but the fact they did it without announcing to the free subscribers and used the World Cup as an excuse, just goes to show what a crappy company they are. 1-hour free was all I needed, and their platform instability didn't do much to convince me to part with my money for a paid subscription. Good riddance, TV Mucho. It was good while it lasted.

irish channels gone and no more free hour
I was going to subscribe a few months ago but all virgin channel's Ireland were removed and replaced by bbc channel's, how ridiculous is that.now just checked and no free hour either the world cup finished yesterday Can tv mucho clarify if the free hour has been cancelled for customers?

Disgraceful false advertising
This used to be good service and the free hour was great but now this has been taken away, originally the excuse was the world cup, but now that is over its still not back so world cup was never the reason!! it's also false advertising as the free hour is still being promoted on the website. I always suspected the free hour wouldn't return in December and world cup was just an excuse to get people to pay, if this is the case then just be honest and state it's a fully paid service on your website!!

OH SCREW THIS!
As many of you are already aware, TVMucho has restricted access for free customers due to the World Cup. That's fine, no big deal, I was willing to wait till the World Cup ended before I could start using TVMucho again, and I was willing to tolerate only being able to use it for 1 hour a day.
However, here's the problem. As of typing this, the World Cup is now completely OVER, yet they STILL have the restriction set in place!!! WHAT'S GOING ON?! I contacted customer support and they told me that they've quote unquote "indefinitely suspended" the 1 hour access!!! WHAT THE HELL?!
Seriously, now that the World Cup is over, there is LITERALLY *NO* REASON why the 1 hour access should stay suspended! The people behind TVMucho were always behind the mantra of providing some sort of service to those who could not afford it. That's what they were always behind. But now... I FEEL BETRAYED!
I'm so tempted to use a whole bunch of profanity in this review. That's how mad I am. But because I know how Trustpilot will reject and remove this review if I do, I've had no choice but to hold back my anger.

Is this a scam? It offers 1 free hour but asked to upgrade to paid subscription due to World Cup - it ended yesterday. False advertising.

Buffering interrupts recorded programmes
Lots of buffering when I watched a recorded programme last night. And tonight, I can't even get a recording to start. So disappointed. In theory it should be such a great service for expats. In practice, I'm starting to wonder if I did the right thing to pay for stockage on their 'Later' service.

Complete rubbish
I have previously used TVMucho to record continuity announcements from British, French, Irish and German television. However, apparently they want to be even more of a scam and try to profit off of the World Cup by forcing a subscription onto all free users. Will not use until the World Cup is OVER.

Stopped working two weeks after paying
Lots of glitches, doesn't work properly, the app forgot that I have a subscription plan and and stopped working after two weeks. Waste of money

Complete implosion for the last few…
Complete implosion for the last few weeks. I've had it for a while and while there have always been some glitches it was bearable. But it has completely gone down the toilet for weeks now and they just can't sort it out. Can't watch a single how without it buffering every few seconds, and just get generic replies saying how sorry they are.
Replying to TV mucho. Elaborate? I have written you dozens of emails, specifically annoyed off that you keep trying to push this back onto my internet connection even when I explain my internet is confirmed running super fast, everything else works perfectly, I do 5 or 6 hours of video calls each day fine for work...and especially when when you FINALLY do a reboot after an hour of emails, it then works fine again. This is YOUR service, take responsibility.

I'm not sure why the service won't work…
I'm not sure why the service won't work for me. I've just enrolled in the free version, I have a UK VPN in place, I've cleared all cookies. But when I try to play something, I get a message about being "outside the satellite area, and I'm offered to get liberte VPN, but I am already geoloacted in the UK.
I can see an activation code in my profile on the page, but I can's see where to use it, have not been asked to use it. My email has been verified.
I have also tried using no VPN, ie location is Canada, and VPN for NYC, and Amsterdam. But always the same problem.
So, I need some help :) Thanks in advance.

I am soo happy that I found Tv mucho - I live in Greece but have family and friends from the UK - using their service we were able to watch the world cup together in English and very reasonable prices for the content
