Accounts with such large follower counts often include a significant number of bots and inactive profiles, which can lead to a lower follow-back rate. Fake followers

Terrible service. I've had my account banned before for using upleap. They said they changed their AI functionality so I gave them another go. All I got was bulk fake followers and kept getting blocked from engaging on anything. When I raised it with them they just offered a discount to stay and recommended I change my settings which I did and got the same fake followers, mostly from other countries.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid

Within minutes of signing up, I noticed an old version of my account populated in their system. I began a chat and was then informed that the kind of account I signed up for didn't include the 10-day free trial (I have returned to their website and still don't see any text that makes that offer exclusive to a specific subscription). I requested a cancellation and refund and was told refunds aren't allowed. THEN, the bad really began to happen. My account has been inundated with fake accounts. I've been spending all my time deleting them manually while demanding they deactivate my account. They STILL haven't deactivated it and it's been 48 hours. And the fake accounts continue to come. In addition, when they sent me a record of my chat, it conveniently deleted the entire segment of the chat that dealt with my request for a refund. Thankfully I had screenshot the entire exchange. They have come back to offer me a 50% refund. Absurd. They are the epitome of a scam.

You get for what you pay for

You get for what you pay for. They are not that bad, is just like every other paying marketing system that is half fake and half real. They are not bad responding, and they are really good at making excuses.
The reality is that I can do this myself, I just don't have the time to do so. I need to grow my stuff, and all I can do is tell them what's wrong and make them accountable to fix in it. Which again, they do half true growth, and half fake growth. It is easy to tell, is not like they are hiding it.
Overall, just like every other paying growth service out there. They are not Ellon Musk or Bill Gate. It is what it is!

Shocking service

Shocking service - its a total scam, do not sign up!!!
I had zero results and only had a load of bots and fake accounts follow my business despite being constantly reassured this wasn't the case. I then cancelled my account and have since been charged twice, i'm still in dispute to receive the refund for this.
I don't often write reviews but genuinely don't want anyone to go through this because it's the biggest waste of time and money.

If I could give 0 stars. I would. I signed up for a trial and quickly realized that the site is garbage... I never connected my account or anything.. I also never received emails or receipts from the company.. Of course they start charging me without doing anything.. I ended up cancelling one day late because I was off on the cancellation date, hence I never received the date I was supposed to cancel. They still charged me even though they did nothing for me. Do not use this service.. You can't even get anyone on the phone and you would be stuck on chat bot all day.. As well as their whole follow and unfollow stuff. Garbage.

As our customer support agent mentioned, we did not receive a request to cancel your subscription nor did we get your updated password. Consequently, when the trial period ended, your subscription was activated automatically.

We sent multiple email reminders regarding the password update, and as you said it yourself, these have ended up in your junk folder.

Your subscription has now been scheduled for cancellation, and you are free to use the service until the end of the billing period.

So far, it’s going well!

I’ve been using Upleap for a few months now and have been seeing steady growth. The real test has been seeing an increase in engagement in posts/reels/stories. This hasn’t been equal to the number of increased followers, but has been definitely steadily increasing too.

I decided to not listen to the bad…

I decided to not listen to the bad reviews and tried upleap. I should have listened! I received 100 new followers and then had to remove every single one because they were all fake. Not one had any real followers and most had names like ig578hrol0vx42. DO NOT DO IT! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

Major Rip Off!

So I paid for 1000 followers twice and then 10000 followers after I saw an increase. There were problems at the beginning. My followers jumped but not to the requested amount. Then things froze. They kept saying they would fix it. Then I started shedding followers. I keep emailing for a refund or at least a replacement guarantee but they tell me I have to prove those I am losing are from them. Huh? Buy at your own risk. If they at least would have offered a partial refund I'd have been fine. Nope just a run around. So don't be stupid like me. Save your dough.

I signed up several months ago

I signed up several months ago, and because of account safety, I did anticipate a slow start to my growth. I asked Kate if there was an issue with taking actions after this seemed to be slower than normal. She reassured me that this was standard, and she blamed poor posting practises by me for the slow growth. I swallowed my pride, and took her word for it. Even though I do get very good engagement from my existing followers, maybe I was the one to blame.

I saw a spike in activity after this conversation, so I assumed that this problem was now being taken care of. Then it went back to nothing. I kept asking what the issue was after another period of inactivity, and basically tried to open a dialogue so that we could work together to finally fix whatever the problem was. There was never anything constructive- their service was working fine, and it must have been me who was at fault (even though the dashboard said otherwise).

I queried it once more. This time, she told me that they had been taken over by another service, and if I signed up with them, she would "personally assist" me. There were a few teething problems with that, but I eventually signed up to the other company. I went back to her and asked if she could now investigate why no actions were taken (well, next to none- 1 or 2 actions per day is technically doing something, but that is certainly not good enough). She told me to talk to the other company instead. I quoted what she had told me before. No, she wasn't going to do it. My last email to her was asking her if I was correct in assuming that I had paid for a service, and no service was given. She didn't reply.

Upleap was supposed to be a reputable company, and I did voice my concerns due to a previous bad experience. I don't like making allegations that people have lied, but this does genuinely seem to be the case. I don't care if they've found a loophole where performing 1 or 2 actions a day constitutes as a growth service- I may as well have done that myself, and because of their (non) actions, my account has suffered. I paid money just to damage my account. That isn't right, and not talking about the issue so that it can be fixed is very poor business practise.

People this service is a total fraud…beware!!!

People this service is a total fraud and scam, I lost 55% USD (thank god I used a 30% discount code otherwise it will be worst).
The next 30 min after I did my payment, people started following me, guess what? ahmad yusaf from Pakistan, 1post, 5000 followers (LOL) and following 30 people... ah I forgot.. NOT PROFILE PICTURE.
All the followers i deleted them, they are crap, fake and bots. this page is a FRAUD! i contacted my "Account Manager" Kate Fernandez and guess what she told me when i asked about the Middle East people. I will copy the answer in here ->

I engage on posts based on your niche and tags on specific locations that you have listed. We do not have control of the followers that you will be getting and whether they will engage or not. The same principle applies when it comes to losing followers, we do not have control if they decide to unfollow you.

After that i invested on Instagram like 50 USD, on 3 pictures with nice content and like real good stuff and i got a lot of likes and a lot of followers, from 60 to 120 like in 3 days. BUT REAL PEOPLE ! From the same niche i need.
I sent them today an email regarding my money back ( because they said they have one money-back policy as but is really hidden on the web page) and guess what.... no one answer. People don't spend your money in this crap, use instagram promotion, maybe it will be expensive but is 100% better and safe, this people sell you something that is not. Upleap Sucks!

offered me a 3-day trial spent a bunch of time signing up imputing my info and they wanted me to pay to begin ................... when I clicked on a 3 day "try it free" link on their website. Shameful waste of time and good thing I didn't signup because the other commenters were blocked working with this same company .. huh.. go figure..

Bot followers unrelated to your niche and non existent 'account manager'

My account was to do with art and had absolutely no followers gained that were anything to do with my niche. All clearly middle eastern bot accounts that unfollow almost as quickly as they follow. Emailed my account manager twice over the course of the month to ask about these questionable methods and got no response at all. I doubt there even is an account manager. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! This service is a total SCAM.

Not much of a company... Pathetic experience.

I bit the bullet and paid for the first month. Within 30 minutes my followers increased by about 20-30 bots! Literally every single one was very obviously a bot! My account manager was just following dozens upon dozens of accounts that belonged to Indians and Seikhs! I contacted my personal account manager on 3 separate occasions over the course of 2 days and heard NOTHING back. I sent a 4th email to the main company, and on the 5th email I stated that I would like to cancel and get a refund, or I would get my refund through PayPal. They refunded me the amount I paid, with a ridiculous explanation about them not having control over who follows and unfollows.
Listen, Upleap, you DO have control over who follows based on the methods you use to gain followers! Clearly your methods are questionable. You are not running much of a company here, seriously.

wasted money

subscribed for $30 plan. and was waiting for 2days for the manager assigned to mr. no reply i messaged them 3 times then i had to unsubscribe . because i got no result. and i was unable to email them as well. such a ripp off. please do not waste your money.
