Bike was severely damaged and not from shipping. Battery pack non functioning. Shifters did not work and frame damage. Obviously no refurbish or QA checks or inspections before shipping

Lost bike with very little help from Upway

Well, let’s start with the fact that I never received the bike! I only get lip-service from your customer care team with no action on locating the bike. They are asking me to forward any details I might receive from my FedEx claim. Pretty sure Upway would have a lot more pull than me as an individual. I feel as though Upway couldn’t care less if this bike is ever found.
Almost spending $6k for a bike and getting this lack of service is completely unacceptable.

We are so sorry for your less-than-stellar Upway experience! This is certainly not the quality that we pride ourselves on providing for our customers.
We do our best to ensure that all of our bikes are shipped smoothly with FedEx, but unfortunately issues can arise during transit and I can see that your bike was lost. While we have submitted multiple requests to FedEx regarding your shipment, this doesn't change the fact that you did not receive the bike that you ordered.
An Upway support agent will be reaching out to you directly to see how we can get this resolved for you as soon as possible.

Purchase

Purchase, delivery, and assembly were easy. Was surprised that safety reflectors, front and rear, were not included. I can find elsewhere but can't think of a bike coming without any. Also, an owner's manual. I can obviously search online and find one, but a link in would have made it easier.

Bike sent was as described and we were…

Bike sent was as described and we were very happy with that. However it wasn't the right bike for my wife so we decided to return it which also went well. I respect and enjoy working with a company that does what they state. We got a good bike and ended up having to return it no fault to them and there was no issues in all of the process. Thank you will look to purchase again without hesitation

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SUPPORT! (Christopher)

I had an excellent customer support experience over the phone with Christopher from Upway yesterday. From the very beginning, he was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to, which immediately made the interaction feel comfortable and stress-free.

What stood out most was how quickly he understood exactly what I needed. There was no back-and-forth confusion—he caught on right away and provided clear, helpful information without wasting any time. His knowledge and confidence really showed, and it made a big difference in resolving my issue efficiently.

Beyond that, the entire experience was just genuinely pleasant. Christopher was patient, calm, and professional throughout the call, and it felt like he truly cared about helping me rather than just getting through the conversation.

Overall, this was one of the smoothest and most positive customer support interactions I’ve had in a long time. Huge thanks to Christopher for making it such an easy and enjoyable experience.

my ebike

First, they make bikes I could not afford affordable, then any question is answered now, not days later, like most experiences we have, most people can take days or weeks. Then you can tell they care and want you to have a great experience; they are just the best of the best.

Peace of mind, good price.

It's early days but I'm pretty happy so far with the refurbished Aventon Abound that I bought from Upway 2 weeks ago -- already put 100 miles on it for school pickup/dropoff. It was easy to assemble out of the box, and I have peace of mind that they fully inspected the bike and battery so I shouldn't have to worry about it breaking down on me any time soon. Would definitely by another bike from Upway again in the future!

Purchase was great

Purchase was great, love the bike and price was fair. The quote for sale back of my Trek e bike was insulting as ultimately sold it for three times their quote. So A on the purchase and F on the quote for resale of my other bike.

not much empathie with my issues

not much empathy with my issues and ad was wrong the bike is not a real class 3 due drivetrain restrictions

We at Upway provide a 12 month Limited Warranty on all bikes sold. More details are outlined on our site, pertaining to what the Limited Warranty offers.

The extent of what we can cover under warranty mainly surrounds defects, and not able to cover any undiscussed upgrades to the bike to match personal preference.

We are limited in what can be offered under warranty, and apologize that we are unable to offer more.

Excellent customer service

Upway kept us informed with shipping information, this was super helpful considering the item was so large. Customer service was available almost immediately on the weekend when we thought we had a disaster! Turned out everything was OK, we had just overlooked some parts. They were kind and helpful, which was much appreciated.
