The best customer service you could ask…

The best customer service you could ask for while supplying a great product that has brought me many smiles to amd from work and with the kiddo who cycles amd I couldn't keep up with. Their customer service though is unmatched from offering a coupon to canceling an order when the description didn't match and allowing me to change and pivot to a different e bike. They are a great company. They delivered a bike that was easy to assemble and worked beautifully.

Great purchase and customer service

I have been interested in an e-bike for a couple of years but the prices seemed rather high for my liking. I checked out upway and could see a fantastic collection of used bikes. Many were used very little. I found the bike I was most interested in as well as fitting my needs. It had been a rental bike and had only been used less than a couple of hundred miles. Most importantly it was half the cost of a new bike. The bike came boxed and easy to assemble. During shipping the lcd screen had been damaged. After a few emails a replacement part was sent directly to me. Prompt service and great prices.

Bike came packaged well but came a week…

Bike came packaged well but came a week late. Someone had put the shipping label on the bottom of the box and it became unreadable due to it being scraped on the floors during transit. Tracking show the bike going around in circles during transit. No owner manuals were provided, not even pdf's. The battery did not have as much storage capacity as listed on the website. I am supposed to be getting compensation but I have not seen it yet.

The bike arrived not rideable

The bike arrived very dirty. Tried to ride it but it wouldn't shift. The chain fell off 3 times. Took it to the bike shop. The battery was dead in the shift derailleur. The derailleur was also bent. The seat dropped post didn't work correctly. Then he found the rear wheel hub bolt was stripped out and couldn't be fixed. Emailed customer support and they are sending parts to fix it and will reimburse me for the rest to fix it but I still haven't been able to ride it and the tech that test rode it and cleaned it- or didn't- should not be working on bikes and certifying them.

From start to finish

From start to finish, I enjoyed choosing and purchasing an e-bike from Upway. The man who delivered my ebike was a super-friendly gentleman. Overall, my experience was top-notch. So far, the ebike has performed perfectly, too.

The bike that arrived was extremely…

The bike that arrived was extremely damaged, scratched up, and I was not happy with the "support" I received from upway. Buyer beware, make sure you carefully review the NON-carousel images. If you don't like the bike there are restocking charges and you have to pay for return shipping.

Came well packed and arrived on time

Came well packed and arrived on time. Bike has only a few blemishes. The tail light is a bit flaky but I normally won't be riding it at night. I didn't know I bought a ladies e-bike until I looked at the owners manual. It would have been nice if that was stated on the specs page of the upway website. I don't see why it couldn't have come common carrier instead of freight and save $150. The front wheel is only one bolt and four allen screws for the handlebar.In fact, if the handlebar was off you wouldn't need to re-align it on the column.

Selling my bike was fairly painless

Selling my bike was fairly painless - aside from assembling the return box - that was terrible. So many of the plastic clips were broken - legit had to use over one roll of packing tape per box. Other than that - it was a great experience selling our bikes with Upway and purchasing new ones. I do recommend!

Sent bike late after damage from…

Sent bike late after damage from shipping. Then bike arrived with wrong parts on front that is clearly not a Rad product. Clearly bike received after 15. day return period. Customer service sucks.

As per our business model, we purchase all of our bikes second hand and initiate a full refurbishment each one. At times parts need to be replaced in order to successfully refurbish a bike. Thus not every bike we sell will come with the same parts as when they are sold new from the manufacturer.

These are details that are shown in our product photos, and are unique to every single bike we have up for sale on our site.

Incredible experience

Incredible experience! The bike was exactly as advised. The bike arrived with a cracked battery and everyone at Upway was kind and understanding. They quickly jump in and revoked the issue. Would highly recommend ordering from them!

Upway delivered as promised

Upway delivered the exact bike as advertised in a giant box that fully protected it. Communication with the company is a clumsy but they are responsive. I admire their ability to create a market niche and build a business that serves the buyer as well.

Sub-level parts swapped onto the bike

Changes were made to the bike that I didn’t fully appreciate. A wheel was swapped out for a sub-grade part, the derailer had “demo” written on it, and pegs and grips were as basic as they come. They put all of these on a Specialized Expert Carbon. It was hard to see these changes in the pictures when I was buying, but definitely disappointing.

Due to all bikes having been preowned, parts are subject to be replaced to improve the overall functionality and reliability of our bikes. All changes are made according to manufacturer's recommendations and guidance.

Overall, we attempt to provide as much visibility into the condition and history of each bike we sell on our site.

Within each page contains a history and inspection report for each bike, detailing what parts were serviced and/or replaced. To provide a clear picture, we take photos of any visible blemishes a bike may have received.

Mind you, we understand that we should improve on how clear and accessible this information is.

Upway was great

Upway was great. The bike as advertised was what it was upon receiving, no surprises. Boxed well for transport with no damages. Upway notified me with all the pertinent information, from point of sale to shipment. The carrier (FedEx) kept me informed of delivery dates.

However one of the main screw/bolts was crushed & There were no screws to attach the basket to the bike that it came with
