My father in law booked a mini bus with this company they cancelled the booking a day before we were due to pick it up he payed 1200 pounds they promised a refund but no refund has been received something needs to be done this is wrong this experience has happened in august still no joy unacceptable to be honest

Gone Out of business.Good company for us was always reliable and met our hire needs.Another good company gone under I guess the cost of living and the present economic climate hit them hard.All the best sincerely

Leaving further review as an update since my previous review last month:
They called immediately to say they would be in touch by the end of the week to arrange a refund - this has never happened.

They have questioned whether my previous review on trustpilot was meant for a different company and I have needed to provide a reference number as proof. This is unprofessional given they have already responded to my previous review, confirming my review is in fact accurate.
This will all be submitted to the small claims court.

I booked a minibus for a wedding in May. The day before it was cancelled. The company gave me alternative number to try as they could not fulfill the order I had paid for - fortunately I was able to book a minibus. I received a refund of the deposit and payment but due to short notice I had to pay over the odd for the minibus I actually used. vanandminibus promised to pay the difference as a goodwill gesture - despite emails and promises going back and forth since May this has not come about. I have not received a reply to my last email and cannot get them on the phone.

Dealings with this company has been nothing but stressful, gone bump leaving many people out of pocket,waiting for contact about trying to recover some funds back ,still waiting for communication

Sad to see they have ceased trading was always very efficient with our hire needs.We really wish them the best as there service was always impeccably sound.Another casualty of the present economic climate

We had a minibus booked for a stag doo in June which was all smooth sailing until we received an email 2 days before drop-off telling us that a head gasket had gone and they had no replacement.
Totally appreciate that things can go wrong with vehicles and out of their control.
what was within their control however was how they handled this,no offer of any help in finding a replacement as it was the queens dubilee weekend there were no vehicles to find again totally out of anyone's control.
This resulted in 4 members of our party having to drive 140 miles which was a big fuel expense plus 4 people could not enjoy the Saturday night out.
The company promised as a gesture of goodwill to refund me for the fuel which only equated to £77 a relatively small amount of money and I provided a receipt.

Sadly after 2 months of promises that the money had left their account and would be in mine 3 days later (4 times) the money has still not shown up!

After the latest round of emails asking what is happening they have simply ignored me and blocked my mobile number from contacting them.

This has to be the worst customer experience I have ever come across in my life.

from the reviews, it seems like I have not been given the same equality of care that the others have received. disappointing to say the least.

My experience with this company was terrible. Booked a van and 1 day before they called cancelling the booking and promising refund in 5-7 working days. This was august and still today after 10 weeks only got 1 deposit of £100 out of £1400 back. I don’t know why they don’t simply refund my money back and I can update this review when they pay, as done previously. But for now I don’t recommend anyone to use this company. I’m not sure the positive reviews here are genuine. If you pay attention to them will notice similar mistakes. Again, if paid I will update here..

Booked a mini bus for family trip in June for 1 week and 2 days before the trip I get a call to say the head gasket has gone and they don't have another vehicle. Ever since been trying to get a refund always been given some kind of excuse. Even agreed to spread the refund payment into multiple smaller payment. Just been strung along saying payment will be in 2 - 3 days for months only to be told by the supervisor last week they have gone into administration and will be in contact soon. When asked who the administrators are he just said I will be contacted in 2 days. 5 Days later still no word from the administrators and phone lines are dead. Scam company

Every single review is fake on here apart from those saying it’s a scam. I booked a minibus last year (October 2021) only to be called up on the day it was due for delivery to say it’s been cancelled. They said I could expect a refund plus deposit return plus the difference in hiring an alternative bus within 5-7 days for the inconvenience. The money never showed up, so I hassled and hassled and phoned and emailed and kept being told various lies and stories on where my money was and they were having ‘banking issues’. Eventually in January this year after thousands of emails and phone calls and a small claims court request AND writing a bad review on here I got offered weekly repayments of £100. I am owed £1230 in total, I have now as of a month ago (and 1 year since I paid for the initial minibus hire) received £1000 return which has not been an easy journey and have just been told the ‘company is going into liquidation’…. Sean if you’re reading this, sorry but I don’t believe you and I’m still owed £230.

Lousy. Could not deliver on the day due to a fault, which has appeared in other reviews! Funny that.
Did return funds but promised compensation did not materialise and now email is de-listed.
Total scam. All reviews are by the same person with the same format so my opinion is that these are totally fake.
Don't bother with these scoundrels...

Excellent service the delivery and collection was extremely convenient and saved us a lot of time.Very courteous people to deal with great family business.Nothing to much to handle and always kept informed. The minibus was cleaned and very comfortable to drive.Full deposit returned in the time frame given and will use them again and certainly recommend

Broken promises and no sign of treating customers fairly. We have to question if all the positive reviews are genuine as our experience is very similar to those on the other end of the scale.
We were informed the day before we were to pick up a vehicle that it has a mechanical issue that can’t be fixed in time. It is bad enough that this seems to be a recurring issue (either hinting at lack of servicing leading to potentially unsafe vehicles, or at some other reason they didn’t want to follow through on the agreement); but they also haven’t returned a single penny so far.
We were promised a full refund as well as compensation for added costs we may incur with a different provider due to the short notice. This was on a recorded voice message informing us of the issue with the car.
Multiple emails have advised us repeatedly that they are looking into the timescales for the refund. We were given specific days for this but 4 weeks have passed and there is still no sign of the refund or any indication that it will ever happen.
We will now proceed with legal action.

Previously left a review in June 22 about our dealings with this company nothing has changed,they started to pay back our deposit of £850 at £50 per week through what looked like a third party it lasted two weeks and we haven’t had anything since,it’will be 12 months in November since we first tried to get our refund.

Paid £1200 in July to hire a minibus for the 4th August for 3 days. On the afternoon of the 3rd of August they sent me an email cancelling my booking. Despite repeated promises to return my money (it will be with you in 5 days) and the promised compensation still waiting...

Excellent service yet again.Minibus arrived clean and on time.Easy to book again and delivery driver was polite showed us round the minibus and all documentation received.Deposit returned at the end.Professional friendly service and very informative.Do recommend will continue to use them.
