Absolute parasites that bring…

Absolute parasites that bring absolutely nothing to society. Parked on a dark evening in an empty small town car park, a town that’s crying out for visitors to boost the dying night time economy. Didn’t see the signs and didn’t think there would be any charges on a Friday Eve until I surprisingly received the £60 fine. Well these insignificant under achievers will never get another penny from me and I won’t be visiting the town again in the future. Well done VCS, a proud company making a real difference….not.

Total Fabricators

Apparently I'm a Time Lord. VCS sent me photographic evidence of my car being arriving on land at 10am and departing at 9am on the same day – Saturday 16th December, whereas in fact it was the other way round: I arrived at 9 and left at 10. I contested this, but they said that the offence carried over onto the 17th, despite their letter only stating the 16th. They weren't having any of it, so I'm now waiting for them to take me to court. I think I might have a long wait ;-)

I got a solicitor letter a few weeks …

I got a solicitor letter a few weeks ago just heard from them saying that the company will accept 60pounds for parking in a private parking space I was only dropping someone off as there was no where to park out the front as work being done I was only 5 or 10min wile the others help get them upstairs I didn't go upstairs as I have bad hips but they said I got to pay 60 pounds just got email from their solicitor also if they don't get the 60 it will go to 160 pounds but sill they want Money I told them when I appeal the ticket I had my disability badge on display but they said that the payment still stands apparently my badge was not on display according to them

Crooks

Absolute crooks! This company started in October enforcing a no stopping area near the local gym I go to on a wider retail park. While granted I had not noticed the new signs I got caught out twice before someone informed me of the signs then the letters came through the post. I paid the 2 £60 fines but then they continued to send me letters saying I had not paid. I then received 2 more penalties which I am adamant they altered the dates and times as the photos were exactly the same as the others. I sent this info back to them and heard nothing more until yesterday when I received a email stating I owe them £170 due to unpaid fines. This is in the Leeds area and I don’t know how to go about sorting this as no one answers the phone. I am very tempted to fight this but as a working man with a young family I cannot afford to risk a CCJ against me. Extremely frustrated and this company should be investigated. I might try go to the land owner/management company of the retail park or even the council. The cost of the fine isn’t the issue it is the principle of the matter that annoys me more.

One of the worst and most unreasonable…

One of the worst and most unreasonable companies I have ever had to deal with. I parked my vehicle in manor park court off manor park way derby at early hours of a December 2022 morning. It was pitch black and took a photo of the private road showing how dark it was and no lights were provided. Furthermore, There were no sufficient lighting provided at the vicinity of where the signs were displayed. I left my vehicle and went to work at Derby hospital across the road. I got a parking ticket. I appealed based on no sufficient lighting provided, yet they responded saying I should have used my headlight but this isn’t my responsibility. They sent me an image a parking warden took of my vehicle and parking signs at clear daylight hours. Furthermore, they did not provide a response to my appeal until a few months later demanding minimum of £170. After numerous emails they proceeded to county court where at last minute they decided to withdraw the case when they actually banged their heads against the wall and woke up to reality. If you have a reasonable excuse then fight them as much as you can, don’t be bullied by their letters demanding extortionate payment.

Report them to Trading Standards and Police for Fraudulent practice!

I hope this review can help others in a similar situation to one I faced recently. My alleged offence took place during the day on November 30, 2023, between 15:40 pm and 6:00 pm. I received a fine for an alleged infringement in Abbey Walk Car Park, Selby, North Yorkshire during this time period, however, I was not present at the location during the specified hours. I was actually at home working. I did use the car park twice that day and the captured footage was me and my car, I accept that. However, I entered once for a few minutes and left, and then entered again hours later for an equally short time. VCS, however, have used the footage of me on the first and very last occasion, making it look like I was in the car park for many hours.

It has come to my attention that the ANPR system employed by these criminals, in capturing number plates operates on a first in, last out basis. This methodology, however, seems to disregard the possibility of citizens visiting a location multiple times in a single day. Consequently, I find myself having been falsely accused and fined due to what appears to be a flawed and what I would consider
fraudulent process.

I have appealed the fine through all channels offered, but each and every time it has been rebuffed as not sufficient and I found myself heading to a CCJ which I can ill afford to have on my credit file.

I have reluctantly paid the fine!!

Subsequently, I have now reached out to the North Yorkshire Police force and I urge anyone reading this to do the same, if you have had a similar experience. I am deeply concerned that this flawed process may be affecting a huge number of the general public who, like myself, are being wrongly fined due to the limitations of the ANPR system. If my suspicions are correct, this could potentially amount to a criminal practice, leading to the unjust imposition of fines on innocent individuals.

Vehicle Control Services and Excel Parking Services are sub human in the way they treat people and they are operating on a very thin line which I believe them to cross and lurch into malpractice. Please report them!

SLIME OF HUMANITY

Being taken to court for turning round by a barrier outside the Hampton hotel whilst trying to find the collection point, outside of their no stopping zone. An obsurd situation. Although I will win in court against these bottom dwelling pond scum, it will take time and energy I can Ill afford at present. I've never felt an emotion like this where my blood is boiling with cortisol. These people are criminals and belong in jail. Vile con artists who will stop at nothing to get money out of innocent people.

No point in appealing

Having been stuck on the seven Bridge for 3 hours because of high winds while taking my Grandson to get a flight to Bristol airport to see his mum for Christmas ,he had 4 minutes to spare before the gate closed he jumped out it took 5 seconds ! My wife desperately needed the toilet after being in the car for four hours and have a medical condition that causes her a Lot of pain ! i dropped her moved to a suitable place to wait we Therefore I incurred three Charge notices £60 each ! I believed that these were Extenuating circumstances but had my appeals denied but don't really understand why the drop down Menu refers to urgent stop for the toilet and medical conditions what a total waste Of time !
You can’t talk to a Person which makes
Me Think they know they are in the wrong and are to cowardice to speak to
People ! I hope the people that work there don't ever come across one
Of their family members who can ill Afford these payments its so
Upsetting. I have paid all
Of these fine one is currently pending and Im Hoping that they take it before Im Charged extra i have tried to
Sort it out but no way to do so

I am trying to appeal and I'm wondering…

I am trying to appeal and I'm wondering if it is a scam or not? I was doing a pick up one evening (when it was dark) at Bristol airport - the traffic was bad so I arrived later than planned so pulled in to collect 3 passengers - then I get a letter charging me £100 - saying that it was my second letter - it was the first. I've tried to appeal but they said that I have to pay as the place I pulled in to was clearly marked - not at night it wasn't..... am so frustrated, it's such a lot of money...

Absolute shysters -

Absolute shysters -sent me a parking fine for parking in a Public Parking bay. When I appealed they said they had no cctv evidence that I had parked there but still wanted £100, still appealing. Absolutely despicable company!

BEWARE at Bristol Airport..£100 fines…

BEWARE Bristol Airport..4 am ..missed the turnoff for Silver zone ...travelled a short way around the airport until my way was blocked by a moving white camera van then a barrier ,
I did a 3 point turn ,retraced my route without stopping and found my car park.. 2 weeks later ..£100 "fine" from VCS... Nothing less than an extortion industry.. Shame on EASYJET parking for not warning me of these theives..

Absolutely shocking company

Absolutely shocking company. How they are still allowed to run is beyond me. I have received 4 parking charge notices which I am appealing as I have proof that I could park there. While appealing online it wouldn't let me upload my proof of parking and when I eventually managed to get through to actual people they're extremely rude, unprofessional and put the phone down.

Iv hoped for court and my lawyers will be very expensive big law firm from Nottingham used my blue badge I pulled over to check flight was on time and not in a red zone at EMA and now I get letters from Elms Legal at Sleford Lincs so to day I rang my lawyer explained everything and the bill will be expensive to them ….they are nothing but criminals with threats ..

Good outcome

If you get a parking charge invoice from VCS/Excel take your complaint to the landowner. We complained to East Midlands Airport as they rejected the appeal. After conversing with the airport customer service manager he intervened and today we got confirmation that due to the appeals handler making a mistake, basically not reading the actual facts, being dismissive and unprofessional, they admitted they had got it wrong, apologised and cancelled the "charge" immediately. They also offered to make a donation of £60 to a charity of our choice. This could have been avoided if they had read the actual facts. Whilst I'm still not impressed with their operation I do appreciate the gesture and that they admitted they were wrong. Appeal, if rejected complain to the landowner, they have the right to override these "charges".

Very cross disabled woman

We were going on holiday on 23 June 2023 flying from Leeds/Bradford airport. We rang the car parking company we were booked in with at the time they requested before our arrival. The man on the phone said you need to go this way and then turn left. All not very clear which made us enter the incorrect zone (which we did not realise until we rang our parking company again). He said we would have to pay to get out, I asked him how much which he told us was £6. He agreed that if we gave him the money he could then take our car out of the zone and park it at their parking base. When we returned from holiday and as I am walking with a walking stick we told the company we would meet the driver in the same spot we had dropped off the car. He finally arrived with our car and we paid £6 to get back out which appeared to work fine.
We have now been hit with a £100 parking fine for stopping in a zone that is prohibited. I have paid the £60 which it stated we could pay if paid within 14 days. This was one of the cons as we didn’t receive the notice until Wednesday 12 July and had to pay by 18 July which is only 6 days. This hasn’t given us time to appeal against the charge and I have tried ringing various telephone numbers but nobody answers it is just a stupid message that is no help at all. I have tried to use their website and to go through the appeals process but that doesn’t get you anywhere, it’s all a big con and they are a set of crooks. I might add the three photos they took of our car shows us moving and not actually parked. Beware of going into the wrong zone as you can’t turn round once you realise that you have gone wrong.
What we can’t understand is that we gave our driver the £6 to get out of the zone and we also paid the £6 to get out on our return.

Not interested in humans just the money

Not only do we now need to pay to drop friends and family at airports around the country it appears we also aren't allowed to stop to check where we should be without having to pay a fine. First time at East Midlands Airport retrieving kids that should have flown back to Gatwick. Following sat nav and with traffic behind panicked and entered the wrong lane. Stopped on a side road to try and work things out, off the main carriageway and next to a skip where there were no red lines, and a charming man (not) found great pleasure in telling me I would be receiving a fine. Not an ounce of compassion!

Appeal declined: The signs at the entrance to the East Midlands International Airport and the access roads within, clearly state "No Stopping", giving clear notice that the land is private property and that a Charge of £100 will be levied if vehicles do stop. The above detailed vehicle stopped in a zone where stopping is prohibited and the driver became liable to pay that Charge.
In your appeal you have confirmed to us that on the date in question, you stopped your vehicle on the access road, which is an area where stopping is not permitted.
A review of our CCTV evidence has confirmed that on the date in question, your vehicle stopped for an unreasonable amount of time on the access road where restrictions apply.

INTERESTINGLY the photos they sent cover less than a minute! TOTALLY unreasonable.

Parking Ticket..what parking ticket!

Along with many others it would seem, I received a demand of £100 for ignoring previous demands for non payment of a parking fine that I was not even aware of! No parking ticket left on my car, no previous communications until I got a FINAL DEMAND for ignoring previous communications ...YES, being fined for not paying a parking fine that I had not even received!
I appealed but was told my appeal was not granted, but they would down the £100 to £60 if I paid it...NO I am not...
I am not giving up. I have now gone to Trading Standards Appeal.
