Very helpful advice from VOLTBIKES.co.uk; having had a chat with Leith Cycle Company, Edinburgh. They were very generous with their time when I tried two Volt Bikes; the first I was not so happy, and went on to choose Volt Pulse.
Also Leith Cycle Comp were most helpful with their advice and going over various matters when I went to collect the Pulse from them.
Also I very much like your VOLT PRINTED USER MANUAL - which includes a servicing guide in a very practical way....Thank you.

Friendly and helpful staff at Volt Bikes. I was able to do a test ride. Ordering and timing were all good and reasonable. They even coordinated a pick-up at a different shop. Would highly recommend this shop!

The Volt Connect has given me a new lease of life; following retirement, I'm clocking up the miles. A joy to ride and the pedal assist a treat on the hills. I bought an ex display/demo bike and really happy with my purchase - seamless from start to finish.

I absolutely love my Kensington Volt bike! It feels so lovely to ride, very comfortable the basket is sooo great to have!

After speaking with a bike specialist I’ve even put a child seat on the back as the child and seat weight less than 25KG they advised me they felt it was safe and it’s made cycling with my little one so incredible. ( I would do your weighing and speak to specialist before doing this to be sure)

It makes light work out of hills, even super steep hills are very doable!

I’ve honestly never been more happy with a purchase it’s brought a lot of joy!

The only thing that will take a bit of getting used to is there’s very minimal suspension and as a girl who lives in a city with cobbles, potholes and speeds bumps you do feel them but so far I’ve found standing up to go over them helps.

Still wouldn’t stop me having this bike though!

Brilliant service bought an Alpine 2 years ago has been outstanding value coolest looking bike. The customer service from these fellas has been outstanding. I think the bike is running well and when it’s been serviced runs on another level.😎

From the ability to test any of their products in their showroom in London, to the abilityt o follow up with local bike shops that service VOLT, it's been an easy experience through and through. I've had the bikes for about 3 weeks now and have well over 100km on them to date and have been really pleased across the board.

This company went above and beyond to ensure l got the perfect bike to fit my needs. Kevin talked me through everything and was so patient with me when I was undecided about what bike to go for. I rate their bikes 10/10 and their customer service 10/10 also. Thank you Team Volt You are Amazing 👏

Brought my bike 8 years ago. Every Spring it fires in to action despite not really being cared for. This year I dropped it (again) and dislodged the sensor. Took it back to VOLT who put the sensor back in place, rewired the lights, full service including new chain and hub, front brakes and brake cable and a clean. Came back as new. All for under £200. Great bike, great company

This is my 2nd Volt ebike. The Pulse I bought did 8k miles but is now worn out. My Connect bike is excellent apart from the retracting stand which sticks out from the bike too far and my left heel constantly hits the stand.
My wife's Pulse does not cause this or my first bike. The design of the fixing to the frame needs amending on the Connect.

Lovely Regent e-bicycle which is easy to use. I had to change the seat post to be able to fit the Buddyrider for my dog. Missing a bottle holder option but otherwise great bicycle. Efficient way of getting bicycle and excellent support for questions.

Ordered by Hub and Spoke cafe. Rob offered us a drink while he fetched us some folding bikes to view and try. Which we were interested in. Had great service by Rob and VOLT in purchasing 2 Metro LS bikes.

I recently purchased the Metro through the Cycle to Work scheme, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience and the product itself.

From the start, the process was smooth and straightforward. Volt’s support team was very helpful in coordinating everything through the scheme. The Metro itself is solidly built, stylish, and surprisingly powerful for a compact folding model.

On the road, it performs exceptionally well. The pedal assist is smooth and intuitive, making hills and longer commutes much more manageable. The folding mechanism is easy to use and feels sturdy, making it ideal for storing at home or at the office. It strikes the perfect balance between portability and performance.

Battery life has also exceeded my expectations. A full charge lasts well through my weekly commutes, and the charge time is reasonable. It feels like Volt has really thought about the needs of city riders.

Overall, I’m genuinely impressed with the bike's quality and the convenience of purchasing it through the Cycle to Work scheme. The Volt team are brilliant - cheers, Kevin!

The Metro has completely transformed my commute, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and fun way to get around London.

Exactly what I was looking for. The mid motor belt drive is so quiet and smooth. Great fun and great value.

We booked a Volt Bike trial at Kinross . Met with Mark Sinclair of Sinclair Cycles , located in part of the old steading at Loch Leven Larder . Mark talked us through the bike and set us off on a ride round his bike track . Twice round we stopped 100 metres short of the bike shop and I asked my wife what she thought? She said she loved it . We went back to the shop , bought the Regent . Picked it up 2 days later , my wife still loves the bike and so do I . Take a demo and see what you think 🤔. Worked for us . Great bike and not as complicated as some we have tried out . So Very Happy 😃

Volt Metro LS - collected 05/04/25
Delivery took quite a long time. Despatched 25/03, delivered to local bike shop 05/04 - courier kept trying to deliver when the shop was shut!
The bike is very nice to ride, but the battery on/off switch has worked only intermittently from day 1.

Update 14/04 - I took the battery to Adam at local agents 4PlayCycles in Cockermouth this morning.
His magic fingers seemed to make the battery turn on and off every time!
The required method is one short press for on, sustained firm pressure for about 4 seconds for off.
It seems I wasn't pressing firmly enough!
Update 14/08. Range - the claimed 50 miles seems reasonable. Just done 50 moderately hilly miles (2500ft of ascent) on LOW setting. 1 light still showing on battery, but 2 bars still showing on handlebar display.

The bike is brilliant. I experienced quite a few delays in getting it delivered which was frustrating.
