Would highly recommend volt bikes they are one powerful bike! And amazing battery to boot And delivery of bike is very quick and easy would definitely recommend them to friends and my local bike shop tav cycles helped me on choosing this fantastic bike

I received excellent service at every point of contact I had with Volt. I don't live in London and the delivery of my bike was affected by weather and illness, but they kept in contact so I knew what was happening. If I contacted them, they responded very quickly.
And the bike is brilliant - I love it!

Just purchased my Volt metro from Birdie Bikes in Hampton after months of research. Although the Metro was probably more then I intended to spend at £1,799, it stood out from the competition with its specification and made in UK, I had concerns that my arthritic hip would be an issue as I found my 26” wheel bike painful to ride, no such problem, sitting position was so much better and power assist made cycling a breeze. I’ve only done a few miles but what a quality bike and quality service I’ve received. Thank you Birdie /Volt

My husband and l have just purchased the Pulse and the Burlington models. We cannot find anything negative to say about them. They allow us to enjoy cycling once again without the fear of hills. Thank you

The delivery was great, and the bike is really good as expected. Due to where I live the bike was delivered directly to me rather than through a local bike shop. The rear tyre has a slow puncture that I'll have to repair, though. Hence only 3 stars.

Quality build of my Metro is superb, its a bit on the heavy side but you can see the quality, had to remind them that they promised a free lock but they kept their word and supplied it via DPD, still did not get the bungie straps but hey ho 😉 did not detract from the quality of the bike.
Now looking forward to the better weather to get the most out of my bike.

Ordered online after popping into an agents (for Volt) bike shop. Great customer service from the agent. Phone call the next day from Volt confirming the order and correct items ordered. 2 days later the bikes were delivered to us by the agent whom had done a complete “check over” before delivery. Great customer service. So far we are loving the bikes and have had no issues whatsoever.

Great service from volt and my local pick up store Langsett cycles as I was purchasing via my workplace cyclescheme which was not straight forward. Communication was excellent through out. Bike is great too!

Easy to order online, but also very helpful when i rang with a payment query. Order shipped quickly to my local shop who completed the build and set up. Very happy with the product I ordered.

I have bought the Kensington volt bike and I love it. Not only does it look good but its a comfy smooth ride too. Also this was one of the few companies who make a small frame pretty electric bike.

Picked up our daughters new Pulse LS from John at Ross Cycles in Newry NI,couldnt have been better taken care of,John explained all the ins and outs of the bike so we came away fully informed,nice straightforward man to deal with, whilst we live a fair bit away from Ross cycles we will make this our first port of call should we consider another(which we are!) thanks John,a quick word about Volt itself, i have found them responsive and helpful,a good company to deal with ,special thanks to Mathilde who has been so nice and helpful

I didn’t want to leave a review for my bike straight away as I thought it would be better to wait until the bike has been broken in a bit to get a proper feel for it. I’ve now had my Volt Pulse Hybrid Bike for around 6 months and I feel now would be appropriate for me to give my thoughts.

Firstly, let me say that the team at Volt were very helpful in the ordering process and answered all my queries regarding the bike and the cycle to work scheme fully and clearly. The delivery of the bike was very quick and was communicated effectively.

I ride my bike to work and back 5 days a week alongside popping home at lunch. In total this is a 3 miles round trip twice a day. According to google this is an 80ft incline and 95ft decline. The bike makes this journey a breeze and I have no problem with any of the hills I have to climb. I do switch to the highest assistance mode for the hills but do the rest of the ride in normal setting. I’m a bit heavier so with this taken into account this means that after a week of rides the battery (XL version) needs recharging. I’d have thought the larger battery would achieve closer to the 80-mile estimate than 30 miles in reality. The charger for the bike is easy to use but it does take nigh on 3-4 hours to fully charge.

The components of the bike are all good quality components but even now the brakes still sound like they are trying to stop a train even with the lightest of touches. The pedals feel like they grind a bit as I peddle but I’ve not investigated this yet so not sure of the cause.

I am currently on circa 330 miles according to the odometer but the service light has come on. Having flicked through the manual, one part says to service the bike every 500 miles and another part says to service it once a year or every 1000 miles. Whichever comes first. The light function of the bike from the cycle computer requires a long press to turn it on but I have to do this at least 3 times before the light actually comes on. Finally, recently sometimes the battery seems to require 2 long presses to turn on.

With all this bared in mind I would rate the bike somewhere near the 6/10 mark. The quality of the bike is decent enough but the aspects I’ve listed above make it so it doesn’t seem to live up to the price tag.

Fantastic ebike . Very happy so far

The delivery of my bike was spot on,at all times I was kept informed of delivery dates etc.
The guys in Hythe bike shop were more than helpfull, which is the main reason that I went there in the first place.
Sadly due to covid I have not really ridden it since I collected it.On the road to recovery so looking forward to clocking up lots of miles on it.Mike Bond

Bought for my wife as a Christmas present, she loves it, first ride today. I’m surprised and disappointed that the front light is on a bracket on the near side of the forks, instead of where it legally should be on the offside or central. The rear light although probably legal is tiny and not very visible in daylight in modern traffic conditions. Other than these points I’m pleased with it
