Absolutely top service from this company. I had an issue with my fan, which I purchased in 2024 with a 3 year warranty (only cost £9.99!). I contacted the company and they replied same day and next day agreed to replace the fan. The replacement arrived today, 3 days after I raised the issue. No quibbling, just excellent service

I have two of their fans and they are the best ones I have ever bought. They heat up really quickly when it is cold and their cold air is cold, not just pushing round the hot air in the room. I am very happy to recommend this fabulous company and will definitely be buying more of these fans

If you do buy from this company, use a credit card so you can do a chargeback. It’s the only way you’ll get anything from them. I ordered a cooling/heating fan for a future delivery date.
Of course, the date came and went without delivery. They don’t answer the phone, don’t reply to emails or via the “contact us” on the website. Utterly useless.
They say they’re a small family company. If they are they need to stop now before more customers are scammed of their money.
When I ordered in July they had mostly good reviews. Since then something has gone badly wrong. I only got my refund by doing a chargeback through my credit card, thank goodness I used it or I’d have lost £140.00

Customer Service is appalling after a few emails they just ignore you. Mr Jules the apparent founder sends out irrelevant emails and certainly does not read your email awful company. They don’t even comply with the regulations of your rights to return your items. I waited for over Two weeks before I had enough and decided to write a review product maybe good but service is awful would not recommend this company

i ordered the fan on 16th July and not received it yet (25th august today) i have called and waited in 25 min queue only for when get to my turn an auto voicemail said send email then hung up… i have written 4 times and not had a response…. i am now told its been shipped that was over a week ago and when looking at shipping company they said they are still waiting to receive it themselves…. i would advise you stay well away

Don’t waste your money if you’re buying this to cool a room

If you want a heater, the Vortex Air Pro is fine. If you want a cooling fan, I would seriously recommend looking elsewhere.

I paid around £140 for this as a more affordable alternative to a Dyson, largely because it was advertised as both a heating and cooling fan. Unfortunately, the cooling performance is extremely disappointing. It’s noisy, doesn’t noticeably cool the room and the airflow itself is surprisingly weak.

To add to this, after just one week the temperature button on the remote stopped working. Every other button still works, but you can no longer adjust the temperature using the remote, so you have to get up and change it manually on the unit itself.

I contacted the company several times to explain my concerns and asked whether I could return it and potentially upgrade to their latest model. Despite sending several emails, I never received a response.

Months later, I’m left with a £140 fan with a partially faulty remote that is useful as a heater but, in my experience, pretty useless when it comes to cooling.

The reason I’ve given this a one-star review is down to both the product itself and the customer service, or rather, the complete lack of customer service. Had the company responded and tried to resolve the issues, my review may have been very different.

When the next heatwave arrives, save your money and look elsewhere, or pay the extra for a better-quality fan. I bought this hoping it would be a good-value alternative to a Dyson. Unfortunately, it simply hasn’t lived up to what it claims to do.

Bought a portable air conditioner unit
Went faulty with in 2 weeks got in touch with vortexair very helpful they arranged collection of said item and got a full refund today after a couple of emails, not a bad company at all.

Ordered a fan in June, I got a dispatch order and after two weeks, nothing. I had to chase it and they informed me my order had never left the warehouse, a mistake on their part, things can happen and I understood because of the heatwave, probably a lot of orders. Got promised it would be prioritised, great. We are at the end of August, still no order received.I had to chase it all this time, nothing from them unless I sent an email and it’s all excuses and “delays”. All I got offered was a £20 refund the first time I contacted them to chase it. 2 months since I placed my order and nothing. Absolutely appalling. Will never order from them again.

Scammers!!!
My water machine was collected from me a several weeks ago. I didn't have any communication since then! So NO money back,no water machine. Customer services are not replying up on my emails, call centre making you wait God knows how long and then cutting you off. I would not recommend them to anyone!!! Avoid!!

SCAMMERS DO NOT BUY!

The fans don’t work. They don’t answer the phone and they don’t answer emails. I’ve been waiting almost 3 months now to return my goods and receive a refund.
Criminal behaviour and something should be done about them.

28th Aug - Instead of replying to my review which you seem to find time to do, please reply to my request for a return (as per your policy) and refund my money. However, going on my experience with you, I'm sure I'd spend another few months waiting for that refund if I got it at all! So I'm reluctant to return your items until I've recieved my refund - which you're not going to agree to, so I'm stuck!

As with lots of people on here Vortex are shocking. Vortex took the money from Klarna on 17th July heard not a word.
Customer service phone calling is a disgrace kept on hold for 30mins twice to be cut off.

Did'nt get much more joy from emailing
Heard nothing for 5 weeks to be told today it is being shipped.

Contacted Klarna yesterday to report the issue today they said l having nothing to pay issue sorted.
So why are Vortex saying it will be delivered!!!!

Have told Vortex l will not accept it IF IT DOES COME.

Accepted that it was on back order
However delivery promises come and go without any explanation from this company We are simply being fobbed off whilst they sit with customers money in the company’s bank account

I think that after loading the container aboard in China this may constitute

Trading Standards Agency

Ordered in June never received customer service ignored e mails. Tried to ring left message for call back ignored fan never arrived and no refund so did chargeback with my bank.

Appalling service. I’ve just spent 30mins waiting on the phone constantly being told to stay on the line because my call is important, to get to No1 in the queue and be given an automated message to email in and then cut off! This is me trying to track a fan ordered around 6 weeks ago that I was told was sent to courier on 18 Aug but hasn’t. DX comms are no better and tracking is all but useless.
If I don’t hear back asap then I will cancel the order and ask my credit card company to get my money back.
Absolutely appalling way to treat customers.

Purchase elsewhere!

It maybe a good product but I wouldn't know as I still haven't received it, 2months after ordering. Customer services just fob you off via email. Don't bother trying to call as phone lines disconnect. The customer service is non-existent despite their claims that feedback is important.

This company may have a great marketing strategy but it's pointless if they're unable to fulfill their orders, as seems to be the case. Avoid

Ordered a fan back in July. Still not received. Delivery was supposed to be 14th August seems like it was a fake courier email as when i try to track it nothing comes up. Really disappointed please avoid . It genuinely looked like a good company but seems like they could not take the load on .

Well, what can or cant say about this company, especially what they call customer service, worst experience from them, they love using the words it should be, it could be, hopefully it will be

Employ more staff if you cant cope with the demand

Stop taking further orders if you cant cope with the outstanding orders you have now

The live chat is not live…”we’ll get back to within 24 hours” is not live! Emails are ignored or answered very very slowly with cut and paste responses

Incredibly quick next day delivery eith updates regarding time expected.
Machine looks sleek. Easy to follow instructions so very quick set up. Easy to empty even for someone like me with mobility limits. Couldn't believe how effective it is at lowering humidity and genuinely helping my breathing health issues. Love the digital humidity reading so I know when the room is back yo healthy levels. Wish I'd bought one earlier in the heatwave. Would have made life much more bearable!

Absolute scam company. I purchased a fun heater and received incorrect information about a delivery date. That was never going to be made a week later. I got an email from the courier. Which state is that they still hadn't received?The item from the vendor. Throughout all of this process, no contact from vortex air, the phone is off. Most of time, and i've just waited thirty minutes on hold with the silly music just for it to terminate and say, send an email. This company has not email me back. As per, it's 48 hours timeline, and they still haven't contacted me in any way to let me know what's happening with my delivery. On top of this, they are such shady scammers that the next day they reduced the product by forty pounds selling at £100 so that they could scam more customers and not dispatch the product as they do not have any in stock. I have been miss sold a product that they were never able to send out as they had done.And at the same time, they want to retain the money and not contact the customer or reply to the customer.This is so deeply frustrating!
