Having the connection to a knowledgeable real person and being able to explain what was required and them understanding that and designing a system to do the work.

From start to finish, it was easy to create the system, adjust the product sizes myself to then create the ideal system for me and my van, giving idealistic figures for off-grid camping.
Delivery was amazingly quick and the battery turned up from the manufacturer the day after delivery of the rest of the products.
Installation is super easy with the wiring diagram given by Vunked and is written in a way that makes the most sense and so simply.

My only negatives of the process are that there is not a reference to different makes and models of vehicles for certain parts of the installation. For example, when installing the B2B system, the wiring diagram shows the 2 cables to the started battery should be connected directly to the battery, however after much time on the internet, it has become apparent that the negative should go to the earth on the chassis as opposed to the negative on the battery.
Not an issue, an easy fix but means a bit more work to get a connection to the chassis and a different lug size. My second issue is that there is not much help with the set up of the products and also because of the make and model, they don’t take in to account the use of smart alternators, which means i am now fighting the B2B to get the engine to charge the leisure battery.
Not enough to give a rubbish review but enough to loose one star as i definitely think that a model specific wiring plan does need to be implemented and maybe a lot more help with the set up and helping to understand the settings more.

As someone new to camper van conversions, I felt like the most technical and after reading way to much felt even more confused on what I wanted. After researching various options, I chose Vunked for their complete camper van electrical kits, and I’m genuinely glad I did.

Their website was incredibly user-friendly, especially the system builder tool, which helped me customise my setup based on my van’s needs and my off-grid goals. The kit arrived with everything I needed — no guesswork, no mismatched parts, and no last-minute dashes for forgotten fuses or wires, I did have one connector missing and this was sent in days, so great back up service. The personalised wiring diagram was a game-changer, making installation clear and manageable even for a novice like me.

What really stood out was their customer support from Sam, I had a few questions during the install, and Sam responded quickly and helpfully. It felt like they genuinely interested about my build. The instructions were clear after completing and switching on, all worked perfectly first time. The quality of the components was excellent — solid, reliable, and well thought out.

I now have a fully functional electrical system powering my lights, fridge, and USB ports, and I feel confident in its safety and performance. Vunked took the complexity out of camper van electrics and replaced it with clarity and confidence, they certainly are not the cheapest however, id rather by one and well rather thank cheap and twice. If you’re building a van and want a smooth experience, I’d absolutely recommend them.

Vunked were brilliant from start to finish. As a beginner to van electrics, I felt supported at every step, from a chat about what I wanted and needed to sensible advice that saved me money. I’d budgeted more, but after the meeting it cost less; that’s how genuine they are. Their pre built board is superb, neat, clearly labelled, truly plug and play, saving me hours and giving me confidence. They replied quickly and checked in afterwards. Originally we struggled to find someone to help us and most places were set up and design for houses. Then Vunked popped up whilst doom scrolling and thought it was worth a message as we were building a 8m x 4m cabin. After an initial call and chat, Sam had created a package for us. Ordered it a week or so later and then we installed it a few months later. I probably contacted them once or twice a week with a question and they always helped. But the system is now installed. It took a bit of figuring out as we have no knowledge of solar or electrics and we did it over a few evenings after work but its up and running. We have had a few questions since and they are still happy to help.

Very happy with our experience with Vunked so far. The website is great to have an idea of what we needed and then we had a call with Sam who helped go over everything and discuss what we might need and he was very honest with what we probably wouldn’t use. Then we were very happy with the cost of everything as we had been quoted much higher by other companies trying to upsell. Whereas Vunked and Sam were very up front, honest and value oriented. I’ve already been emailed to say the parcel is on its way, so I’m very excited for everything to arrive :)
