Service, quality and reliability.

I have bought an Omega after having exchanged some mais with management. I was properly and quickly assisted and once decided to purchase the watch arrived very fast, in exact conditions as described by the shop. Very good experience in any step of the deal.

Alles in allem professionell

Der Ablauf war gut, der Erlös geringer als erwartet, die Erstattung lief über einen extra Dienstleister in USA, WAS, nachdem die Geldanforderung endlich wegging, einwandfrei funktionierte. Der Service war n diesem Fall bescheiden.

A well thought out integrated process throughout the transaction, from valuation to final payment. My customer service had excellent knowledge with regular communication throughout.

Reassuring 5* service

Purchased an exceptionally priced Breitling Superocean at 12.30pm on Thursday 1st December 2022 via bank transfer. Despite my initial concerns, watch with box, papers was received, very well packaged at 7.54am via UPS on Friday 2nd December. Thomas Rickard provides 5* service. I have bought many watches from several other major online retailers, but none were as attentive to detail as this experience. Will buy again for sure.

I can’t even justify the one star…

I can’t even justify the one star of the service and experience with Watchmaster.

I initially put my put my Patek Philippe up for sale with Watchmaster in 2020. After agreeing to the sales price; I was assured at numerous occasions that the watch would be sold quickly with there wide client base.
The watch was then put up for £2k less than the agreed price. After numerous calls and emails to find out why this was the case. I got no response and on numerous occasions I was promised a call back with no follow up.

Fast forward 1 1/2 years later! (This is a company that promises to sell your watch in 45 days) I receive and email advising that Watchmaster Berlin had experienced a robbery and that my watch had been affected. They refused to state if it’ll my watch had been damaged or stolen.
They could not supply me any more information.

Flash forward a week, I get an email advising that they are going into insolvency and that they have in fact lost my watch. They also stated that they ‘assume that the filing for insolvency will not have any impact on the insurance claim’.

I am out of pocket of a £20k watch and they refuse to acknowledge or accept responsibility for what has happened.
They are also advising that I claim on personal insurance for something that happened under there care.

The above leaves me under the impression that this has been a total scam by a company that is out to extort people trying to sell precious goods.

I can assure you this is no scam. There is plenty of press online detailing the robbery at the vault we used and unfortunately your watch was indeed stolen.

We are doing everything we can to firstly ensure we can bring the matter to a resolution as swiftly as possible and indeed to provide our customer who have entrusted us with the their assets a meaningful update on next steps. Our fundamental objective is to find a route to make this right, and I think I speak for the entire team when I say we too want to understand that resolution. Pratiques frauduleuses

Selon communiqué reçu de Watchmaster, la société est insolvable et sous administration judiciaire depuis quelques jours! Pourtant elle n’honore pas les demandes de retrait de vente de ses Clients alors que ce cas est un motif valable selon le contrat de vente. Malgré plusieurs demandes, Watchmaster ne m’a toujours pas retourné ma montre. A fuir.

La demande d'insolvabilité en cours n'a aucune influence sur la vente de votre montre. Notre objectif est d'exécuter régulièrement votre contrat et de vendre votre montre conformément au contrat de commission.
Si Watchmaster devait cesser complètement ses activités, la montre vous serait restituée.
Les marchandises en commission ne font pas partie de la masse de la faillite.
Actuellement, nous sommes légalement tenus de n'autoriser aucune circulation de marchandises dans l'établissement jusqu'à ce que le protocole de sécurité soit rétabli et validé par l'assurance. Cela devrait être à nouveau possible dans les prochains jours. Avec nos meilleures salutations

I paid for a watch and they are keeping the watch and my money as well. Either send me the watch or my money back, otherwise you are no different from the thieves that stole from you.

Hello everyone,
I have recently made a purchase of a watch on the 16 of November 2022. This watch was NOT one of the watches that got recently stolen. Now they send me an email, that they are keeping the watch and they are keeping the money I paid as well, since they filed for bankruptcy on the 29 of November at 12:33 O'clock - according to the German Insolvenz official public documents. I have bought the watch before this ordeal happened and clearly you can not keep the watch you sold and the money as well. This is not how a binding contract works. Either send the watch or my money back.

Secondly to add even more insult to injury. They also keep my second watch, which they are trying to sell by commission. If someone else buys this watch for example like I did with the other one, are you keeping their money and my by now two watches for yourself as well? Tell me how is this behavior different from the thieves that stole from you? You sell me a watch and then you keep the watch and keep the money. Please explain how?

Asking kindly for a resolution. There is no way you are keeping a watch you sold under a binding contract and the money as well and never sending the watch or the money back. If you are going to resell it again to some poor soul with this same scheme, then that is just really bad behavior from you.

Review will stand unless you resolve this problem.

CONTRAT DE DEPOT-VENTE WATCHMASTER

Dépôt de ma ROLEX DAYTONA chez MMC, 9 rue MARBEUF à PARIS, le 18.07.22, avec document de remise en mains propres remis par Mme MAMAN Sarah, représentant WATCHMASTER IPC GmbH et MMC.
Le 25.11.22, un mail me demandant de toute urgence de compléter mes informations personnelles pour les besoins de transmettre les bonnes informations à l'assurance puis un message vocal qui j'ai pris le soin d'enregistrer de mon contact chez WATCHMASTER qui me fait part du vol de ma montre.
Ce même jour, après mettre entretenu directement avec mon contact chez WATCHMASTER, celui me fait part que la gendarmerie allemande récupère toutes les information nécessaires pour que les clients soient indemnisés au titre de l'assurance WATCHMASTER.
Le 30.11.22, je reçois le mail suivant:
"Nous sommes au regret de vous informer aujourd'hui que Watchmaster ICP GmbH en Allemagne a déposé une demande d'insolvabilité afin de placer la société sous la protection des créanciers et d'assurer les activités futures de l'entreprise."
La situation étant inquiétante, après plusieurs tentatives, je finis par joindre mon contact de chez WATCHMASTER qui m'assure que le remboursement intégral de ma montre sera effectué mais que cela prendra plus de temps que prévu par rapport à l'ampleur du vol.
Compte tenu du préjudice, je souhaiterai avoir des informations plus précises concernant le remboursement à venir... et que MMC, 9 rue MARBEUF à PARIS qui a pris ma montre en charge se manifeste sur le sujet.
