J’ai envoyé ma montre pour un dépôt…

J’ai envoyé ma montre pour un dépôt vente chez Watchmaster.
La montre a été volée et maintenant c’est le flou concernant le remboursement.
La société c’est mis en redressement judiciaire et nous ne savons pas si nous allons être remboursé malgré l’assurance!!!!
la compagnie est en Allemagne et maintenant commence le chemin de galère.

Nach dem "Einbruch" in den Safe der…

Nach dem "Einbruch" in den Safe der Firma erreichen einen nur Negativ-Meldungen, welche darauf hinweisen, dass die Firma unterversichert war. Ganz klar eine negative Bwertung von mir. Ich werde mit "Watchmaster" nur noch vor Gericht kommunizieren.

es liegt uns fern, Sie in irgendeiner Form zu verärgern.

Bei diesem Einbruch wurden mehr als 900 Kunden geschädigt. Alle Kunden wurden seitens Watchmaster gut informiert und sind über den Fortgang gut aufgeklärt worden.

Inwieweit jetzt eine Unterversicherung vorliegt stellt nur eine vage und unbegründete Vermutung von Ihnen dar.
Leider sind solche Bewertung mehr als kontraproduktiv und missachten die fleißige Arbeit der Mitarbeiter, die unseren Kunden kostenlos einen reibungslosen Ablauf bei der Abwicklung ermöglichen. Auch Ihnen war bereits bekannt, dass Watchmaster direkt geschädigt ist, da die Kommission des Verkaufs nicht mitversichert war.

Sei es wie sei, wir wünschen Ihnen und Ihrer Familie eine schöne Weihnachtszeit.

I would never write a bad review but watchmaster is leaving me with no choice.

I can only say that i am disgusted by their approach in these circumstances and that this is by far the worst experience ever!

No sufficient information about the insurance of our stolen watches.
We don’t really know if there is any…

No proof of insurance whatsoever.

A contract that doesn’t cover anything apparently, that doesn’t mean anything and they act like they’re intending to break it themselves.

Please don’t start about loss and damage because We are talking about theft here, a crime and this is not loss nor damage.

(What’s the point of having a contract in the first place then?)

Now watchmaster filed for insolvency and advices us to get our own lawyer/insurance while they were declaring our watches to be insured?!!

Insolvency > bankrupt > no money

Is this a joke?!

I think i can speak on behalf of all victims here who had their watches stolen and are in this nightmare situation with watchmaster.
We get no straight answer about our payout/insurance of our stolen watches and everything is just a big blur.
Everytime we ask they talk about their commission and that they have no further information, that’s it.

I would like to remind watchmaster of their responsibility over our property/watches and we want our investment back!

We have put our faith in watchmaster and this is how we get treated?

Be professional and honest, don’t keep us in discomfort please!

We all have a lot at stake here.

Erfolglose Reklamation!

Leider habe ich, beim Versuch eine Rolex als Kommissionsverkauf über "Watchmaster"zu veräußern, sehr schlechte Erfahrungen mit diese Plattform gemacht. Nachdem "Watchmaster" meine Uhr in mehr als 3 Monaten nicht verkaufen konnte, habe ich die Uhr zurückverlangt. Zu meinem Entsetzen musste ich nach Rückerhalt feststellen, dass die Facetten an den Hörnern meiner an sich sehr schönen Explorer II de facto wegpoliert waren! Auf meine Reklamation hin, wurde mir gesagt, dass die Politur sachgemäß ausgeführt wurde. Für das erfolglose Anbieten der Uhr wurden mir danach 1.400,-- "Verkaufsprovision" in Rechnung gestellt, von denen mir -auf meine heftige Urgenz hin- die Hälfte "großzügigerweise" erlassen wurde. Der von mir verlangte Schadenersatz für die durch die nicht vereinbarte und meines Erachtens unsachgemäße Politur entstandene Wertminderung meiner Uhr, wurde von "Watchmaster" abgelehnt bzw. ein Minimalbetrag dafür angeboten! Somit kann ich nur dringend empfehlen, die Allg. Geschäftsbedingungen von "Watchmaster" für einen Kommissionsverkauf einer Uhr genau durchzulesen bzw. diese unbedingt mit anderen ähnlichen Plattformen zu vergleichen, die bei nicht erfolgtem Verkauf auch keine Provision verrechnen!

leider können wir diese Bewertung nicht ganz nachvollziehen und bedauern sehr das Sie mit unserem Service nicht voll zufrieden waren.
Nach Aussage der Werkstatt wurde die Uhr fachgerecht aufgearbeitet dies wurde Ihnen auch bereits mehrfach dokumentiert.
Natürlich können wir nichts daran ändern, dass dies nicht Ihrem persönlichen Empfinden entspricht.

Recently sold my 2021 Tag Heuer Monaco

Recently sold my 2021 Tag Heuer Monaco, did take around 5 months but I wasn’t in a major rush to sell. Excellent communication from start to finish, payment rcvd swiftly after the two week cooling period you have to give incase buyer changes their mind. Felt at ease the whole way through, Jason who dealt with me was excellent. Peeps if your selling a watch in this current climate you have to be patient. Not sure why people are complaining wanting to take the watch back after months not being sold, it clearly states you will pay a commission if it’s before the 12 months. I do suggest you fully read the terms and conditions before parting with your watch. It can be quite stressful parting with an expensive watch but just chill these guys are good. Highly recommended.

Very unhappy with my experience selling…

Very unhappy with my experience selling my watch with Watchmaster. After many months unsold, I asked if I could have my watch back and they told me I'd have to pay £700 for the privilege!
When it did finally sell, then then charged me an extra £300 to "refurbish" it. I never knowingly agreed to this - who knows what they have in the small print though. Please do as many others have suggested and avoid this company like the plague.
Stick it on ebay instead.

Dear Joe,

We refurbish all of our watches and disclose this plainly in all of our promotional materials prior to you listing your watch. In your case we needed to fully polish and clean and regulate your time piece and we have also replaced the strap. To have carried all of this work for £300 is reasonable and is in fact discounted.
We are very sorry that you were not aware of this but it does allow us to offer the 2 year warranty we afford all of our buyers and equally means the watch we ship is to the standard that our buyers would expect.

Nothing but Frustration.
Had my Omega speedmaster racing picked up by W. Master back in early May. Lowest sale price agreed, turned out my watch needed work totalling £465 Inc new crystal (£250) Was perfect when packed off to them apart from very light marks on the bracelet... I just agreed assuming it was their way of bolstering their already hefty commission, I knew that there was no way of proving the condition when sending...I was even sent a close up photo of the damaged crystal so then I knew for sure I was dealing with the wrong company, but realised too late..!
The watch sold quite quickly (by mid june). Then the refurbishment work started, parts not available from omega, sale eventually lost due to the buyers patience finally running out after a 4 month wait...
Amazingly a week later the parts had been received and the watch ready to go... Recently resold, claimed my payment today, less than 66% of agreed min sale price..
Do yourself a favour, give these Bandits a wide berth and list your Watch on Ebay
I certainly wish I had.....

We must apologise for the deeply frustrating circumstance we found ourselves in with your watch.
We were unfortunately subject to huge delays sourcing the parts required to service you watch and we did indeed unfortunately loose the buyer in the same week the parts were received. In spite of our efforts we were not able to re engage the buyer but did nevertheless subsequently find a new buyer and sold your watch. The delays we faced during the initial refurbishment were indeed deeply regrettable and frustrating for which I must apologise.
However, we discussed the refurbishment cost of your watch with you explicitly before we listed you watch on the platform and you gave us your consent for these.
I am sorry to hear that you find this to be dishonest, given we had discussed the details in full before even listing your watch for sale.

Sold a Heuer watch with Watchmaster

Sold a Heuer watch with Watchmaster. Before I sent it I had it regulated and polished as I own a Jewellers and wanted it in top condition but when I got my final bill they had charged me a extra £130 to refurbish it?
When I questioned it apparently the bracelet was stretched and needed repaired but it was on a leather strap it’s not even a bracelet model !
It needed no parts but after speaking to Jason he then said it wasn’t the bracelet it had a hair line scratch so they were charging me £130.00 to remove it which was a total of 3hours work! (To remove a hair line scratch)
The outcome was that’s what your getting charged £130 for.

Thank you for your time on the phone and please accept our apologies for this. The Watch is indeed on a leather bracelet and this was communicated in error. The polishing carried out was completed in good faith but I agree the time spent was not 3 hours. I am looking into this and why/where it has been incorrectly recorded to ensure we avoid these circumstances in the future. In the mean time we have fully refunded charge.
I am sincerely sorry for the confusion and inconvenience.

Ich bin mit dem Service von Watchmaster sehr zufrieden. Watchmaster hat 2 Luxusuhren (Rolex und Breguet) von mir zu einem zufriedenstellenden Preis verkauft und die ganze Kaufabwicklung inkl. Auszahlung des Verkaufserlöses erfolgte schnell und ohne Schwierigkeiten. Ich empfehle Watchmaster gern weiter.

My story is quite long, but all in Watchmaster have been very good sorting everything out. I bought a Breitling superocean 2 Abyss, it broke, it got fixed, it broke again, I chose another watch, it broke before I got it, they fully refunded me. All in, I didn't get a watch, but I did get looked after by their team and it was ok.

Mai utilizzare Watchmaster

Vi sconsiglio fortemente l’utilizzo di watchmaster. Ho utilizzato loro per comprare l’orologio sulla piattaforma Chrono24. Mi hanno fornito la prova della garanzia ma prima della vendita avevano aperto l’orologio provocando il danno e hanno fatto decadere la garanzia. Una frode!! Pur avendo riconosciuto quello che hanno fatto non c’è stato modo per chiedere il rimborso per i costi della riparazione. Inoltre, aprendo l’orologio che fa decadere in automatico la garanzia, non hanno gli strumenti per chiuderlo bene. Qualsiasi orologio che comprate da loro non avrete la garanzia! Loro sperano che la gente non faccia causa per i costi legali ma non è così. Il consumatore va protetto! Inutile che aggrediscono le case produttrici, io faccio causa e sono sicura che il giudice mi dia ragione.

we have obviously already been in touch and while I appreciate your feedback your frustration should be target at Audemar Piguet rather than Watchmaster.

Upon asking AP to replace the battery on your quartz watch they have declined the replacement of the battery under warranty under the pretence that the watch has been opened by a third party. AP is claiming that moisture has entered the movement of the timepiece. A statement that we have challenged given that the watch was confirmed to be 5 bar waterproof upon leaving our premises (I have shared the respective proof with you). They are now asking you to pay for a full revision of the watch to get the battery replaced. It’s simply outrageous that they are now looking to charge you more than € 700 for a service that should not cost more than € 50.

Factually it is obviously correct that we have opened the timepiece. This is the only way that we can authenticate every timepiece that we sell. Only a detailed optical inspection of the movement allows us to identify deep fake replicas. We further need to open every watch to service every timepiece sold by ourselves and thereby provide a two-year warranty on every purchase. We are very transparent about the process we apply. Our capability to authenticate timepieces is in fact the reason customer’s turn to us for the purchase of a pre-owned luxury watch.

I have repeatedly offered to replace the battery under our warranty and also check whether the movement has really been exposed to moisture. You have not responded to this offering and are demanding that we pay for the full service at AP. I am obviously not prepared to pay for a service that we deem to be unnecessary. I am sorry.

Erster Kontakt mit Watchmaster durch den Kauf einer Deepsea James Cameron . War erst skeptisch über Internet zu kaufen aber ich wurde eines besseren belehrt. Top Betreuung von Anfang an. E Mails mit Status zu der gesamten Abwicklung bis hin zu Abfrage der Handgelenk dicke . Bin mehr als zufrieden mit dem Kauf der Uhr. Wenn Preis und Leistung so passt gerne wieder.👍
