This company made me fall in love with heritage clothing. They’ve supplanted nearly every other brand in my wardrobe. The loudest naysayers are those who don’t check their measurements with Gustin’s size guide, or who don’t believe in their crowdfunding model. Instant gratification is the norm, so it’s expected that their model won’t work for everyone. I could get philosophical about why I’m a huge fan of this, but I’ll keep it concise. The summarization of the reviews really says it all regarding their design and quality. There’s a reason I’ve gone all in on this brand. Their products say it all

Received the 501 indigo x purple and the fit was perfect. I haven’t had the opportunity to wear them yet but I’m looking forward to it. The quality and fit is great the purple really pops when cuffed and the feel is quality. I recommend Gustin to anybody interested in raw selvage jeans

Honestly, the overall customer experience is not too great; their business model means that you're not getting the jeans you ordered until a couple months later, and you have to pay for shipping to send it back if it doesn't fit you, in which case you'll be refunded store credit. It's been a real struggle to figure out which size I should be ordering because their cuts are very different from the other brands I'm used to wearing. The main difference is that the low-rise cuts are very unforgiving, especially when I have wider hips than the average dude. I used to try getting pants that fit tight to the lower leg, but I gave up on that with Gustin; if it makes it over my hips, that's what I'm keeping. 32 slim is the sweet spot for me, while 33 skinny is great on the top block but very tight around my calves (I got cyclist calves) and 31 vintage straight is comfy but loose on the legs and so high-waisted it runs into my modest paunch.
On the plus side, they have a truly amazing selection of fabrics in all sorts of colors, materials, and thicknesses, which is why I put up with the sizing headaches. The prices are reasonable enough that I treat them like a once a season luxury, and their stock sales are a fast way to acquire pieces if they happen to have something you're looking for in your size.

Gustin has been great to work with. They work hard to source the best materials from around the world and construct everything in the U.S. I love that!
After finding the fits that work for me, It's easy to go back and order new styles as they become available. If, by chance, there is something I ordered that doesn't quite work, Gustin makes it easy to return for store credit.

I’ve received eight or nine Gustin brand pants and shirts. I will tell you they are the highest quality, best fitting and comfortable denim pants I own. Follow their fit suggestions and be prepared to be happy!

I'm new to this kind of denim, etc... Was a little disoriented with my first two pairs -- they were raw denim. These things are sturdy and stiff but the craftsmanship is obvious. Just know that a little patience helps during the breaking in process. Looking forward to having these pants for a long time.

Eric and Kelly are what makes your experience at Gustin Denim worth the wait. I found Selvedge Denim late in my life and love the American Made idea and effort Gustin puts into their products. Eric was there from the start to guide me on what fit was right fir my size and Kelly was there to make sure Eric done his job well. At 58 yrs old I appreciate the old style fit my Gustin Denim has, and I would know I have 16 pairs of Gustin Selvedge Denim jeans and 4 of their Work Shirts.

The quality of the clothes are top tier. The price is only slightly above many others with garments made in China with less quality. I have already gotten 6 different pieces from them with multiple others in a campaign.

Always timely, always helpful, and always within their stated polices. No surprises and that’s just a great thing

Everything I ordered doesn't only look nice, but is of excellent quality. I had to return a pair of jeans (wrong size) and their team made the process easy. (Response time might be a bit slow, but I understand it's a small team) but the service is still great.

Well informed during the pre-order process, and quality customer service. I have several pairs of selvedge and a half dozen shirts now, really like the unusual textures and colorways being offered. I’ve put several friends onto Gustin, and will continue to do so.

Big fan of Gustin. Over the last year, I’ve purchased seven pairs of jeans, two short-sleeve sweatshirts, and three pairs of drawstring shorts. Every piece is top quality. I wear the shorts all summer.

I have been wearing clothes from Gustin for over 10 years and they are still one of my favorite brands. Most important is that the clothes are generally made of higher quality, more interesting fabrics than you find anywhere else, and they are transparent about what the material in each garment is, and where it's from. It certainly helps that the clothes fit me perfectly, and hold up well over time.

I really appreciate the quality of materials used and the craftsmanship in their clothes. Also, the style is fantastic. The crowd funding is a really great way to save money and prevent from a bunch of clothes being made that will ultimately never be sold.

Gustin is my favorite clothing brand. The highest quality fabrics, natural fibers, competently constructed, good prices. I own half a dozen items now, and have orders for half a dozen more. Looking forward to expanding my collection.

The things that Gustin excels at are the quality of clothing and the pricing at which you are getting it. If you goal is to get really good clothes, then this is an amazing option.

The natural consequences of their business model is that once you back a project, you could be waiting weeks or months until the project is fully funded. And even after that it can take months for the materials that he acquired and to finally he shipped to you.

Their sizing is also a bit unique. You really need to pay attention their sizing guide and you really need to pay attention to any additional sizing notes. Sometimes you are recommended to order 2-3 sized above your normal size.

But ultimately the products are great. If you can get the right size and wait a few months you are going to get a really great product that you are going to love and wear all the time.

Really high quality materials and construction. I like that I can learn about the materials before buying. It is helpful to decide what works for me. I have ordered a few times now and always been very happy with the result.

Gustin is great.. Super responsive and I'm glad they added a rewards program.
