The booking was easy, it was simple to understand which survey I wanted and the actual booking date of the survey and receiving the report were very quick and efficient. I also had a call from the surveyor to go over the report prior to receiving it. Very happy with the survey.

Great service
It was very quick to make up my mind after numerous quotes online. My level 2 survey was quick to arrange. Work was carried out to an exceptional standard. Had to chase up the report after the due date however customer service was so helpful, even had a phone contact from manager. Report was uploaded later. It was detailed with great advice. I will use this company again. The online portal was also very helpful as it shows you the progress of your survey. To add price was also very competitive and cheaper

Survey took place very quickly. Hannah the surveyor rang me after looking at the property and gave me a full update and I received the report on the same day. Very efficient and good value compared to other companies

Thorough survey
Company very straight-forward and helpful to deal with and surveyor good at keeping in touch afterwards to clarify any points. The inspection seemed thorough and the report was delivered on time. However, quality of the report itself was a bit below my expectations in some parts. Some sections appeared to have been copied and pasted with the same issues presented several times in slightly different ways with differing levels of importance, making it hard to know exactly what was being recommended at times. There were also quite a few typos and mistakes. The surveyor was helpful with verbal feedback afterwards, but some of the information remained confusing. I've used White Horse several times now, and would probably use them again in future as I've had more negative experiences with others.

Not exactly happy with the survey
Not exactly happy with the survey. I was told and expected the surveyor to call me on the morning of the survey. He did not.
The property being surveyed did have shuttering up at the windows and doors and the side access did have rubbish along it with enough room to get past it. He made no attempt at all to get round the back.
I also requested additional information as to wether 2 internal walls could be removed, one between toilet and bathroom the other between kitchen and diner and wether rsj’ dare required or not. The only information I got back regarding them was the kitchen diner is a stud wall.
Compared to other level3 surveys I have had this year this one was hardly worth the paper it was written on

We have investigated this further inspection/survey this afternoon following your review, and looking at the comprehensive photos taken by the surveyor on the day there would have been a serious health and safety issue with him attempting to access the rear of the property which was clearly blocked.
A level 3 survey although more comprehensive in its inspection and report than a level 2 is still only a visual inspection with some limitations.
In these circumstances, we would advise an additional specialist structural survey. Your sales account manager would have explained the nature of the survey and although we would try to advise on individual queries and questions we will also advise further inspections by a builder or structural surveyor in these cases.
