The White Horse restaurant in Sipton is incredible: friendly host Neil, great food and a calm environment.

Ordered coffee and two cakes and cakes came 5 minutes later but coffee delayed another 30 minutes after reminding them. Apology from the trainee waiter and no response from my complaint about a very slow service
Won’t be returning

I recently purchased my first house and sought legal assistance from White Horse Solicitors. Specifically, Mr. Misthahul Islam managed my case. Although my situation was quite complicated and took longer than expected due to some paperwork gaps on the seller’s side, Mr. Islam was incredibly proactive. He guided me through every step, ensuring that all necessary boxes were checked. At times, I felt frustrated, but he patiently explained everything in layman’s terms, ensuring my full understanding of the case’s complexity. As buyers, we often struggle to comprehend such intricate tasks and may rush to complete them. However, Mr. Misthahul Islam’s professionalism and dedication secured my interests completely. If I ever need legal assistance in the future, I will undoubtedly turn to him again.

I went through the process of trying to book a survey with WhiteHorse Surveyors and all was fine until the day of the survey I was unable to log into the portal. I then couldn't get through to anyone on the phone. I then find out they have ceased trading the day before they arranged my survey? Very suspicious and bordering on a scam. They refused to refund my money but luckily I paid on my credit card and was able to get my money back.

White Horse Surveyors have gone bust and took my money £400 pounds, they did the survey and took my money and went bankrupt knowing they would not pay it , Chris Freeman is a con artist he didn’t pay his staff either . He lives in a 2 million pound house and has a holiday cottage on Cornwall .

If White Horse "ceased trading" or went bust on 31 Oct 2023, as their automated email reply said when I tried to contact them with a complaint about their survey, how come they are still replying to feedback on this thread in mid November??

This company has stood out, they have gone beyond what was asked of them and saw that we have had at some really bad luck. Yet still dealt with us in a professional yet really personable manner, we would highly recommend them for being really good, honest people. A rarity.

BEWARE ,,,AVOID this Crap. ,,, they got incompetent sureveyors who simply copy detailed explanation wihtout going much into detail. They initially promised me for a call from Sureveyor post surevey but she never called me and even after so many chasers and emails they never respond. One fine day i got emial saying they stopped trading , I wish if this crap company may soon get bankrupt as White Horse have no ethics toeven call back and respond even after taking money , They are money eaters , You may found them cheap but but are lower level than a cheap quote , Rest your choice , Good luck if you choose them

this White Horse Survey is internet fraud company!
last week I have paid 280 pounds for my home valuation service, but after one day, when they got money, then just say, unable to do this service, No Refunds.
everyone must be careful with this scam company !!

The management at WHS has displayed unacceptable behaviour. They violated their own contract, leaving over 80 workers without pay or notice. It is concerning that individuals like Samantha Elliott, who continues to receive payment, would deceive her staff by claiming she is in the same position and not being paid. She has even gone so far as to email us and other clients, informing us that we will not be receiving our reports or refunds, all while she is receiving her pay from owed wages and our hard-earned money. As I have read through other reviews and spoken to certain individuals, it is clear that management has also cut off communication with the unpaid staff, leaving them with no knowledge of what steps to take next. This kind of behaviour is extremely disappointing, and I hope legal action will be pursued.

The same experience as others paid for RICS Homebuyer Survey (Level 2) about £400 but then the company may go into administration on 31st October 2023. Avoid at any cost!!!

We Spoke to Nasir Ali on the 24th October in regards to having a homebuyers survey take place. filled out their webportal and then paid. They made the arrangements with the estate agent the next day to carry out the survey on the 26th. I got notification from the estate agent that the survey was scheduled and then on the 27th to day that the Survey had been completed. Someone then phoned my partner on the dame day to say that the survey was completed and they wanted to report that there were no red flag issues ans the reort would be with us in a few days. I then recieved an email to say that the report would be with us by the 2nd of November 2023. last night, not having recieved the report i wrote an email to Nasir asking when we could obtain the report. the email did not bounce, however I did get a response back stating that White Horse Surveyers ceased trading as of the 31st October, and as an administrator had not been appointed funds had been frozen and refunds are not currently possible. they dont have timescales on when refunds would be possible. and recommend that we seek another company to conduct our survey. why would I do that when you've been paid for a job that you've told me has already been done. just send the survey on. job done.......

The company is accepting my payment and inspection arranged on 30 Oct, but then they shut down right straight on the morning of 31 Oct.

Its director terminate himself on 27 Oct which obviously it is a planned scam.

Please blacklist this always and forever.

Paid for a level 2 survey but did not receive the report. Received an email saying they are no longer trading and the accounts are frozen so they can not offer refunds! I’m expected to go elsewhere and pay for another survey. Terrible. Zero Stars.

This company took money from people knowing full well that they would not be conducting the work. From what i have read it seems their staff have also been shafted.
This is absolutely disgraceful. Suddenly there are now 5 star fake reviews now saying how wonderful they are.

Flexible dates, great communication, and a super knowledgeable surveyor. Purchasing a (dream) Grade II listed property can be stressful, however, the report from WHS gave us the knowledge we needed to proceed with confidence.

Thank you for the excellent survey service received in October. David was very helpful from the first telephone appointment and the report was very professional, well organised, and provided precise information that made it easier to understand.

This company took £365 from my son for a survey that didn't happen as they closed the business, shame on you!!!!!! Apparently the Director is fine though in his £1.5m mansion, anyone got his address?????
