The WiFi arrived exactly on time. The signal was very good. We were able to game and stream TV no problem. Returning it was simple too as they provided the return label for us so we just taped it back... Ver mais

Excellent, arrived very quickly. Worked perfectly as expect and the returns process was easy. Refund on deposit also came through very quickly. Will definitely be using again in the future.

Good service would use again.

A few issues with poor responses to some initial pre purchase questions but once purchased the WiFi device provided good enough signal for TV streaming and general internet use. £50 deposit was refunded promptly upon return. Filled a gap in broadband service when moving home. I would use again.

A live-saver while waiting for broadband installation

I recently moved into a new-build home to learn it would take two weeks to be connected to broadband. The house gets terrible (one or two bar) 4G signal so home-working was impossible. Wifi Hire delivered a device via next day delivery that provided a very usable 20 Mbps good enough for video conferences and Netflix. The product return process was simple and the deposit refunded promptly. Excellent service all round.

Worked first time!

I moved house and the router i received gave me an immediate link to work and all my other devices until my fibre to property went live. From order to deposit refund the whole process just worked. I would recommend without hesitation.

Temporary WiFi

Needed some temporary wifi after a house move.
Found WiFihire to be quick, easy and hassle free.
WiFi had decent speed, plenty enough for 2 phones and tv.
Will definitely use again

Simply plug into mains socket and connect WiFi in Settings as usual on your devices.
So simple, as was paid return using address label included in original packaging. Stress-free transaction for elderly technophobes.

Low signal. Customer service was good.

Customer service was good and delivery was as advertised.
But the speed on the device was awful. 3.6mbps.
We needed it for an additional 2 weeks + in the end but didn’t extend the hire as it was only marginally better than the non existent phone signal.
Shame, as it’s a great idea, when it works.

Unusable Wi-Fi and no response from support

Very disappointing service. I ordered Wi-Fi for my whole house, but the connection has been weak, keeps disconnecting, and is so slow that it can barely load basic websites. Even downloading simple papers is difficult. I live alone and do not stream or use Zoom, so this level of poor performance is unacceptable. It is slower than mobile 5G.

, where they say replies are fast, but I did not receive proper help. I also did not receive a proper contract confirmation email, only payment confirmation (no reply email). Overall, poor internet quality and poor customer service. I would not recommend them.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologise for any inconvenience experienced.

In a situation where a local area is experiencing telecom mast issue affecting that local area where the device is being used, our standard procedure involves investigating the speed issue first to identify the cause and see if it can be resolved remotely. We then check to see if an alternative network (which isn't experiencing a telecom mast issue at that local area) is available.

I have investigated this, and I can see that you reached out to us and the customer service team have been replying your messages and you have also been replying them. I can also see you sent a screenshot of a speed test around mid-day yesterday, and a customer service team member replied you 17 minutes after the screenshots were received and you also replied .

Given this is an ongoing hire, and Trustpilot wouldn't be an ideal place to provide customer service support, I would recommend communicating with the customer service team through your existing email thread so that they can be in the best position to support you.

Regarding the internet not working, In situations where there is a local/regional telecom mast issue affecting the local area where a device is being used, our standard procedure involves investigating the speed issue first to identify the cause and see if it can be resolved remotely. We then check to see if an alternative network (which isn't experiencing a telecom mast issue at that local area) is available.

Regarding reaching out to us, I have investigated this, and I can see that you reached out to us on the 4th of April and a customer service team member responded to your email on the same day, requesting for the postcode where the device was being used so the network in that area can be investigated.

I can see that you provided a postcode and a team member requested for some other information but you are yet to respond to the email and follow up emails have been sent.

I can see this is an ongoing hire. Given that Trustpilot wouldn't be an ideal place to provide customer service support, I would recommend you respond to the customer service emails so that they can be in the best position to support you.

Fast delivery

Fast delivery, gets you out of a pickle.
The device arrived super fast, there is no set up needed. Plug and play. we had decent internet, limited to the main room, but the signal was good enough to run the tv and use our devices.

First Wifi box was 2 days late so they…

First Wifi box was 2 days late so they sent another then both arrived together. I then needed to keep the second box as the signal would reach the whole house and they wouldn't do a deal to keep the second box even though it had been delayed. Then 1 week after returning both boxes I get an email to say I had not returned even though they were sent back using the recorded delivery labels provided. Device did the job required but customer service is awful.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. We are glad to know the device was a helpful when you needed it.

Regarding the delivery of the device:
I've checked the Royal Mail tracking page and it shows your initial device was dispatched on 28th February via next-day delivery. Unfortunately, Royal Mail experienced a logistics delay. To minimize your wait, I can see a customer service team member processed a replacement device for immediate next-day delivery.

I can also see from the Royal mail tracking page that both the original and replacement units arrived on the same day. Hence a customer service team member had requested the return of the 2nd device, but you expressed a desire to keep both of the devices. Hence, a guide was provided on how to pay for the rental of the second unit, which you subsequently completed.

Regarding the email you received after your rental ended, reminding you to return the device:
I have looked into this and can see it was an automated message sent by our system because the device status hadn't been marked as received at the time. Apologies for the automated return reminder email.

Such a great company

Such a great idea when my broadband took ages to be installed, delivered when they said, easy to post back and deposit returned quickly. Would definitely use again!
