I thought Wilkinson sword was a big reliable company! Order placed a week ago on their website and still not even shipped. Came here and see the reviews and I am thinking is it a scam site?? Shame because a lot of places don’t sell Wilkinson sword - always wondered why as theyre the best blades imo but maybe the unreliability/mickey mouse vibes is the reason!!

Schlechte Qualität
Habe vor gut 3 Wochen über Kontaktformular Klingenkauf reklamiert. Die Qualität scheint inzwischen ein Problem zu sein. Konnte man früher noch mit einer Klinge mindestens 5-6 Rasuren erreichen, sind es jetzt nur noch 2-3 Rasuren. Habe alle geforderten Daten, die auf der Packung vorhanden, genannt und um eine Erklärung gebeten. Nichts ist bis jetzt vom Unternehmen geklärt worden. Es gab weder eine Eingangsbestätigung zum Kontaktformular noch einen Zwischenbescheid. Ein miserables Produkt und ein ebenso schlechtes Kundenverhalten. Werde meine Treue zum Produkt neu überdenken.

Ganz schlimm. Auf der Webseite ist zu lesen, dass ab 10 € keine Versandkosten entstehen. An anderen Stellen steht ein anderer Betrag. Keine Auskünfte bei dieser Firma zu erhalten. Lieferavis schon drei Tage alt aber immer noch kein Tracking möglich. Telefonisch ist niemand erreichbar. Auf Emails erhalte ich von einer KI, dass auf Basis meiner Bestellnummer und Adresse keine Auskunft möglich sei...

Worthless 10 year Guarantee
I purchased a spade about a year ago and the blade recently snapped in two; so I tried to claim on their ten year guarantee. I emailed them twice, with a photo and all the required info but no response, not even an automated reply. I only use it for hobby gardening and am a pensioner, so it broke underminimal pressure.
On reading the T&Cs they require a proof of purchase, but who keeps till receipts for 10 years, or even 10 minutes?

Avoid ordering directly from this company despite their good products
no reply to query on order status, only contact available is via a bot, web site bot does not recognise order numbers and details. A meaningless waste of time. When trying to get order status you are sent to a further (SHOP) web site to download their app, again absolutely unnecessary this status should be easily supplied on wilkinsonsword web page. it seems they are trying to distance themselves from customers.
What a let down
I bought a fork 3 weeks ago and one of the prongs just broke removing a sage plant. As professional gardener, this is incredibly sad as quality is essential. This is unacceptable. What type of materials are they using now? I will never buy from them again.

My order was placed on 17th December and was meant to be delivered withing 2-3 days. I understand it must have been busy with christmas so I waited and waited and till today it hasn't arrived. Having read the previous reviews I think I can kiss good by to my money. I paid for a pack of blades which never arrived. I contacted the customer service department and was told that they had been delivered but offered no proof of delivery. Since then I have sent numerous emails and only receive the automated reply, I can't believe that in these days of customer service they treat their customers with such disrespect. I haven't lost a great deal of money, but that's not the point. To anyone thinking of purchasing direct from the website, don't bother, you won't receive the order and you can kiss goodbye to your money.

I placed an order on the Wilkinson Sword website on Sunday, 14th July, but have not received the goods.
I did ask for the 20% discount to be applied to the sale retrospectively, which it was and I am grateful for.
However I really do think I should have received notification that the goods have been dispatched, but I haven't.
I have sent a number of emails since, however, have only received the auto response email, and no replies regarding this matter.
Please look into this.
If I don't receive a response by Sunday, 28th July, I will contact my card issuer and request a Charge Back for non-receipt of ordered goods.

I placed an order 14/06/24 to the value of £22.00, this exceeded the £20.00 required to have free p&p.
As it was my first order I was entitled to a 20% discount, a good offer so I thought, but when I got to the check out there was a £2.99 charge for p&p.
I immediately queried this with Wilkinson Sword on the contact us form, the reply I received, 17/06/24, said my query had been passed to the relevant department and I would be contacted shortly.
One week later, 24/06/24, having not received a reply I emailed again and got the same response - it's been passed to the relevant department.
Two weeks later, 01/07/24, I emailed again and got the same reply on 04/07/24, but with an apology.
14/07/24 - One month after my initial query with Wilkinson Sword and still no reply from the 'relevant department'.
By this time I am beginning to wonder if there is actually a 'RELEVANT DEPARTMENT'.
I email again, this time to raise a complaint, I get a reply two days later - "I apologise that you haven't had a response as yet and we have escalated this to the 'RELEVANT DEPARTMENT' for you".
16/07/24 - I receive a response I assume is from the elusive 'RELEVANT DEPARTMENT', I cannot be sure as all of the replies are anonymous.
The curt reply - "With regards to your message the p&p is £2.99 irrespective of the voucher"
The Wilkinson Sword website clearly states - "Thank you for signing up! Your reward is that you'll get an EXTRA 20% off all of our products.
Make sure to use it on our best sellers below! GET AN EXTRA 20% OFF YOUR FIRST ORDER.
It also states "FREE SHIPPING ON ALL ORDERS OVER £20"
My order amounted to £22.00, this exceeds the £20.00 for free p&p.
The 20% discount is the equivalent of a voucher, in this case worth £4.40,
So regardless of Wilkinson Sword offering me the 'voucher', my initial order still exceeded the £20.00 required for free p&p
The customer service department, or should I call it the 'RELEVANT DEPARTMENT', is nothing more than an IRRELEVANT DEPARTMENT as regards to customer care.
Needless to say, Wilkinson Sword have lost my 20+ years of loyal custom, I will now purchase my shaving supplies from Gillette or one of the other shaving supply companies.
