Wrike is a great tool for our marketing department. It is easy to use, easy to train and user-friendly. Reporting is a great feature that we use regularly. Everyone on our team knows exactly what tasks/projects they are to complete each day with the use of Wrike. The team is also held accountable for deadlines. With wrike, we are able to communicate to the department on each task. We are able to report to the field the amount of work we have completed within certain timeframes. The only thing I wish Wrike could improve on is automation and calendar views. The calendars would be very helpful if they were actually configurable and printer friendly.

We're a small business with about 15 employees who work in five different states. After a couple of experiences where important dates and deadlines got lost in the email fray, we set out to look for a project management tool.

Wrike was initially attractive because it seemed flexible and offered a competitive rate for a small group of folks. Once we signed up our main office did two training sessions and worked to get the rest of our team on board. While there was some initial resistance to trying something new, I can confidently say that after fours of being a Wrike customer our whole company could be considered Wrike Pros.

We use the system to take notes for meetings, set up tasks (love the dependent tasks feature), manage projects and keep track of hours from contractors. Wrike has a lot of flexibility and they're always adding new features.

In the future, I'd like to see font color options so you know who is writing what in the task itself.

Wrike is a good wee tool, and has been very useful for our business. It's very flexible, so users can use it as they want to without upsetting the overall process. For example, more visual people can opt for a canban style display. You can organise your tasks how you want them, e.g. tasks to be done today, or tasks due this week, or tasks from a certain person, and have all these lists display on your personalised dashboard.

The only issues are repeating tasks are not smoothly handled, and they don't appear to have any plans to update this soon. Also, you can't fully rely on the system to notify you when tasks are due, so we are relying on calendar reminders in Outlook alongside Wrike. Without this, tasks easily fall through the cracks, as everyone's overdue tasks lists just fill up and no one is notified. You have to remember to check up on these tasks.

At my previous company, we used a project management tool to help keep our projects on track. It was a big livesaver so when I moved to my new job and we started looking into similar tools, I was really excited. Once we discovered Wrike, we found it met our needs (more so than Basecamp). It is really good for complex marketing teams - medium-to-large sizes, who have lots of proiects that involve lots of different people, and require a lot of tasks spread out among team members. It helps me stay on track and now I don't have to search through my emails to find out where something left off. The only downside is the reporting - it's not what we wanted (no calendar view of everything going on, a bit hard to see overdue by month etc.) but they are releasing new features often so we hope they look into it.

Wrike is an amazing tool. Since I started using it 3 years ago a lot of new functions have been developed and often they met an immediate need I had. But most of all I love the responsiveness.
The few times I have chatted they have been enormously helpful, but being old school and not dot.com I am not so much into chatting. Good old emails does the trick for me.
Every time I send them an email I get response within 2-3 hours and if more detailed info is required the team sets up a gotomeeting conference call. This way they can walk you through the steps you need to do t achieve what you need.

Even if the exact solution does not exist (yet) they always have a work around that gives you an information or functionality very close to what you need.

Considering that they sit in a totally different time zone than I do I am amazed with the fast responses and do enjoy working with their customer care team.

Great product, especially working with distributed teams. The customer support is 10/10!!! And they are always adding new features. The major downfall is you can't print a Gantt chart of your project nicely.

When working with any powerful and flexible tool, I find that the power and flexibility are both a pro and a con. And, Wrike is both.

We have been using Wrike for about two years now. My team (marketing production) mostly loves it but sometimes is frustrated by it. They love that they can go one place to find information about their work (as their manager, I like this too), they like that they can easily collaborate with team member and those outside the team. I suppose the one thing that I hear the most frustration about is related to ways to do things in Wrike and the time involved -- which in reality is true for any process and tool one might use to manage collaborative projects.

Most recently, our favorite feature is Approvals which allows us to collaboratively comment on PDFs and images (jpgs, bmp, png, gif). Again, it is great to see all our comments in one place versus sending emails and then having to compile all the feedback.

While we are using Wrike to facilitate agile marketing efforts I can see that this would work for any teams managing projects - for example software teams, remote teams, etc.

Wrike is a great tool and they continue to roll out new features and functions.

Wrike is pretty fantastic - feature-rich, easy to use, with a very supportive team. Definitely one of the best SaaS tools I've every worked with.

Wrike is my favourite Saas decision for my work and personal life. I have two accounts - one is for personal GTD and the second is for my teams, where I do my tasks, even if in reality there are no people in these projects - just for self-registration of completed tasks.

- What are some of your favorite Wrike updates? Custom Statutes, Custom Fields, Reports, Dashboards/Boards

- What would you add to Wrike features? Oh, there are many of them. A good normal integrated calendar, not a current one, a normal internal instant messenger, which will be a really instant - a current system of commentaries doesn't work properly with a really needed for a typical burst conversation without pressing f5, some lacks in the dashboards and widgets interface are needed to neutralized, a desktop client version is strongly needed, because chrome browser could have too many opened pages, including custom statuses feature in a professional plan is strongly needed for those who don't need the other functionality of a business version!

- Who would take advantage of using Wrike? Pms, marketers, freelancers, small agile taskforces

- How did Wrike change the way you work? I'm trying to register all my life in it from a moment

Using Wrike for over 2 years now and moved up to the Enterprise version. Wrike is pricey but support is excellent. IMHO, some of the Enterprise features should come with base paid subscription (e.g. Reporting). All in all I have been very happy with Wrike.

Wrike is flexibile and intuitive (once one gets the hang of the folder structure) and allows for effective team collaboration on Projects. On software dev projects allows for easy non-dev participation. I compared several collaborative project management tools and Wrike got my money. I have been very happy with the product.

Thank you for building this awesome tool it has helped our team work closely and more quickly with minimum communication gap.

Wrike has a lot of cool functionalities. Really a tool you need to try.

Best PM tool I have came across till date. This tool works seamlessly & has many features that can make the project management easy & very simple. Wrike can be integrated with Outlook & Jira and is available on every leading mobile platforms.

We have found Wrike to be easy to use. The ability to tag tasks into a variety of projects/folders allows each person to organise their tasks in the way that best enhances their personal productivity while ensuring the team stays on track.

Other strong points include the social media nature of the tool which makes collaboration easier. Also the integration with Google Apps and they way it handles documents makes managing project documents easier.

Overall Wrike is a great tool to enhance your teams productivity.

Wrike has been my most valued software at my company, which is a small sized digital ad agency. We have very complex projects that take months to complete, and over 12 of them going on at once all managed by one overall person. Without Wrike, we would be lost. My favorite Wrike features include effortlessly duplicating projects using their Excel import, integrating with Outlook (our company is very familiar with Outlook and having this integration has been steadily shifting everyone over to Wrike instead of clustered inboxes), Gantt charts, workload views, and the time tracker. Wrike has more features than I could possibly list and although it is extremely complex, it's simple for a user to get started. It's easy to play around with and when I first started I became familiar enough with Wrike in order to utilize it within a day or so. Now that I've continued to work with Wrike, I've discovered advanced features that work well for my company specifically and any time I have a question about a complex task or feature, the Wrike staff is always there to help me within a very reasonable time span. The only thing I wish about Wrike was that the time tracking feature was expanded so that you could have a desktop timer that is paused on/off with a keyborad shortcut, instead of having to go into individual tasks to start and stop them (there are a lot of interruptions in our office). I would recommend Wrike to anyone, it has greatly helped our company in our success.

Wrike is an amazing project and task management solution which allows teams to easily colaborate on work with team members and even external teams.

It has totally changed the way i work and i am now hughly more effective in getting the job done

Everything you need to manage your teams and review the performance of each member individually. Moreover you get tons of different features to automate the workflow.

Kritische Anmerkungen zum eigentlich wunderbar anmutenden Wrike für alle Freiberuflichen:
- Termine können nicht mit Uhrzeitangaben subsumiert werden (Uhrzeiten fehlen völlig)
- die Ical Implikation funktioniert nur als Abonnement, man kann von iCal aus keine Eingriffe vornehmen.
- !!!! 5 mal Minus hierfür !!!!: Die toll ausgestaltete Teamworkbase ist auch das größte Manko in meinen Augen, denn Wrike setzt nur noch auf eine aktive Integration aller Projektbeteiligten in das Projektplanungstool. Doch welche projektbeteiligte oder auftraggebende Firma ist schon begeistert, zu einem Beitritt in Euer Projektplanungstool aufgefordert zu werden?! Und in der Planung schreibt man doch gerne auch mal nur so etwas wie "Autoren" oder "Dachdecker" in den Bereich 'Zuständigkeit'. Wrike ist m. E. ein Planungstool für die oberste Ebene von großen Firmen, die intern Zuständigkeiten verwalten wollen. Für kleine Projektmanagementdienstleister halte ich es für ungeeignet.

Wrike was more expensive, but you do get what you pay for, and what you get is well worth it.

Wrike came with the features we wanted. Email support, so you can respond to tasks inside emails. Task sharing with those that are outside the organization. A UI that is easy to understand. Cloud storage and document support.

Wrike is also very reliable, it just works. Other software we tried was just to buggy and temperamental, it doesn’t matter how many features you have if they don’t work when the customer tries to use them (I’m looking at you Tracky, Microsoft, software developers in general).

It’s been over a year since we began using Wrike, and they continue to improve and and value. They also respond to the community and add much asked about features, i.e. Sub-Tasks. Their user interface gets easier to use with each update, thank you dashboard and descendent-tasks.

I do wish that Wrike included more user accounts for our level. It’s hard to figure out if a person is a “User” (able to create tasks) or just a “Collaborator”. And I would like them to have add the ability to have external bug task creation.

Summary: Wrike is worth the money, the system makes since to users, they are adding great features with each update, and have great customer support and documentation. Spend the money and get software that really helps you and your team work better.
