Improve Your Checkout Process
Overall, I can see the value of Wukong for learning Chinese. However, my biggest complaint is the checkout process. Having to wait several days just to speak with someone and get pricing, only to be pressured into making a purchase within 24 hours, left a horrible taste in my mouth. The fact that there seems to be a different “sale” every month, along with being encouraged to change the original class selection, makes the sales approach feel questionable. They really need to improve that process.
I’m not entirely sure I would want my friends to have that kind of experience, which is a shame because I do see the value of this platform for anyone interested in learning Chinese in a remote environment. That’s the only reason I’m giving it a 3 out of 5.

The admin and the mandarin teacher are all very nice and responsible and helpful. But the system seemed slow because we couldn’t start as I wished today. It was at least three days after I requested.

Customer service consultant was very professional, unlike the other consultants from other language school who kept bothering me non stop. He also explained all the terms and conditions to me without bias. The trial class seemed good. Will need to experience and see the quality of the real classes.

I like the interaction teacher has with my child - very encouraging and keeps the child motivated to learn and speak. Right after first class, a designated person will get a report from the teacher and calls me for any feedback I have - very efficient and professional.

Make sure that you can get the teacher you want before committing - was promised to arrange for the same teacher whom we trialed with but was told unable to do so right after payment. Disappointing.

Platform used
Platform used. Wukong should provide a platform where students and teachers can share, edit files and collaborate simultaneously. Students should be able to use platforms more similar to Zoom or Teams and not confined to the Wukong platform. This is a turnoff unless parents don't have what other options are available.

Salespeople are pushy and annoying. They called and texted me every day and sent tons of emails to sell other classes that I didn’t ask for as well. Be cautious if you don’t want your inbox to get flooded!!!
