A very good holiday. Good hotel. Good location. Friendly staff. Good food. Friendly driver. Overall a good time. Only issue, didn't know we had to travel to Tamworth first before Bridlington.

we stopped in your ROYAL HOTEL in SKEGNESS ,in august this year .dinners was served on cold plates. one night waited 40 minutes for our sweet.staff was rude .rooms not been cleaned,dirty sheets on bed .w

We had a wonderful driver (Jim) who is an extremely skilled coach driver. He was also kind, calm and knowledgeable.
We were taken to Lovely places with beautiful scenery. THANK YOU
Our hotel was basic but great. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful, especially the younger members of staff. Our food was really good. THANKS AGAIN

Driver Jim so calm, informative & helpful. Hotel all I hoped for especially the young staff. Llandrindod wells holiday to be recommended.Can't wait for next hols with Alfa.

The driver was brilliant(simon),the staff at the hotel was very good,our waiter (alex) was friendly,helpful,and efficient.Eastbourne is a nice place to go for short break,and the organized trips ,well worth going to.

Hotel excellent. Staff good. However the journey to Eastbourne was horrendous. Feeder coach was sent to wrong pick up point in Wallingford and then came up to main road closure with signposted diversion down narrow country lane. After spending time on his phone he tookan alternastove route which made us very late at Reading. To crown this the tour coach had lady taken ill and we sat for over one hour waiting for an ambulance stuck on slip road off M4. Arrived Eastbourne after 5pm!!!

Another great Alfa trip, this time to the Hotel Regina. The hotel is in a perfect spot but because I booked late, I was little disappointed that I couldn't get a harbour/seaview room. I had a cosy double at the back of the hotel, it was dated but clean & very quiet which was a bonus so I slept very well.
The meals were good & the dining room ran well with Harry our waiter working hard & looking after our table efficiently & with humour! 😊
The girls on the bar were very friendly & I loved the entertainment room which had been refurbished very well.
I thoroughly enjoyed the excursions to Plymouth & Exeter, just a shame we got a little wet in Teignmouth so didn't see it at its best!
Robert the driver was great (again) & I think I prefer the Lyle's coaches to the actual Alfa ones! 😉
I have knocked one star off for the dated room & you need to be aware of a member of the cleaning staff stood at the bottom of the stairs on his phone each morning - it is not professional & made me uncomfortable walking past. Also, on checking out, the manager didn't show much acknowledgement, just took my key & ticked me off the sheet. He wasn't busy & a "Did you enjoy your stay?" would have been polite.
I met some lovely people on this trip, as always on Alfa tours & I'm looking forward to my next trip with you in October 😁

No complaints whatsoever. Hotel was spotless throughout. Food nicely cooked. Hotel in good position. However, Bournemouth is a little run down in places but overall a very enjoyable trip.

The holiday with Alfa was very good from start to finish. The coaches were comfortable, always on time and our driver was helpful throughout. The hotel was well situated, clean spacious rooms, friendly helpful staff and the food was good too. The entertainment was decent too. Our second day out was to a gardens but it was pouring with rain and some of the attractions were closed. The driver suggested we spend some time looking at the 2 exhibitions which were available then he took us to Norwich for the rest of the time. So, despite the rain, we had a great day.

All the staff were friendly and helpful, the food was good, and our room was comfortable.

I thoroughly enjoyed my recent holiday to Cromer staying at the Hotel de Paris. The staff were very friendly and our waiter in the Restaurant was very efficient, well done Tom. My single room which I paid extra for to get a seaview was very clean and the Chambermaid always knocked to see if I was in and asked if I needed anything.
The excursions were very good but, could I suggest that the Norfolk Broads should be on the Thursday instead of the Friday as we didn`t get back till 5.20pm and dinner was at 6pm.
Oh I bought a Salad Bowl takeaway for my journey back to the North East. When I ordered it I was told that there would be disposable cutlery included. Imagine my shock when there was none in my Salad Bowl, so I had to eat Salad with my fingers! NOT VERY EASY!

Brilliant as ever won't go with any other coach firm our coach driver was fab Tony Parnham. This was our 3rd trip to newquay.Hotel fab great staff. Trips brilliant this time new places we never been to.

The whole holiday except for the broken lift to the dining room.

Booking was easy, pick ups on time, coach (3rd party) and driver were excellent. Hotel rather dated but clean - good location and staff were the very best. Good altho limited selection of evening meals but everything was hot, tasty and adequate. Breakfast menu was awesome. Excursions were well chosen and interesting.
Beware if booking specific seats on coach - 3rd party operator coaches do not necessarily have the same seating plan as the Alfa coaches. We like the seats behind the toilet/stairwell and our seat numbers did not correspond. Luckily everything ended well but not necessarily the case

Friendly and helpful staff, I enjoyed all the meals I chose, comfortable and clean room and the day trips on the coach were excellent. All round, it was a great holiday.

lovely hotel, staff fantastic and respectful, and to me personally means so much. Location wise, a mile from Melrose could be a bind for some people.

I have just got home for my holiday with Alfa I went to Ilfracombe. Thank you for a wonderful time a special thank you to your receptionist staff Sara and Faith for the kindness and all their help. As so to Andy , Richard and Christine for taking the time to check on the lady who collapsed and for all your help

I am writing on behalf of a group of 10 people who recently stayed at the Regina Hotel in Torquay. Although we were part of an Alfa Holiday booking, we did not travel by coach and instead made our own way to Torquay by car.

Overall, we had a very enjoyable holiday. Most members of the hotel staff were pleasant, helpful and welcoming.. We also found the coach driver to be very pleasant and professional.

Unfortunately, one evening our dining experience was spoiled by the behaviour of a member of the catering management team, Harry. There appeared to have been a simple misunderstanding because we had not travelled by coach and were perhaps not fully aware of the importance of adhering strictly to the designated dinner times. We had informed the reception staff that there might be a need to change our dinner time, but unfortunately this appears to have led to some confusion.

We fully accept that there may have been rules and procedures that we were expected to follow. However, we found Harry’s manner towards us unnecessarily rude and confrontational. We believe that the matter could have been handled much more politely and professionally.

Harry repeatedly emphasised his position as the overall manager of the hotel and the importance of his responsibilities for Alfa Holidays and the Regina Hotel. We fully appreciate that his role carries significant responsibility. However, we believe that a manager, particularly when dealing with guests and resolving misunderstandings, should always communicate politely, respectfully and professionally.

In our opinion, Harry would benefit from further customer service and management training, particularly in handling misunderstandings and communicating courteously with guests.

Despite this unfortunate incident, we enjoyed our holiday overall and would be happy to book another Alfa Holiday in the future. Indeed, we may consider organising another holiday with approximately 20 of our friends.

We hope that you will take this feedback constructively and look into the matter, as we would like to continue enjoying holidays with Alfa Travel in the future.
