Our recommended use for Calm mode is 1–2 sessions per day; however, using it for longer periods is perfectly safe. Many users who experience significant benefits use the device for more than 3 sessions daily to achieve better results.
We recommend 1 session (3 hours) of Calm mode during the day, and another session before going to bed in the evening. If you have sufficient time, you may also use an additional session either during sleep or in the daytime. Many users have reported higher benefits when using the device while sleeping at night.

My amofit S arrived earlier than it said so really pleased with delivery. The device is easy to use although one time I couldn't switch it off and it ran until the battery ran out. After that it was ok and I could switch it off again.
I have found that I have noticed an improvement in mood but I can only tolerate 5 minute sessions. If I go above this my sleep is worse and I can feel 'wired'. I do have a very sensitive system so less is always more for me. All in all I'm definitely finding it helpful.

Regarding the issue when you couldn't switch off the device, we believe the Lock Function might have been activated on your device, causing the buttons to become unresponsive (frozen). As shown on Page 4 of the User Manual, there are instructions for this feature. You can also watch this video for a visual guide: https://youtu.be/7I0fkTNMD2Q (The first 5 seconds demonstrate the Lock Function).
The Lock Function is particularly helpful while sleeping, as it prevents the buttons from being operated unintentionally.
Instructions for Lock Function:
1. Please first turn on the device.
2. When the device is operating, 'quickly' tap the C area (Logo button for power on&off) 3 times in a row.
3. The LED will blink in red twice, indicating that it is locked.
4. If you tap the C area 3 times in a row again, LED will blink in red once, indicating that it is unlocked.
Tip - Some users had difficulty in activating these functions if they pressed 3 times hard and slowly. Therefore, it will be easier to set this up by quickly tapping the button three times in a row.
Just for your reference, you can also connect your device to a charger and then disconnect it again to force the device switch off.

We also appreciate you sharing your experience regarding the session length. We are sorry to hear that you find it difficult to use for more than 5 minutes at a time.
When using the device for the first time, there have been cases where the users experience heart palpitation or mild headaches. This is experienced by less than 1% of users as the body adapts to external electromagnetic signals, and it has been reported that this phenomenon disappears after stopping use of the device for 1-2 days and then increasing the usage time in 30-minute increments each day. The above reactions are known to appear mainly in people with sensitive health condition, serious illnesses, or in elderly users. Your symptoms are assumed to be the body's internal reaction similar to those in the cases above.
In your case, we recommend continuing to use the device for less than 5 minutes a day for the next few days, as you are currently doing. Once you feel comfortable, you may try increasing the usage time by just 1 minute increments each day. For example, if you feel fine after adding 1 minute, you can add another minute the following day and so on.

This device WORKS - I usually get a 10 point bump in my HRV, plus there's a notable difference in how relaxed I am. It's also way easier to use regularly than Pulsetto. Just slip it around my neck and forget about it.

Excellent device for proper vagus nerve function. I use it personally and in my work. As a massage therapist, I use it on clients who have difficulty relaxing their diaphragm.

Effortless relaxation
I was very skeptical about using a Vagus nerve stimulator for my anxiety. I was desperate so I invested in this device. I have been using it daily and I have found some relief. It's effortless to use. I don't even have to think about after I turn it on. I have been using it for a month. I don't know if it will further reduce my anxiety. I'm a very happy customer

Every time I put on my amo fit I…
Every time I put on my amo fit I instantly feel better! I only wear on calm mode for now, that is what my functional psychotherapist recommended so that’s what I do.. I love it and I’m actually going to buy one for my sister and my dad.. it’s great please give it a try!
The only thing I wish was easier to find on the website is how to get it to lock.. to lock it on a mode you turn it on and then slowly tap 3 times and it will blink red then it’s in lock mode! Thank you Amo fit!

Soy una persona ansiosa y tomo medicación prescrita por siquiatra,pero siempre tenía en el estomago una sensación de encogimiento y nervios,pero con amofit a partir de usarlo 3 horas dos veces al día ,a los 15 días ya empecé a notar una mejoría en ese aspecto y a los 30 días estoy mucho mejor , ahora lo hago solo una sesión de 3 horas y va bien si me hiciera falta volveré a más,la verdad es que funciona y la atención del equipo de posventa qué tiene está empresa es de admirar,se nota qué se preocupa de la salud y sus clientes muchas gracias y seguit así.

Effective device and fantastic company
I ordered the amo-fit to help with my ongoing anxiety and the feeling of being stuck in flight and flight. It was recommended by a friend of mine. Initially I felt the effects quite strongly but then they seemed to fade and I was not sure if I would keep the device.
I contacted customer service and they kindly agreed to let me try it for a bit longer and I have to say that I do now feel it’s definitely helping, as the last couple of weeks I have definitely felt calmer. I also find it really helps me to go back to sleep when I wake up in the night.
I would absolutely recommend this ingenious little device, it’s very good value and with the money back guarantee you can’t go wrong!
