An absolutely disgusting company, ran by either dodgy or truly incapable people(pretty sure it's both). Late with pay, you have to chase them for that, others get 30 hours and brag how their friends with Angard give them more hours ,other left blowing in the wind.
useless hires more people than needed makes you get hardly any work
Totally useless overhires for royal mail so staff fight for shift on a zero hour contract got fed up and quit and finally received my p45 21 months after leaving
Not good
Very poor communication and lack of professionalism in email exchanges. Multiple times they lost my passport photo and national insurance number and had to ask for it again, even attempted to gaslight me by saying I had never sent them in the first place. The process took so long that I found and started another job in the time it took them to respond.

I'd like to share my opinion about Angard. I submitted my application and the relevant documents. I logged in correctly. I received notifications about work elsewhere several times. The proposed changes were changed before I even started working. It was supposed to be a job for about four weeks, but the waiting time was incredibly long. It's a mess, with no information and no communication between Angard employees. It's a waste of my time, and I hope they remove my documents from the system.

So for starters i apply like everyone else, do everything possible that they send over via email, get it done. So now i submit my application and get an offer for employment. there’s me thinking happy day😂 but no it gets even worse, i thought id be starting after that so i call regarding some induction days and the bloke i spoke to over the phone could barely speak english, he goes “ yh i gonna get manager to call you 10 mins” he ends it. No call back from the so called manager, i call again and the guy i then spoke to sounded like a sound guy and he acc helped me out saying “when induction days become available we’ll email you”
I then get an induction email, i replied to it within a minute of it getting sent, i call angard staffing to tell them i have replied to the email and asked for confirmation if i would get it, the guy said “ Sir for sure you’ll get in” i then receive an email couple hours later saying “due to limited space i haven’t been booked in”
Mate the whole process has made me angry that i no longer even wanna keep my application up. Terrible customer service and everything about angard is diabolical
Significant Payroll Failures and Non-Existent Communication to warn others about…
I am writing this to warn others about the systemic administrative failures at Angard Staffing.
While my experience working on the floor at Royal Mail was positive, the back-end service from Angard has been unacceptable. I encountered significant issues with the recording of my shifts, which resulted in a total lack of payment until January 9th.
The agency currently uses four different systems that do not seem to communicate with one another, leading to a complete breakdown in payroll accuracy. Despite sending numerous emails to rectify my missing wages which got paid after over 4 weeks !. They also lost my personal information during this time as well.
The lack of integration and support is extremely disappointing. If you are looking to work for Royal Mail, I strongly advise seeking direct employment rather than going through this agency. I am still waiting for a reply to my loss of personal information but I suspect I maybe waiting a long time !

Still fighting to see any payslips and to get paid for two days they missed out. Surely there are laws against treating employees this way?

Worst "agency" you could ever end up with. Loads of missed payments, trying to reach them is a nightmare. Then in the end zero communication about when my temp job with Royal Mail is finishing. Went for a shift been sent home. So overall, I am not recomending them to anyone. As long as you care for your wellbeing.
I would not recommend Angard to…
I would not recommend Angard to anybody! One month on and daily emails sent to payroll since 01/12/2025 I am yet to receive a response. I am owed wages for work completed but Angard are just ignoring me. Is this fair? The lack of any communication over every aspect of working including cancelling shifts without any notice, not listening to your preferred shift times and now no pay which has left me in debt and owing fees. This is now going to cost me money to get my own wages!! Why would anyone chose ANGARD to work with.
Bad experience with Angard
If you’re considering Angard Staffing, be aware that basic admin issues can take a long time to resolve. In my case, I experienced repeated payroll errors and shift cancellations with no explanation. Getting a response from the Payroll Query team was extremely difficult, and HR communication was inconsistent.
I was told a payroll issue would be corrected by the next payroll week, but it took two payroll cycles, a further complaint, and intervention from Royal Mail depot management (calls and emails from their side) before it was addressed.
The phone helpline was also unreliable: on multiple occasions I waited 10–15 minutes in the queue, only for the line to disconnect when I reached the front. When I did get through once, I was advised to submit a payroll query—something I had already done.
Overall, I would not recommend Angard if you need reliable communication and timely resolution of pay issues. If you want agency work with Royal Mail, consider alternatives such as Pertemps.
Insanely Poor Timesheet & Payroll Procedures
Wow, in over 45 years of work I have never experienced such an inept company. The shift recording and payroll mechanisms are next to useless, messages and calls are totally ignored, staff refuse to work on payroll issues in a timely manner and even prefer to send the employee on a wild goose chase rather than resolve the payroll issue at hand. Absolutely shocking.

Absolutely awful, incredibly short notice of shift availability you’d have to living next door to the sorting office to arrive on time. Emails at 1am & 2am to start work a few hours later. Royal Mail should be ashamed of themselves associating themselves with such dreadful work practices. Training day was also shockingly bad and pretty concerning for such a large organisation.
The worst agency ever
The worst agency ever. No communication whatsoever. They payroll team deserves a 0 starts but I can't even put that so even a 1 star is an overrating. They don't chase anything up and brush everything under the carpet by saying email us and that they can't handle any calls regarding payroll queries. The email then says 5-7 days response which is absolute rubbish because I'm still waiting over 15 days for a reply to my first email. Call after call email after email nothing is being done. Save yourself the headache and don't even bother with these amateurs.
