I originally booked online but wasn’t sure if I needed an appointment sooner so I visited the local St Helens branch first thing Monday morning. I was given an appointment within the next couple of hours and offered reassurance. On my arrival I was greeted by the staff member on reception and was directed towards the “Dog waiting area”
During the consultation everything was explained in a way that was easy to understand. The vet was very calm and understanding with my nervous dog. Medication was prescribed, a plan B was discussed in the event that it was needed and then the price was explained to me.
A great service, very friendly staff, a safe clean environment and very competitive prices. Plenty of parking outside too which was an added bonus.

My dog has been registered with them since a puppy. And have previously used them when they opened the Leeds/tingley branch. But over the last few years since moving to dewsbury the vets and the quality of care has gone downhill. I asked to see a manager today as I was seriously not happy how my dog had been treated only to be told that she was at another branch and I had to email her! This isn’t good enough They sent me my pets medical history and I have found on one record there is some other pets record! I’m not sure if data protection covers pets but I will be taking it further

I was extremely happy with the entire experience, from the moment I arrived until I handed Cleiton over to the vets. Everyone was friendly, approachable, and made me feel completely at ease during what was naturally a stressful time.

What impressed me the most was the care they took to make Cleiton feel comfortable before I left. They even accommodated a special request I made, despite it not being part of the standard process, which meant a great deal to me.

The team was professional, compassionate, and genuinely caring throughout. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Animal Trust to anyone looking for excellent veterinary care. Thank you for taking such good care of my boy!

Every vet we have seen with our dogs have been good with them. When our older dog passed they sorted out the cremation for us and return of ashes in a cremation box with inscription and sent a condolence card.

First time customer, my cat ended up having dental surgery but from beginning to end I was highly impressed with everything. The surgery is clean, the receptionists welcoming and the vets/nurses fantastic. My cat had her final checkup today and doing great. Cannot recommend this animal hospital any higher than 1000/10. Huge thanks to everyone involved.

All staff are amazing, I cannot thank gethins enough for helping my dog the last few weeks, he kept me informed and up to date with my dogs procedures he’s an absolute star 👌👌

I was very happy with my experience with Olive. She had a pre op check. The vet explained everything in detail to me. The reception staff are very helpful & the whole place is clean & hygienic.

The staff are always friendly and professional. They genuinely care about my pets welfare and always make him feel safe and secure.

I took my pet Ruby to the vet at Rhyl animal trust this morning and couldn’t be happier with the care we received. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and welcoming. The vet was kind professional and took the time to explain everything clearly, answering all my questions without making me feel rushed. Thank you to the whole staff team for looking after Ruby so well.

Excellent service from start to finish

It felt like a sales pitch to get as much money as possible out of me from the minute I walked in to the appointment.

I explained that my Dog has a growth on his leg, but also had a little bit of a seasonal allergy going on. Without even looking at my dog the nurse/vet suggested an allergy injection that was £120 but maybe be reduced to £60 with some plan I can purchase and it might work once but then again it might need repeating every four weeks. 😳 who can afford that in a cost of living crisis?

Then I was offered to get a sample of the growth taken for £150 but told it most likely won’t be any good as there may not be enough cells/contamination. I said I’d look into the allergy injection opted for growth exploration for £150 but I’m obviously expecting to be told that it’s contaminated or you didn’t get enough cells 🙄

I feel there was a lack of compassion towards my dog and it was all about SELL SELL SELL! I wouldn’t be happy to see this nurse/vet again we’ve had much better treatment from staff on previous visits.

Come on Animal Trust you can do better than this.

From the moment you walk in, you feel genuinely welcomed — and more importantly, so does your pet. The vet takes the time to explain everything clearly, answers every question with patience, and it's obvious they all truly love animals. Our dog Ellie is always in the best hands here. I highly recommend this vet practice to any pet owner!

I needed to see a vet today & phoned the failsworth branch. They had an appointment there in 15mins but I wouldn’t have got there in time. I was offered an appointment later in the day at Bolton. I accepted & arrived with Marley. We were seen within minutes. The vet checked his weight, heart etc & everything was fine. She examined him & found the problem straight away. She explained everything. She asked if I had any questions. We went to reception & left. We were in & out within 20 minutes. I’d definitely recommend Animal Trust to a normal veterinary clinic. The vets are a lot nicer & put you at ease. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We rang to say our buddy was in pain with his right eye,we were given eye drops for 2 days and after 2 days they said his eye needs to be removed because of glaucoma, from a call on Thursday the 11th they had him in for surgery on Monday 15th and he was home by the evening. His surgery went well and its healed quite quick. Consultation is free and we were given app every time we rang. Eye surgery was £519 and we sent the eye to be tested and later found out he had a Tumour and they were able to remove every bit of it, only cost £200 for the eye to be tested. Really good quality Vet's and great Value for money

I rate this organisation excellent and would highly recommend them.

After a successful operation for my dog he has recovered well with the advice given. Staff are tentative, helpful and kind listening to any concerns. Never overcrowded in the hospital waiting room which is good as some dogs can be reactive and never have to wait that long. Would definitely recommend to other as the price was great aswell compared to others.
