Am zburat de mai multe ori si totul a fost in regula; personal amabil, aeronave noi etc. Ultima experienta este una foarte buna, am fost nevoita sa imi schimb biletul (sa modific data in care calatoresc). Am trimis email, mi s-a raspuns la timp, au fost foarte amabili si au acceptat si modificarea. Recomand cu incredere!

Όλα ήταν τέλεια, από την επιβίβαση έως την αποβίβαση. Το προσωπικό, τα καθίσματα, η καθαριότητα, πρώτη φορά ταξίδεψα στην Ευρώπη με τόσο καθαρό αεροπλάνο. Μακάρι να κρατήσει έτσι και να υπάρχουν απευθείας πτήσεις από Αθήνα για Τιμισοάρα. Ευχαριστώ πολύ!
Perfectly good journey
I flew from Bucharest to Timisoara. The flight was on time, and the aircraft was what looked like a brand-new Airbus A220. I cannot really complain about anything. The crew was nice, the onboard free snack was good too, and I thought the seat was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. They offer both USB-A and USB-C on the seatback, which is nice. I had no trouble booking or checking in on the website, although an app would be better, as they send a boarding card via email. This just seems a bit old-fashioned. When I asked for a paper boarding pass at the airport, it was printed without any fuss. I would fly with this airline again. They were cheap and got me across Romania on time and in comfort.

I expected a different mindset and business model from a new airline, but that clearly wasn’t the case. I was wrong. Avoid this company at all costs, you're better off flying with the usual options like Wizz Air or Ryanair.

I can't give less than one star because…
I can't give less than one star because I would. I paid 300 euros per person for a flight to Paris and selected the Priority All Inclusive service and found out at check-in that I had to pay an additional 50 euros for each checked baggage, that I needed to upgrade to the Plus service without being told initially. That service is useless just to take your money, it's the only time I'll go with this company. The check-in staff was very rude and was unable to provide information in a timely manner, they had to call someone else. A disappointing experience.
Edit: They refuse me also priority boarding.
7h delay, no compensation received after 6 months
Our flight was the only one in that day that could not land due to weather reasons. We arrived with a delay of 7h.
Another “TOP” Romanian airline
What the joke this company. They cancelled my flight with no reason I asked for a refund and after 6 weeks still no refund. Stay away from this airline

De mult nu am mai avut asa calatorie. Cu tot dragul va dau 5 stele! Felicitari pentru tot ce faceti si sa nu schimbati nimic. Tineti-o tot asa si o sa aveti success. Un pic de intarziere, cam 40 de minute, dar e de inteles..insa calatoria a fost extraordinara, avionul parea nou cu scaune noi, subtiri, loc destul sa poti sta comfortabil iar echipajul extraordinar. Am zburat Londra - Bucuresti pe 27 Martie si inapoi pe 10 Aprilie. Va recomand din tot sufletul
Flights in time, smooth process
Maybe I was just lucky (based on the other reviews I see...), but we flew from Geneva to Bucharest, back and forth, and everything went smoothly and cleanly. There was a bit of delay when we left from Geneva (20min), but by the time we arrived they had almost recovered all of it (we arrived with some 5min delay). Sure, you don't get any food (even just water) unless you explicitly buy some, but that is the norm for most companies nowadays, so fair. The online check-in went on smoothly (did it the day before), the personnel was nice and professional (and somewhat funny). So I will definitely fly with them again
Excellent value for money, great service, and super comfortable aircraft on Bucharest to London Gatwick route
We flew with Animawings from Bucharest to London Gatwick. I was quite worried having read so many reviews complaining about delays. However, our flight took off from Bucharest precisely on time (20:00) and landed at Gatwick airport slightly ahead of schedule. Service onboard was very good, with extremely attentive cabin crew and excellent food. Considering that prices are comparable or even cheaper than other airlines (so called “budget” airlines) and that Animawings has very comfortable brand new aircrafts (flying the Airbus A220), offering free of charge seat selection and free of charge 2 cabin bags to all passengers in any class, I think it’s an excellent deal! We flew business class and as far as I know this must be one of the only (if not the only) companies operating proper business class seats on European routes, with large, reclining seats (except for some airlines operating wide-body aircrafts on European routes, such as Finnair, who are flying the Airbus A350 between London and Helsinki). I will definitely fly Animawings again, as they offer excellent value for money and super comfortable flying conditions!
I’ve flown for the first time with this…
I’ve flown for the first time with this company and was honestly worried before the flights due their bad reviews. I've flown 1 internal flight (sv-otopeni) and 1 international (otopeni-gatwick). It honestly doesn't compare with the other low cost ones (like easyJet, Ryanair, Wizz Air, TUI, Jet2holidays) and it's better if compared with economy class from BritishAirways and Aegean.
It doesn’t feel like a low-cost airline really. The planes are modern, clean, and much much more comfortable than wizz/ryan dodgy ones. Similar with Britishairways. More spacious, you can recline your chair slightly, have a space for your phone tablet etc...
On domestic flight, they served a complimentary sandwich and water, and on the international one, I was given a proper meal (although you know - don't expect michelin star food). It was rice with chicken, bread, and a soft drink of choice.
One of the 2 flights had a 15 mins delay due to a passengers' issue with their documents - the communication has been great and can't fault them.
Overall, Animawings has really been great and best price/quality airline I've flown with.

The staff at the checkin and boarding were incredible rude and unfriendly here in cluj-napoca. As a digital nomad I have a fair amount of experience wirh airlines. These days you cannot really expect a lot but Animawings is the worst airline on earth.
An airline that literally ABUSES that…
An airline that literally ABUSES that margin of non-penalty 3 hours delay. Every second flight with them results in a 2 hours and 30 minutes reschedule. I will never choose them again. 6 flights in total/ 3 of them had over 2 hours delay. The crew always finds bloody excuses.
12 hours delay
On February 21st, the flight from Bucharest to Cluj was delayed by 12 hours. The €20 vouchers they gave us were useless because the only restaurant where they could be used was on the other side of the terminal. To make matters worse, the vouchers were handed out just a few minutes before boarding started, making it impossible to use them.
Animawings has only six planes, which likely explains the frequent delays. They seem to schedule trips and sell tickets for flights they are not able to operate properly.
This was the first and last time I traveled with this company. Very disappointing experience and a clear lack of respect for passengers.

By reading the comments, I was expecting a worse experience. One way of my return flight got cancelled 2 weeks before departure and I needed to contact them for the refund. The call was 30 mins until somebody picked up, and misunderstood me by doing a refund in my Animawings account. Afterwards, I have had another call with them. after 20 minutes the person picked up and the lady was very understanding, sent me an email of confirmation while still in the call. We boarded on time and took off on time. Very satisfied with the experience, excepting the long waiting time on calls.
3 unpleasent situations with this…
3 unpleasent situations with this company:
First we had the possibility to book a flight from Bucharest to Istanbul in the morning or in the afternoon. The morning flight was more expensive. We booked that one. 2 weeks before the flight we were informed that the schedule changed to the afternoon. No refund.
2. Bucharest - Istanbul flight was supposed to leave at 17:40 we had a 2 and a half hours delay.
3. Istanbul - Bucharest flight supposed to leave again at 17:40 , another almost 3 hours delay.
Not reliable. I won t book with them again.

They canceled the flight and reassigned us to another of their flights two days later, making our vacation plan a mess. I understand is frequent practice for them. No other reason than making cuts I suppose.
