No way would l get on one of your trains,,, you have lost all credibility with late trains cancelled trains strikes high prices and many accidents are happening now,,,, the advert on TV telling people to get trains just makes us laugh,,,, go bankrupt you deserve it.

Unfortunately you have to give a star to even leave a review but it’s certainly not one the company deserves. Whilst the big wigs at the top are creaming off the profits from charging a fare to use a suboptimal service carried out by suboptimal staff who literally cannot be arsed to be there, there are genuine people spending money from their hard earned jobs to play sardines in a dirty carriage. Honest to god as a British citizen have I even been so embarrassed to call this a bloody service. Your company and your staff are absolutely diabolical

First time on the new Llandudno to Liverpool train. What a joke. It's Saturday, Chester Races are on and there are two carriages. Seen trains in India that are less crowded. It's boiling hot and you can't open windows. Dangerous. People moan about Health & Safety but they could do with looking at this service. Like cattle going to slaughter.

The staff on the Ariva Trains are so lovely! I got caught accidentally on the wrong train, and the conductor was extremely helpful, he advised me which station to get out on to get the right train back and avoid the rain.
Other times, the drivers, conductors and other staff have been so kind and understanding, always giving sound information and advice with patience... It makes the journey so much easier. Massive thank you

Currently on a service from Gloucester to Cardiff. It’s Saturday morning. There are people stood up everywhere in every carriage. There are only 3 carriages though. Many are going to watch the rugby in Cardiff & despite this being a routine & typical event, ARRIVA are proving once again that the only thing they’re interested in is your money with as little investment as possible. The train left late anyway from Gloucester. The entire train is packed with standing crowds & god forbid the carnage if there was an accident with so many people stuffed on board. The infrastructure is an entirely avoidable joke that will never change for as long as the clowns are in charge. And how poor also that those standing would have paid the same amount of money as those that are seated. This train service is an embarrassment to the country. We should have public services to be proud of. Instead, it’s an abysmal reflection of the country’s attitudes to competence.

Appalling company. Continuously late. Abysmal communication, and I am now waiting at Chester for a connection to North Wales. Many people are stuck at Chester for an hour because of your staff’s inability to communicate that a train was splitting and giving them no time to transfer from the airport train, over the bridge to the platform. Utter disgrace.
My outbound journey was delayed due to signaling too and cancelled the last two stops of the journey.

What I would like to know as this happens all the time as I travel to wales around 5 times a year from Newcastle why one of the busiest services especially in the holidays only ever has 2 carriages so you end up squashed and filling up the aisles it’s actually ridiculous

I had left a bag on a train, the previous day, and went to see if it had been handed into lost property. This was at Cardiff Central.
The lady at the ticket office was lovely and very helpful. I was directed to go to platform 6 to ask in lost property. On the platform, a supervisor called Kate was superb and went well out of her way to try and locate the bag. Contacting other colleagues to ask and then updated me.
I was so impressed by her and she was very kind.

I then boarded a train to Heath high level. The ticket inspector on the train was also very friendly and tried to help when I explained what happened.

I wish to say thank you to the staff who tried to help. It was much appreciated and a great experience. Hopefully the bag will appear soon!

Partner wanted to go from Nantwich to Whitchurch. Got on at Nantwich to then be told it was a direct train and won't stop on Whitchurch. So why stop in Nantwich then and let people on. Then the following week again going from Nantwich to Whitchurch, the train is delayed. It always seems to be delayed.

My partner saved up money for a year to book me a surprise holiday for us and our 2 year old. Neither of us can afford to drive so she booked a train journey. Only to find the trains been cancelled all day. Nice.

I dropped my ring and he won’t reverse to let me get it and it was 50 pounds

Extremely expensive service and only a two carriage train. It cost me £9 to travel one stop, but prior to arriving at the train station the price quoted on National Rail was £6. The train was also late, which sadly seems to be the norm for Arriva trains.

Transport for Wales are useless again. Broke down again with only 2 carriages for loads of people.. same story every time . Absolutely awful

Prices going up, for what? Never enough carriages on the trains, over crowded - can hardly ever sit down.

The trains are always filthy, sort it out PLEASE.

Train to go direct won't go past Shrewsbury? Train to continue not where it was meant to be although stated arrived ? Told it could be an hour, so advised a train not going to our station. To get on it to see other arrived as we were leaving. All of this is due to total lack of correct information and falsehoods of direct trains.

Travelling from Rhyl to Conwy on a weekend in June and Arriva provide just a two car train.The service was delayed by 10 minutes and on entering the train it was packed to the rafters with hardly space to stand.In what is the obvious norm Arriva provide little service in a cynical attempt to save on costs.Why are they allowed to carry on in such a manner is beyond me.I am not one to leave negative views but the lack of quality and proper service is unforgivable.Step in Welsh government and give the paying public what they deserve.

Just went on a short journey today with my daughter ( wheelchair user) we usually walk or drive but she hasn't been in a train in ages, the staff were all so lovely and helpful making sure they knew our destination stop beforehand to ensure the ramps were down, I was a little nervous beforehand but I needn't have been. Thank you 🙂

Serious safety concerns using these trains. Im really not going to be surprised when someone takes you to court due to injuries
