If I could give them less than one star I would. I ordered an Egg carry cot stand for my daughter and was advised 7-10 days delivery. 10 days came and went and no delivery, I emailed the company and they eventually replied saying they were still in time frame for working days. Nowhere on their delivery note does it say working days, which I replied with. No response, I emailed again and was advised they were awaiting delivery from the warehouse. If I would have known they did not hold the items for despatch, I would never have purchased from this website. Abysmal communication thrown in for good measure. After umpteen emails to them and poor communication, coming up on 3 weeks since placing the order, I received notification from DPD (carrier) that they had my item and it would be delivered the following day, again no communication from company until after DPD contact. All in all very poor service from this apparently family run business. I will not be recommending this company to anyone and would advise all considering using this website to shop elsewhere.

As per most of the other reviews I've read, shocking website and definitely do not recommend buying from them. I bought an Egg stroller (not cheap) on the 23rd June, delivery stated 7-10 days. I emailed 8 days in to check in because I had had no email to specify dispatch etc. I received an email back telling me they were expecting my order from warehouse the next week and once they had received it it would be sent next day delivery and they would email to update me. Its now Saturday of this week and ive heard absolutely nothing. Now 2 weeks and 4 days since I placed the order. What is the point of paying hundreds for an item you're apparently never going to receive. I cant even buy elsewhere as I can't afford to pay out another £400. Wish I'd gone elsewhere and now don't know what to do.

Really bad service. I ordered a car seat which i then was advised could take up to 21 days to come into stock, I advised that this was needed urgently, towards the end of the 21 days I was advised it was not coming into stock and my refund would take up to 15 days, so no seat out of pocket and a massive waste of my time. Don't bother go elsewhere is my advice.
I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with Baby Bird.
I ordered a car seat on a Sunday but cancelled my order just a few hours later, well before it should have been dispatched. Unfortunately, no one responded to my cancellation request, and the order was sent anyway.
Now I’m expected to pay the return shipping costs, even though the item should never have been dispatched in the first place if my cancellation had been acknowledged. I find this extremely unfair.
To make matters worse, the customer service has been very poor. It’s difficult to get a response, and there seems to be very little willingness to help resolve the issue.
Overall, I’m very disappointed with both the customer service and the way my cancellation was handled. I wouldn’t recommend shopping here based on my experience.

Absolute JOKE of a business! Order a mattress to then it not come and they say you need to upgrade £5 because it’s in stock so I do and then DPD tracking number doesn’t work and it says next day and STILL haven’t received it and that was 25th June!!!

Diabolical
Placed order on 10th June & advised that it will take 7 - 10 days for delivery. When item not received by 24th, I asked for order to be cancelled as I needed item by 30th June. You can't ring & everything has to be done by email. Despite requesting order to be cancelled, it arrived on 1st July when I was away. Very poor customer service.
Appalling service
Appalling service, ordered a travel pram- overdue still not heard a single thing bar one reply. Money being taken. Have taken this further with my bank as potential fraud since they are ignoring emails, DM’s and cannot get through since it’s an automated phone service. Delivery states 5-7 days it’s been nearly 2 weeks.
Do not order from this company they’ll take your money and ignore you!
Awful experience
Awful experience! Order never arrived, no communication after contacting for over a month, by this point I was about a week from giving birth with no car seat, no expected date and being told I couldn’t have a refund. Customer service is shocking and only got money back through my Amex to be able to buy elsewhere! Avoid at all costs!!!!!

I ordered a stroller on 6th June for an upcoming holiday. There was no where on the website to suggest the stroller wasn’t immediately available for dispatch but on my confirmation email it said it would be delivered “mid June”. I’ve chased them multiple times but it’s proving very difficult to speak to someone. The phone number provided does not accept incoming calls without an extension number and then directs you to a different email address than the one stated on the website…
Email replies have taken multiple days and instagram chat got back to me immediately and then ignored my messages requesting a refund.
I was told last week it would be delivered this week and now this week I am being told next week. I no longer have any time to wait on this delivery and have requested a refund to no reply.
We are now on the 1st of July and am no further forward.
I wish I had read the reviews before ordering from this company.
10/10 would avoid, customer service for pricey items is just not good enough.

Terrible customer service. Ordered a car seat on the 5th June. No communication from them to say it was out of stock. I've had to chase and chase and am now being ignored. Still no update as to when my car seat will be delivered. Avoid.

DONT BUY FROM BABY BIRDS!!!!!!!!! Bought a very expensive car seat (over 300£) almost a month ago with expected delivery from 7-15 days and didn’t receive any updates. I tried contacting them by email because by phone they don’t answer and the only reply I got was that they’re waiting for the stock but no deadline or anything else. Never experienced such a poor customer service especially with a safety item.

I bought a "in stock" item which was promised to be deliver in 7-15 working days. Ordered 10th May and the item arrived 20th June which is 34 working days. After the 15 working days explaining I could not wait any longer as I was due in two weeks and the item still hadn't come into stock, I asked for a full refund and to cancel my order multiple times.
You also cannot call them as you don't have an extension number, despite me asking for a extension number multiple times. I was ignored. They also take days at a time to get back to you.
The item arrived and now they won't get back to me about returning the items. I explained I had already bought from someone else as I couldn't wait for the car seat any longer.
Fantastic family business
I visited baby birds in store to try out a travel system I had seen online and I’m so glad I did. The staff were extremely helpful, and we were very lucky to have Adam show us a few different systems and answer any questions we had. I felt completely comfortable in store and once finding out it was a family business I was even more glad to have made the trip to them. I ended up purchasing my travel system with them and the customer service since has been excellent. I’ve directed friends their way since and would recommend to anyone purchasing for a new mum and baby!

I would not recommend ordering from this company.
I placed an order for an egg stand on 6th June, and the website stated delivery would be 7–10 days. It is now 27th June—21 days later—and I still haven’t even received an email confirming that my order has been dispatched.
When I contacted customer service, it took them ages to reply. They told me I would receive my order this week, but that hasn’t happened. They then tried to say the delivery timeframe is 7–10 working days, which is not what is clearly stated on the website. If that’s the case, they should make that clear before customers place an order.
I needed this stand before I go away, as my child needs it to be able to sleep safely in their bassinet. As it became obvious the order wasn’t going to arrive in time, I requested a refund.
The customer service has been extremely poor throughout, and I’ve now had to raise a chargeback with my bank because I have no confidence that I’ll receive the item when I needed it.
I really wish I’d ordered from another company instead—I could have had the item delivered the very next day and avoided all of this frustration.

I have always found Baby Birds to be a very honest and honourable company so I am very confused by these other reviews I can see as their customer service has never been anything but friendly and helpful to me. Do yourself a favour and pay the 5% more your item will cost elsewhere.
We ordered our pushchair over a month ago and heard nothing until we chased. Blame has been placed on their supplier, their phone lines don't work and emails don't get responded to.
I should've checked the reviews before shopping with them. Now feel like a bit of an idiot.
EDIT: See their reply below. I requested a refund and they said it would be "within 14 working days"...so very much NOT immediately!
What this means is I will end up 7 weeks out of pocket with no push chair.

Awful customer service
Awful customer service. Do not order from them unless you want them to keep your money for an item you returned.
They have confirmed they received my return and now 2 weeks later will not give me my money.
No phone number to speak to anyone about it and an absolutely useless email response where you just get ignored about the actual question you’re asking.
