Just paid £149 for the year to be told they can’t prescribe or send you for blood tests all I was told was “go to your GP” if I could ever get through to my GP I wouldn’t have needed to WASTE £149 on this scanning service I cannot believe their service is “referrals” and all they do is refer you back to the GP you can never get through to . Absolutely disgusting service

You can get an appointment in no time, you don’t need to leave your house, it’s a bit of a pain if you need to physically see them but miles easier than the local GP

Encountered the worst experience possible with Babylon (Euston travel clinic).

Me and my husband have been a patient of Babylons from the very beginning and now I’m starting to see they are no different from any other bogus GPs.

I did everything possible from my end to get this face-to-face appointment. Had a digital consultation and then was refer to be seen by a travel clinician for my baby’s vaccines. Bearing in mind that it’s not very quick and easy to get a face-to-face appointment now than it was back in 2018.

We’re in the car travelling to the Euston clinic (1 hr journey) and we get a call from the clinic 15 minutes before our allocated appointment time saying that they can no longer see us as it appears on their system that we didn’t speak to a travel nurse digitally. I spoke to a GP (Dr Grace Rollason) digitally who then referred my daughter to get her jab done via the app (Nurse Ashmita Bauluck). Whose fault is that?

The gentleman on the other end of the phone was so abrupt and rude and showed no lack of sympathy towards our situation, it’s totally shameful. Really has put a bad name for Babylon as a whole.

Now I’m having to go 2 steps back because we didn’t apparently follow your rules and protocols. Sorry to say but we spoke to a GP digitally we were then booked in by that same GP for next steps. How on earth are we meant to know what processes you have. We followed what your practitioner advised us to do.

The number that reached out to us and cancelled our appointment was: 020 3880 8698. Whoever called us was VERY RUDE and inconsiderate. I don’t know how on earth they’ve been recruited to be the face of the organisation. It’s sickly humorous.

The Doctor are very understandable and very helpful. I'm glad to bee registered there.

Tried to get registered through the bablyon health app. Kept on getting my identity verification refused. Called their support line and they said they had an it problem .thanks for not telling us this on any of their websites. An email sent to babylon health said they will reply to my request to have my identity verified within three days. Rubbish service

Best GP Surgery I've had. Much easier and faster to get an appointment. Very professional and throughout doctors and medical personnel. Includes specialists from all kinds of medical fields. If you need to be seen in person or have treats done, it's very easy to go to the physical clinics to do so. Highly recommend.

We switched to GP at Hand / Babylon Health after lengthy consideration. The fear of the unknown and GP practices generally being pretty awful. However, things became progressively worse over time at our local GP (and most other local GPs are no better) such as ignoring hospital correspondence for months and months on end.

We switched to GP at Hand and apart from a few minor issues (e.g. appointment cancelled their end for no apparent reason, but this has improved where if they cancel an appointment (happens rarely) a substitute appointment is arranged) we have been more than impressed with their service, the level of care, the fact that we don't have to start trying to get through to a GP's reception at 8 am on the dot and all the associated issues.

We have been able to make same day appointments and where a face to face has been required we have been able to get that mostly the same day or the next day.

Even if we cannot get a same or next day virtual GP appointment we can speak / video call a nurse/chemist etc.

On one occasion we had a virtual appointment with a nurse at 9.30 PM and were able to get into see a GP face to face the next morning at 9.10 AM!

The app is not perfect but it is getting there and they are open and receptive to feedback.

I cannot recommend GP at Hand highly enough if it is available where you are as a replacement for the local NHS GP.

If it was not available as an NHS GP for us we would not have hesitated to pay the £149 a year for the virtual/telephone GP service.

The online consultations worked great me time wise.

Yea, if you're LGBT stay away from this nightmare. They will try to riddle you with mental health codes to try and stop meds you're on. Stop hiring mentally ill delusional religious people that think their religion has to be enforced through mental health. JOG right on out of here. Canceling last minute now ever since ya'll religious views are now in question because you're helping someone for someone else other than sexual wellness. MY ADHD AND AUTISM IS NOT CONNECTED TO WHAT I DO IN THE BEDROOM I SHOULDNT HAVE TO EXPLAIN THAT TO DOCTORS.

Babylon health is the best health care system I can immagine. I am a fit and healthy 72 year old but do occasionally have reason to seek healthcare. Before I joined Babylon GP at Hand. Seeing a doctor or seeking medical advice was a chore. Long waits, dingy waiting rooms full of sad and sick people. Often mediocre care.
Now I just open the app select my time of appointment and have a consultation. If I need to actually see someone it is quickly and easily arranged at one of many locations. They have offered me to specialists when necessary. Again quick and easy. All staff without exception are kind. Polite and efficient. Premises are clean efficient and well equipped. If you value your health just sign up now. It's all free on the NHS too. 7 stars. If this where widely available the NHS could save billions and we would all be healthier and probably happier.

I was seen via Bupa's online GP service (Babylon) by Dr Stephen D Robertson. At the time, I requested last minute malaria medication for my child. He asked no questions about her general health or why the travel was last minute. Spoke to me like I was an uneducated/unintelligent - when I raised concerns about the effect of the prescribed medication on her kidneys (she has some issues there) - which a simple google search would have indicated to him that the drug manufacturers suggest should be taken into account and a reduced dose prescribed. Did not take into account any of my concerns, then failed to issue any prescription, referring me to a travel clinic.

As our travel was to an African country (where FGM is not common or customary, but "may" be practised in rural communities), he assumed that was what our visit was for (note, he never inquired) and upon seeing black faces reported us to social services as a child "at risk" because I only requested 2 weeks medication when the visit was for 3 months; news flash malaria medicine is cheaper in Africa. He made various incorrect statements: that malaria was the world biggest killer - it is not, not even the biggest killer in low income countries; that it attacks the liver not the kidneys - it can attack both; the medication is less severe than the infection - not if you have counterindications, such as compromised kidneys.

He may be a "good" doctor, but I found his service condescending, negligent and discriminatory. He jumped to conclusions which were illogical and based on prejudice and provided information that was factually incorrect. It was my fault because I referred to a doctor, who I hoped would take into account my child's health in prescribing, rather than rocking up to a pharmacy and just purchasing the medication myself.

I would not recommend him if you are a person of colour with last minute travel plans involving children. Wearing an abaya on the call probably didn't help either. Unless you (a) want your life completely disrupted, and your child scared witless by a surprise visit from the police and social services (b) enjoy being treated like a stereotype and (c) like being condescended to, all for a simple travel request, DO NOT refer to this doctor.

I am new to Babylon GP at Hand and I am very pleased with the care which I received so far.
The only downside is that it needs more Centres covering North London when a face-to-face visit is necessary.

Very efficient, easy to book online system. Efficient availability (same or next day appts), friendly practitioners and staff. Very happy with the service

Babylon is a joke for people that need a psychological therapy. After an intake appointment, they ask you to call to their customer center to see if they have a therapist available (btw, you can’t even choose them). The thing is that they never have any therapist available at all, so you have to keep calling them until you are in luck. This could last for weeks and even months. They should be the ones that call you back when they have a therapist for you at least, but they don’t care. Moreover, I realized that for a therapy session (45 mins long) they have charged to my insurance over $300 dollars, which is insane. If they get that amount of money they should be able to hire more therapists, but probably they pay them a crap. They are scammers.

Since we started having a family this GP practice seems unable to deal with children. I’m unable to get an appointment within a one week period which just isn’t sufficient when your baby needs antibiotics. They are avoiding saying anything urgent by just recommending you go to A&E when it’s not appropriate. I joined seven years ago when Babylon was still new. I have been loyal and previously recommended people to the service. The service was great until a few years ago and I was able to see a GP the same day or the next day. This is no longer the case it’s become significantly worse and I’m going to re-register with my local GP. Even if you do get an appointment then the GPS often cancel.

Awful- doctor was ok - had to fill in forms before he could prescribe- one of the forms sent had an error code 404 the other would not allow you to save or upload! Doctor called back for review of the forms. I said I had spent 16 mins on call with support and she had no idea on what to do couldn’t even see the links they had sent! Doctor called for the second time. Doctor could do nothing without these forms and admitted he also got a 404 code! Interesting that whilst on the phone to him they sent that form via email ( too late ) then called me 15 mins later to say they had done what they could and no refund? 1st form still not completed as could not upload or save? 2nd form sent whilst on the call to the doctor? Also have copies of the call logs.! Useless customer service, money grabbing and not fit for purpose. I will be taking my complaint higher! Trading standards need to take a look at this company sooner rather than later.

This place is unethical and unprofessional. Run by incompetent people that won't hire any type of diversity with a higher degree than them. Insecurities creating their job security. Inferiority complex is real with their hiring management. This is why no one has ever heard of them.

That’s probably the best GP service I used. You can speak to a nurse usually very quickly and GP appointment are on average quicker than many GP practice. Often there are appointments also on Sundays and late evening. It is better to stick with a GP if you can. I have recently been looking after very well and got prescribed several blood test and other test fairly quickly

What a joke. Booked an appointment after waiting over half an hour the GP didn’t show up and then sent a message saying sorry we missed you! And the laugh of it is I’m paying for this via my health insurance. How can they play around with peoples health like this?? You absolute scammers

Babylon purports to provide services, including for mental health support. In fact they do not. The only therapists they have available do “intakes”. AFTER the intake you get a number to call for your first appointment- at that point you find out there is no such thing because they have no one who can see patients. They advise you to call in every week for who knows how many weeks. Imagine going to the grocery store, filling a shopping cart, being led to believe you will leave with food only to be told at check out that there is no way to check out and no idea when that might happen. At the very least Babylon should let clients know upfront that they cannot provide services and don’t know when that will change. And stop taking money from insurance companies and tax payers under the guise that they ARE providing services. Just be truthful upfront.
