The shop Manager was excellent
The shop Manager was excellent. He understood what we needed and helped us decide on what we wanted. Communication was really good and on the day I picked up the bike, everything was ready and waiting for me!!

Needed a simple clarification from the shop, about a pair of pedals bought on line( it wasn't abundantly clear which was left or right) ...thanks for the speedy assesment from the assistant.

Click and (wait and) collect
I bought a nice saddle at a nice price with click and collect. "Ready in 3 days" the confirmation email said. I've had delays with Balfes before so gave it 5. No sign of it then. I asked the shop staff to text me when it was ready. Another 5 days on, I got the SMS. Please Balfes, change your standard email and get the shop to message your customers when their order arrives. And please make it less than 10 days. Posting it would have been much quicker. Can't fault the staff in the Sutton store though. Always helpful and polite, despite the disappointing logistics set up they're having to work with on click and collect
