this was absolute dog water couldn't cook a single thing using this i would rather ask my 90 year old blind grandma to teach me how to cook, whatever you do not use this awfull website beware if you do you might catch food poisoning

Won’t let me unsubscribe from the emails, I’ve tried multiple times, emailed and added the sender to my blocked list and somehow they’re still coming through this is ridiculous

looked forward to trying the updated clasic lasagne Feb 2023 issue. I cannot beleive you try every recipe. The end product wobbled when I took it out of the oven then I found out why, I tipped out a 1/4 pint of oil it was disgusting thank goodness I was not cooking for guests.

Multiple issues with the web-site and app. Web-site often slow to do anything, especially print. Won't search in my saved recipes. And so on. Shame, since I like the recipes. Can't print the 'App only' specials and so on. Wish I hadn't paid and won't renew. Instead of trying to get subs for the magazines, they should fix the app and web-site.

March 2023 magazine. 6 March starts BRITISH National Pie Week. I was looking forward to my magazine to find some interesting pie recipes as we are celebrating the occasion. Was I unlucky, recipes from all round the world but not even a mention of a longstanding british tradition.What a disapointment.

I registered for 3 month subscription to BBC Good food but didn't cancel as I had not received notification of renewal. They took £22.50 from my account without prior notification. I understand the Direct Debit Guarantee states a customer should be notified prior to a change and as the DD was increased without prior notification I should have been informed.

I have emailed several times but haven't had a response.

I will now contact my bank for a refund.

Enrolled in a paid for masterclass series. I did not get access to all the lessons mentioned, so I emailed Good Food. Tried two different email contact addresses on the website and have had no response from either. Class was rubbish as well for what it cost and the content was mediocre and basic.

Dreadful App. Website said recipe I wanted was exclusive to the App so I downloaded. Recipe did not come up on search and the things that did required a subscription. Money grabbing bxxxxxd’s. Will be deleting the App, won’t be using website again or buying the magazine.

1. I wish that you would publish reader’s reviews of recipes as an indication of how easy/tasty they are.
Readers often come up with ideas and twists which greatly extend and improve recipes.

2 It’s very frustrating that you publish ‘Chef’s Best One-Pot Meals’ - but don’t actually give the recipes! - eg‘Pad see ew gai’, biryani, and chicken tagline m’qualli in the current edition (p 20)

I have lost my issues 3 times, this has to be by far the WORST app, I have ever used in my whole life. I have been subscribing to the good food magazine for nearly 10 years! Since 2014!! I now only have less than a handful of issues, I changed my ipad to an andriod tablet and lost all issues. They resolved this for me after a month of constant emails. A few months later the app crashed and wouldn't re open on my tablet, so I deleted the app and redownloaded it, and AGAIN I had lost all the issues, including the new ones I had paid for since switching my tablet, at this time I changed my subscription as it was up for renewal, I paid for a year a few months ago and now it's saying I need to pay for January and February issues!!!! I am so cross at having to waste my time emailing them and not benefiting from this app at all!! Best magazine, worst app and customer service!!!!

The magazine itself is always a good source of recipes. But the app for digital subscribers (not to be confused with the recipe search app, which they charge separately for despite it having much of the same content) is not fit for purpose. Issues show up days or even weeks after they appear on the newsstand. The app crashes constantly, recipes take ages to load and the search function is so slow and limited as to be useless. Tech support just advised to uninstall & reinstall app - it took a dozen attempts to log back in, my bookmarks had all vanished and none of the problems were fixed. I've started relying on the (free) website instead, and will either switch to a paper subscription or cancel it altogether when this one expires.

Wow wow wow wow. We are just on the train home after one of the best days we’ve had out in forty years. Our son booked us tickets to the Mylakeland VIP area at the Good food show for my 70th and wow what a treat it was.
Julie, Charlotte and Zoe were the warmest, most friendly people we’ve ever come across, we were looked after like royalty from the moment we put foot in the room, they all spent time with us chatting and it was so natural and genuine that it felt like we have known them all for years.
We thought meeting James Martin was going to be the highlight of the day but meeting those three woman topped it. We will definitely book again.
Thank you Lakeland and good food show for putting on a wonderful area and employing the most wonderful staff. Please tell Julie we will be up to see her soon in to buy everything and try the roasties. Simply wonderful.

Awful christmas edition of good food magazine.
Full of adverts without one recipe you actually would want to cook. I had been looking forward to this magazine. What a disappointment. Boring with a capital B. Such a total waste of money...

Since the recent update, the app now only works in Portrait mode, so I cannot use my fixed keyboard with it! It’s also very slow, and difficult to manoeuvre, so I have cancelled my subscription. I ask, does anyone actually check these updates before implementing then?

Used topside recipe, disaster! Do not use this recipe, ruined our Sunday lunch!

Rubbish. I am moving abroad so had asked to convert my paper subscription to a digital one. They took my money - but I can’t access the digital magazine. They said to register a new account - but because it recognises my old email address it won’t let me. Tried using a new email address but it then wants me to pay for a new subscription. Instructions are hopeless - ‘register a new account from the app’ - when the app doesn’t even give me that as an option. Seriously, sort this out. I’ve been a print subscriber for many many years - am now just wishing I’d cancelled rather than convert to digital. And by the way, they told me when I converted that I could read the magazine on my laptop. Not true - only on a phone or tablet. Feel seriously mistreated here

Really? So disappointed. Was such a good resource for free recipes that I had built up over time. Now chargeable. Not impressed will go elsewhere.

I have been subscribing to BBC good food magazine for years and now found that to access a recipe that was on the cover of a September issue last year, I have to PAY £2.49 to see the recipe online. I have misplaced the copy of the magazine that I kept for that specific recipe.
I have to pay twice for a recipe? No.
BBC Good Food just lost me and a few friends after telling them about it!

I have been receiving the good food magazine for years and have loved it and have kept many a great recipe which I have cooked over and over. But lately the last 2 years it has become a ‘busy mum quick fix dinner’ read. All the recipes are similar effort to an open sandwich ( in fact a lot of the recipes are open sandwiches.)
It seems to be aimed now at people who don’t like to cook and just need to put food on the table. Will be cancelling subscription.

I've used the good food site for many years, but recently the web management has been shoddy, links don't work or are still set to the previous days heading. The site doesn't appear to update until later in the day and recipes posted are old.
