I ordered a very large, expensive rug on Feb 6. When the order had not arrived 2 months ago I contacted them via the chat on the website and was told would take another 4 weeks. I have received zero communication since. Last week I went to contact them again and their website is closed and are not replying to repeated emails, phone calls and Instagram messages. This is a scam and I now looking into taking this further.

I ordered a rug from Berber Handicraft the beginning of 2026. A woman from BH. named Sara reached out with a photo of my rug on a loom and said it would ship around march 9. It’s now May 23. I’ve tried emailing, insta DM and comment, and have received no response. I’m assuming at this point I’ve been scammed. Very very disappointed.

Unfortunately, this company seems to be a scam. i never received my rug. I bought the rug for about 525 euros (about $600) and placed the order at the end of February. Estimated time to ship was 4 weeks. I emailed them asking for an update, and they promptly communicated that because of delays, my rug was set to ship April 6th. Okay, that was fine. Well, April 6th came and went, and it's now mid-May. I have sent several emails and have received no response. I'm so disappointed, was really excited for this rug.

I ordered a rug back in December and finally my rug arrived after a long wait. It was truly worth the wait amazing craftsmanship and attention to detail. Much respect and appreciation, thank you berberhandicraft 🤍

SCAM.

Unfortunately this company is a scam.

Ordered my rug in the beginning of March with expected deilivery time beginning of April (according to their website).

I've been e-mailing them once a week since the beginning of April to get an update on the status. (5 weeks now). No response what so ever.

I made an order on December 2025. I waited three month my order. I wanted to cancel the order but the seller refused to do so. When this carpet did arrive, it had been lying around for a month and I just threw it, it was falling apart very shed fibers. My vacuum cleaner couldn't stand it and neither did I. In the end, I can say this is a SCAM.

We have sent two emails and called and left messages to inquire about the status of the rug and have not received a response. The rug was ordered on February 4, almost three months ago.

I made an order on November 2025 and it’s time I haven’t received any information about my order. Honestly I wouldn’t recommend to buy here it is a scam. I have sent emails since January and they just responded once. I am very disappointed.

As someone who values craftsmanship and tradition, this Berber rug truly spoke to me. You can feel the story in it, the patience and heritage woven into every detail. It feels meaningful, not just decorative.

The wool is thick and grounding, and the design brings warmth and balance to the room. I loved being able to see a mockup before purchasing, it made the whole process feel thoughtful.

Shipping was fast, the rug arrived beautifully packaged, and the experience from start to finish felt genuine. This is more than a rug, it has real presence. Thank you Berber Handicraft :D

Je suis absolument ravie de mon tapis berbère. La qualité est au-delà de mes attentes, laine épaisse, finitions soignées, et un vrai caractère artisanal qui donne immédiatement du cachet à la pièce.

Les couleurs sont profondes et chaleureuses, encore plus belles en vrai.

J’ai particulièrement apprécié la possibilité de recevoir un mockup avant l’achat. Ça m’a vraiment aidée à me projeter dans mon intérieur et à choisir en toute confiance.

La livraison a été très rapide et le tapis est arrivé parfaitement emballé. Une expérience fluide du début à la fin. Je recommande sans hésiter.

I couldn’t be happier with my new rug. The Moroccan craftsmanship is absolutely beautiful, you can truly feel the care and attention in every detail. The materials are soft, natural, and what I love most is that it doesn’t feel mass-produced. It feels special, almost like a keepsake you’ll want to save forever.

The stitching is clean, the finishing is flawless, and the quality is far beyond what I expected.

I’m so in love with my new rug, it’s so comfortable which is very cozy underfoot. The color are nice and vibrant which is exactly what I was looking for. And a lovely mockup was provided by Sofian before completing our order, thank you so much Berber Handicraft ❤️

The rug ordered from Berber Handicraft is gorgeous, very well made with a luscious thick pile. I love the pattern and colour, they look just like they did on their website.
The rug took a little longer to arrive than I was initially told, but Sofian answered my emails very quickly and kept me informed about what was going on.
Would definitely recommend buying one of Berber Handicrafts beautiful rugs, it looks wonderful in our living room and has made it super cosy!

Great rug! Really jazzes up our room and is comfortable/cushiony to walk on. Worth the wait.

This gave my rental a cozy upgrade. No weird odor out of the packaging. Feels like something I’d expect to cost more Clear tracking, careful packaging, and the rug looks great in natural light I’d recommend Berberhandicraft to friends.

I’m honestly so happy with this rug! It completely changed the look of my living room and makes it feel so cozy and warm. The texture is soft, and the colors match my furniture perfectly. It arrived fast and was packed nicely. Every time I walk in, it just makes the space feel more “me.” Definitely one of my favorite buys lately!

Last Update: We received the rug and we are elated!! OMG, it is unbelievably beautiful. We are so happy. So in the end, it was so worth the wait. You will likely wait longer than the website states, but it is so worth it!

I am removing an awful review saying how I thought these guys were scammers, to happily say that my rug has been shipped. I have waited for this news for 10 weeks, with very little response to my emails. But I now understand that this is a very young business with some growing pains. From the sweet emails I got after I posted the first awful trust pilot review, I trust that they will improve. I wish them all the best.

I honestly bought this on a whim during a late night scroll and I’m SO GLAD I did. The rug is exactly my style and feels so nice under my feet. No regrets, 10/10.

So I almost never leave reviews for stuff, but honestly, this deserved it Customer service was quick to get back to me when I emailed with questions, which was great. And the rug itself? Way better in person than the pictures showed I'm seriously impressed. Definitely deserves five stars.
