Berkeley home has the worst after sales…
Berkeley home has the worst after sales service. I bought an apartment at Carrara Tower, 250 city Road, London. There is a water leak in the ceiling of the apartment. It has been almost 2 years that they have not resolved my complaint . They are giving excuses one after another every month. I even reported the matter to NHBC but even they do not enforce any action against them . The water pours down at the time of heavy rain and is dangerous for the occupants and the apartment itself. Its been 2 years and their excuses are that the repair depends upon weather.
A worst company to deal with. Will never recommend anyone to buy from Berkeley group

Very Unfriendly Team, Delayed Construction, Not giving Full Information
We are in the middle of purchasing a home with the Berkeley group. Their customer service team has been very disappointing, hounding us for our bank accounts every day, and not allowing us to know the precise measurements of our home. We are so sad as this will be our first home purchase, but its tainted with this absolutely negative and unhelpful customer service.

Berkeley can provide us a confident about the date of property completion and handover, and we can make better arrangement about the financial matters.
Besides, staff communication is excellent and can offer a helping hand to us whenever necessary.
In general, the experience is very good.

Appreciation- King's Tower
I had great experiences with my purchase and recent completion/handover of an apartment at Chelsea Creek King's Tower. I am particularly satisfied with the Relationship Manager Ms. Maggie Xu, who has been assigned to my case two years' ago. Maggie is very professional, she always taking initiatives providing services.
Unacceptable delay in dealing with dangerous windows at high-rise building
Residents of a high-rise building in London are living in fear due to the dangerous condition of the building's windows. Three windows have already fallen, and strong winds have caused others to malfunction. The building management company has been trying to get Berkeley Homes to help to address this critical safety issue for over three months, but has been met with silence and unhelpful responses.
The developer has failed to provide a solution or take any responsibility for the windows, despite the fact that the building is a relatively new development. The current lease agreement puts the unrealistic burden of window maintenance on individual tenants, which is impossible given the building's design and height.
The developer is putting the safety of residents at risk with their lack of communication and inaction.
Moved in a year ago
Moved in a month ago, and really enjoyed the new home. The experiences of settling in are excellent! I had a few small snags which were fixed quickly by the after care team. Sandi and Jennifer were brilliant, super helpful at every step of my moving.
Edit after 1 year in: I'm lowering my rating after 1 year's moving in. The drama never ends. I have mixed experiences regarding Berkeley's customer service. Apparently once your money is already in their bag, there's no values to maintain good service anymore.
A high quality home with outstanding customer service
We bought a house off-plan in Highwood Village. Throughout the whole process the Sales and Post Sales team of people made sure our experience was great. They answered all our questions, helped us chose the decor and kept us informed of progress each step along the way giving us ample opportunities to see the house as it was being completed. Even the Build and Construction teams showed pride in their workmanship and made us feel welcome whenever we met. Once we moved in we could see we we right to trust that Berkeley Homes would build and deliver a high quality home in a well thought out development for us to enjoy! Highly Recommended.
Poor quality builds
I purchased a home built by the Berkeley Group at the Acer apartments in 2022. We have had issues from the moment they delivered the building. The main entrance door to the building keeps breaking down during the winter. The intercoms have not worked for the entire building in 4 weeks and they have malfunctioned many times before that. We currently have a huge issue with damp rising from the ground in the basement and all the doors they installed in the basement broke shortly after completion. Multiple pipes are leaking. The elevators have been out of service multiple times. Some neighbours have never had their heating work due to poor quality microbore heating systems that simply get stuck. The list goes on. Very disappointed.
Shoddy work paying high prices for!!
We purchased our property in North Bersted Bognor Regis in 2017 which is quote some time ago. We've had multiple issues of which most we've just sorted ourselves. Missing screws from door handles, sawdust not cleaned out of locks, causing them to jam and break. Sinks leaking, and most recently after moving our integrated dish washer noticed the shoddy work by several trades. If this is what Berkeley Homes call High quality then I'm gob smacked.

If I could submit photos I would as its clear the site manager who would be in charge of signing off the Homes clearly needs to either visit spec savers or do his/her job properly. £320,000 we paid for this property.

First-class customer service and support
The Customer Relations team led by Mark Searson in East London has been a fantastic support to me. I purchased the property from Mark when he worked at the sales department. Many years after he still picks up pieces of memory. The conversations are always honest and customer-centric. He always cares to solve the problem and wherever not applicable, he always let customers know why and what he could do to help. This is heart-warming in a tech-driven world where machine auto-replies take a role. The interactions with Mark and his team have been always positive, responsive, and helpful. Many thanks to Hazel Whiles who takes care of my queries effectively and thanks very much to Ruby Frampton from R&R who responded quickly to supply the building insurance materials. I really appreciate that there is always a human touch in the services provided, not only a ‘job’ to complete. I won’t forget to say thank you to Bill Cumes who managed the property for R&R who offered me empathy and tried his best to help. Thanks a lot to you all.
