Booked a ticket to Japan at Nov 2025. Turned out the ticket was cancelled and they recommend to have another lower tiered airline which we did not prefer. Asked for a refund and it took 2 months and I have to rang them everyday to ask for progress.

They don't have the flight tickets they advertise. Went through the whole booking process to be left with an error screen saying booking was unsuccessful due to a ticket availability issue. I was able to book the same flights for a few dollars more on a different site minutes later, so the fare class was definitely available.
You then receive an email with classic pressure tactic sales and an unsolicited phone call.
I can't figure out why some businesses refuse to conduct themselves in an honest manner.
Misleading Fare Advertising and Repeated Upselling
If you have experienced similar issues with Bestprice Travel company, you may wish to report the matter to Scamwatch, the ACCC, or your state consumer protection agency.
On multiple occasions, the website displayed what appeared to be the best available fare, along with a countdown timer creating a sense of urgency to complete the booking. After completing the booking process, I was informed that the seats were no longer available and that the booking could not be confirmed.
What concerned me most was that shortly afterward, customer service contacted us and offered tickets for the same journey at a significantly higher price. This has happened to me and members of my family several times.
While I understand that genuine availability issues can occur, the repeated pattern of advertising a lower fare, rejecting the booking, and then offering a more expensive option feels misleading and has seriously reduced my trust in this company.
I would not recommend this website based on my experience and would encourage other customers to carefully review all fare conditions before booking.
WORST OF THE WORST. Why are there no negative stars?
Why are there no negative stars? One star is too much. Zero stars is too much. These are literally THE WORST OF THE WORST. I am usually very tolerant to travel agencies misbehaving - I totally understand it is a tough business with not that much space left. However, what these guys are doing is just beyond any scale of incompetence and fraudulence. I had two bookings for the same date and same flight for two persons, booked at two different travel agents. The first one immediately notified about the refund which has been processed within less than a day. bestpricetravel decided to play long game with it and charge exorbitant fees for the booking cancelled by airline. Now, 3 months after the cancellation no refund (they promised 8-10 weeks though), they are dropping the phone, not replying my emails, if replying, telling "maybe tomorrow or next week". STAY AWAY FROM THEM - if you don't want to get to the same situation. The ticket was $2600, so it is not a small amount.
Agent Zara is especially useless.

Jodie helped me to buy tickets and great service though there was a gap of contact with her. But overall experience was good. She did what was supposed to do and ultimately I got air tickets. So now I am awaiting tickets to be appeared on Singapore airlines website to double check as some of the feedbacks are not positive. But however Jodie helped me to buy tickets by going extra mile. Thank you Jodie.
Beware
Beware! They exclude check in bags in headline pricing so they appear cheaper. When in fact they are more expensive. When you add in the $350 for 2 checked bags they are more expensive than others.
DO NOT USE. They take all your info just to say the booking isnt confirmed and you must call them, then add $$ to the price.
As most other reviews say, you book it and then it tells you to call them (Read below). I called and he wanted to add $150 to the price. I told him forget it, then questioned what the website does with my information. His response was so rude and made a remark along the lines of "What do you think will happen", clearly not a company for customer service, but to rip people off and set them up. Requested to speak to a supervisor or manager he said no one is in. I asked for a call back and he said someone will call me tomorrow. Will wait and see if they do.

The website displayed a very attractive price, but after entering all my personal and payment details, the booking was declined and I was asked to contact customer service. When I contacted them, they said the price had already been updated everywhere and was no longer available.
However, I was able to book the same service on other websites for a cheaper price without any issues. If the price has changed, customers should be informed before asking them to enter all their details. This experience was frustrating and misleading.

I booked with them to travel through Dubai to Europe on a Qantas flight. When the war impacted travel, Qantas offered immediate refunds, but customers had to apply through the travel agent that had booked their flight. Best Price gave excuse after excuse (only after multiple emails to them) and responded only after I had threatened to refer the matter to Fair Trading. They had said that my refund “had been processed”, but still took over two months to send my refund. And they charged me $175 for the privilege.

The agency had charged for dietary…
The agency had charged for dietary meals, it was never mention in the flight manifest on Mel to BKK and from transit I emailed which was never responded and my daughter flew hungry.
The meal was still not mentioned on BKK to KTM flight and we couldn't eat anything.
Child not getting meal was heart broken.
I complained to the flight crew on both flights but they were not able to get us the requested meals.
10th April I emailed but have not got the reply.
I am worried if the same will happen during KTM to BKK and BKK to Mel flights.
Extra charge for nothing and they don't mention your requirements to the airline.
Very bad.
If my daughter doesn't get meals during the return flights, I will report this agency to the authorities in .Australia.

It’s been 8+ months and I still haven’t received a refund (tried to contact so many times and they’ve completely ghosted.
For others who’ve been scammed:
Contact your bank and request a chargeback. They should refund you. Make sure the 10 week period is over and that you’ve tried to contact them multiple times, because the bank requests proof of calls and emails.
Every complaint counts. When complaints pile up through chargeback:
That’s when regulators like the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission can step in.
They can:
• investigate misleading conduct
• take enforcement action
• fine or penalise the company

I had a very disappointing experience with Best Price Travel. It has been 5 days since I booked my ticket with Air India, and I still have not received my e-ticket.
Every time I contact customer support, they keep saying “it’s in process,” but there is no proper update or resolution. The response is slow, unprofessional, and feels like they are just delaying without actually helping.
This kind of service is completely unacceptable, especially when travel plans depend on timely ticket confirmation. It creates stress and uncertainty for customers.
I would not recommend this company to anyone. If you value your time and peace of mind, avoid booking through them. Very poor service and zero accountability.

Booking confirmation issue
I recently booked my flight from Melbourne to Adelaide and vice versa through this agency and overall had a good experience. They offer some of the best and most affordable deals compared to other agencies, which I really appreciated. My flight was legitimate and everything went smoothly with no issues during travel.
The only concern I had was the delay in receiving my booking confirmation. It took multiple calls and follow-ups, which caused me some stress and anxiety as I was worried about whether my booking was confirmed. Improving the confirmation process would definitely make the experience better.
Aside from that, I’m satisfied with their affordable prices and smooth service.
