I booked with Best Price Travel in May and was emailed with a booking confirmation. The booking confirmation took a day or two to come through which I thought was unusual.

I was due to fly in September. Around a week before I flew, I went on to the Qantas website to select my seat and meal. The booking confirmation number provided gave a message of "This flight reservation has been cancelled". This caused a lot of stress as I thought I didn't have a flight for the holiday I had planned, one week from departure. I tried to contact Best Price Travel multiple times on the day (Sunday) saying it was urgent. Despite this, they only attempted to contact me later in the week, not first thing when they opened on Monday. By the time they tried to get in touch I had already solved the issue with Qantas directly. After a few calls a helpful Qantas operative let me know that Best Price Travel had cancelled my booking and rebooked me on the same flight a few weeks after I originally made the booking. Best Price Travel didn't contact me to let me know, provide me with a new booking number, or give any reason for this rebooking. I assume they found a cheaper price and rebooked to earn more money, but I don't know. I found this very unprofessional - it caused stress at a busy time as I didn't think I had a flight. I also had to solve the issue without their help.

At the time of booking it was a slightly better deal but not worth it for the stress, I won't be booking with them again.

I tried to book my flight with this company, yesterday. Once I put my credit card details in, the big red sign appeared saying that booking is not confirmed and to contact them on the given phone number. When contacted the girl put me on hold and after long time came back to tell me that she will call me back in 10 min. The day after I'm still waiting for her call. Today I called again asking what is going on, the guy told me that the booking is cancelled. They did not send any emails or contacted me about any of this. I was suspisious about their company and it prompted me to cancell my credit card. Hopefully they won't be able to withdraw any money though it says on this cancelled card that payment is pending. Never experienced that type of internet booking for my flights. Never again will book through this people, rather pay $100 more on different site.

The worst tikect booking website I used. After I entered my card details, it showed the booking is declined and let me call them. After one hour waiting period, they told me my booking cannot be confirmed. Because the price is unavailable. But even now，the price on the website is still the same as I booked before.

absolute scam - when you book a ticket via them the money gets deducted from the account however you never receive any ticket. When i called them to check they said the fare advertised is not available and now it will take 5 working days to do a refund

there are 2 agencies with same name, but this one is Bestpricetravel.com.au with red colour logo. This agency has (.com.au) at the end (nightmare agency).

I will list out my experience with this Trash Agency.

1. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICES - Literally ZERO Knowledge of customer services.
2. Waste my time dealing with them. I lost so much time and at the end, I have to buy higher flights fare.
3. Stress over time while dealing with them. You will suffer, frustrate if you deal with them.
4. They won't sent you any proofs even though they said they have done their job.
5. They won't transfer calls to their seniors/ supervisor/ manager if I request them. Only receptionists (many people) deal with you which your issues wont solve.
6. I encountered 99% staffs FRAUDS just trying to waste your time, keeps on hold for hours, rude responds every time.
Many more.

I won't give single star for this worst agency. Most of the reviews are fake reviews which I can say from what I have experienced.

I booked a flight through Kayak, which redirected me to Best Price Travel. Everything looked normal until I paid in full and never received a proper ticket. Hours later, they sent me a poor-quality image via a third-party app, not an official e-ticket.

They gave me a reference number, and when I checked with the airline, the flight showed as “confirmed” in the app. This was misleading — the airline told me they had never received payment from Best Price Travel and no tickets had been issued in my name.

Attempts to contact the agency were frustrating. They gave excuses and never followed through. It’s clear they are avoiding responsibility.

This company is untrustworthy. Always be careful when booking through unknown agencies, especially if redirected from Kayak or similar sites.

Best Price Travel is a professional scam operation. Avoid them under all circumstances. They operate by redirecting customers from flight comparison websites like Kayak or Skyscanner and making it look legitimate. Do not trust them.

I booked two tickets via Kayak, which redirected me to Best Price Travel. I paid over $2,000 AUD in full. I never received proper e-tickets. The only thing I got was a strange, pixelated, poorly made document sent hours later through a third-party app that isn’t even for ticket issuance — clearly a fake.

They gave me a flight reference number that, when entered in the airline’s app, showed the flight as “confirmed.” This is a trap. That confirmation is not proof of payment or issued tickets — it simply confirms that the flight exists.

When I called the airline directly, they confirmed that no payment had been received from Best Price Travel. No tickets exist in my name or my partner’s name. This is outright fraud.

Every time I called Best Price Travel to clarify, they stalled. They gave excuses: “it’s the weekend,” “it’s holiday season,” “Andy is handling your case,” then “Ruby is now in charge,” promising callbacks that never happened. This is a deliberate attempt to delay and confuse customers while avoiding responsibility.

Best Price Travel is not to be trusted. They will take your money without delivering anything. I am now building a legal case against them, including potentially an international complaint, because this is not just a poor business practice — it is fraud.

They have cost me time, money, and peace of mind. If you value your money and your safety, stay far away from Best Price Travel.

Avoid this company at all costs! Scammers and fraud who takes $ and cancel tickets saying the $$ didn’t come in, even after they have already sent you the confirmation email and $ deducted from account. Unprofessional and rude staff.

I would not recommend Best Price Travel based on my experience. We purchased two return tickets through Cheapflights, which directed us to Best Price Travel. After paying over $7,000, we never received a confirmation email or notification from the agency.

After multiple attempts to contact them via email and phone, they eventually sent us an email titled "E-TICKET Copy" after 7 hours. However, when we checked the booking reference with the airline, we were informed that no tickets had been issued because the agency had not paid the fees.

When we contacted the agency to resolve this issue, they gave repeated excuses to delay our concerns. Examples included stating that the person handling our tickets was on a break or had just finished their shift—even though it was only 10 a.m.! Despite our repeated requests, they refused to provide a proper confirmation or valid tickets.

Ultimately, we requested a refund. It took a considerable amount of time to receive our money back, and we only succeeded after filing a dispute with our bank.

Overall, the service was extremely unprofessional, unreliable, and stressful. I strongly advise potential customers to be cautious when dealing with this agency.

I booked a flight through Best Price Travel. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my flight with Malaysian Airlines. The airline confirmed they refunded the airfare directly to Best Price Travel on 20/05/25.

Despite repeated attempts to contact them, Best Price Travel has not passed this refund on to me. I have written confirmation from Malaysian Airlines showing the refund was issued, but the agency continues to withhold the money.

I want to warn other travellers: if you are considering booking through this agency, please be aware of my experience. Always check whether a travel agent is part of a recognised association (like ATIA or IATA) before booking, as this provides extra protection in cases like this.

Our experience from start to finish was a complete disaster.

After booking, we received a reference number but did not get our e-tickets for over a week. I had to chase them repeatedly through calls and emails just to get a response. Eventually, we were sent tickets, but when I checked directly with the airline a week later, the booking had been cancelled by the agency.

I contacted the airline who confirmed this and told me to reach out to the agency. When I did, they refused to take responsibility, blaming the airline and claiming that a new booking reference would be issued “by the end of the day.” That never happened unless I kept calling them multiple times.

Their customer service is extremely unprofessional. Most of the time, they don’t introduce themselves on the call, you have to ask for names. The only helpful staff member I encountered was Ruby, who finally emailed our tickets. It also feels deceptive that the agency when you Google shows that it's an office in Sdyney, however, it's managed offshore with Indians using Western-sounding names to appear local or trustworthy.

It honestly seems like they’re taking customer money, issuing temporary or fake bookings, and cancelling them quietly later. I can only hope that the latest tickets we received are valid and that I won’t have to go through this mess again.

My advice: NEVER book with this agency. Check reviews thoroughly before making any future travel plans. This has been a frustrating and stressful experience that I would not wish on anyone.

These Guys are Scammers!! Don't be fooled!! There are TWO Travel companies with very similar names.
BestPrice Travel which have a internet rating of 4.9 out of 5 for being Great and then there is Bestpricetravel.com.au and they score 3.5 out of 5 and yet their score of 3.5 is artificially high at 3.5 by writing their own positive feedback. Bestpricetravel.com.au are dishonest and should be avoided at all cost.
