Terrible site, which I actually don’t believe are in Australia at all. They made a mistake with booking, they spelt our surname incorrect. They want us to pay for the change. To and fro with emails we felt powerless. The terms and conditions state $50aud for any changes, and yet they are making us pay $140, and keep saying she has given us a discounted rate it would normally be over $200. Amy keeps writing 140 $ and this is why I believe they are not even an Australian company in Sydney as it states in website. Terrible that we have to pay and way above what is stated in Terms and Conditona of the booking.

I had the worst experience with best price travel and will never book through them. I’d give them zero stars if could. I booked my flights through them and had to cancel due to emergency reasons.
I filed for refund and cancellation. Cancellation was done and I was told that refund will take up to 12-14 weeks.
I filed for refund on 4th November 2024 and the 17 th week is starting since I filed for refund. I call their customer care ; they redirect me to Jenny who I have written emails to and never got a reply back. I wonder what I need to do to get my money back. I am feeling helpless, frustrated and worried.

I dont know if the positive reviews in there are for the BestPriceTravel.com or BestPriceTravel.com.au as they both are from opposite poles in terms of service and most people booking from AU website having the similar bad experiences as I am now having. I booked the ticket, no confirmation or nothing, luckily I still opened my booking page that has the booking confirmation, otherwise I wouldnt be having any information to check with them either to prove that I paid the money to your company for my ticket.

Since they did not ask me any passport details or option to put any frequent flyer or any airlines member number, nothing about seat choices, or luggage information etc before I put my debit card number, I was apprehensive about this company and started checking the reviews only to find that they scammed many people. If there is a longer duration, they book the flights (upon several calls) and cancel in between making us losers in between. Despite of all that many bad reviews, I dont know why Australian govt do not take any action on these people?

Also, be aware that the PNR number given along with your ticket confirmation after paying money is just the old one that is either cancelled or already flown. This means that their software is designed to pick all those that cancelled flight bookings reference or those for the flights that were already flown and allocate to fresh bookings. If scamming is not in their mind, why would they design their software such way?

On a flipside, I also have some suspicions that they book tickets from a different travel agent (sub-contracting) and therefore reliant on them providing the confirmation, which would delay the whole process. This could be why a few customers who waited for that long with no fuss must have left positive reviews.

So if you don't want any hassles, pay a little extra and book straight from airline websites. There is a reason why they charge a little extra. So make your choices people. I have a feeling that I have been scammed for now but fingers crossed.

I booked my parents ticket with this agency Firstly, they took my money but not confirmed tickets.
Before, they booked my mother just showing to me and then cancelled. Then, i contacted them again and again, then they confirmed it again for showing me but i contacted air india and they said it’s voided ticket like cancelled one. I contacted this agency again and they said that it’s on the air india website so you can check it but i contacted again air india team they said again it’s voided. My mother can’t travel on this ticket
Now, i have been scammed this agency.
Don’t book never with this agency.
They just ripping out the money from customers.

Milley went above and beyond to provide me the service I requested. She stayed late to finalise my booking, and has always been an exceptional travel consultant to me everytime I booked my holidays. She is very polite, and sounds funny (but cute) at times which makes the conversation engaging. 5 stars for her service.

I recently booked a return flight from Sydney to Delhi with Best Price Travel. My return flight was scheduled for 5th January, but I requested to change it to 12th January. The travel agent informed me that I needed to pay $150 to make my ticket flexible, which I did. However, after paying, I was quoted an additional $870 to change the flight date from 5th January to 13th January.

Out of frustration, I contacted Air India directly to verify the pricing. To my surprise, Air India made the same change for only $324. They also confirmed that my ticket was never converted to a flexible one - it remained non-flexible.

This experience was extremely disappointing. I was charged $150 under false pretenses, and then quoted $870, which was about $550 more than what Air India charged me directly. It felt like a complete rip-off.

I will never use Best Price Travel again and do not recommend them to anyone. Avoid them if you value transparency and fair pricing.

RUBY was a great consultant to communicate at the first point of contact and she took the ownership straight away and understood my requirements of booking as it was bit complicated stopover. She brought tge best option for me according to ky requirements. She is very enthusiastic in dealing. Amazing work Ruby! Keep it up!!!!!

I used this company to purchase travel tickets. I bought my flight tickets online but did not receive an immediate email as is normal practice. I felt that I had been scammed. After numerous emails back and forth and promises of immediate action, all correspondence stopped after 5 days and I was left $1800 out of pocket without my tickets. Then, out of the blue, I was sent a different booking reference number and itinerary. I then checked with the airline and my tickets were there. It was a very stressful experience for me.

Pathetic Scammers , They charged for ticket on spot but hold your booking with airline. Have called more than 10 times for confirmed ticket always saying it will take 24 to 48 Hrs., it's been 24 Hrs. now still waiting for confirmed ticket .

These people are scammers. I tried to book a ticket on their website, it showed payment declined and provided a number to call. When I called them they said payment declined due to price change!!!!! They offered new price which was way higher than then actual airline price!
These guys use any means to trap you and try to get you to call them and upsell. Their website is also very doggy.

Initial price was good, but after adding all the additional cost and inconvenience I should have gone to a proper agent. They booked me with the wrong name; thus I couldn't board because my passport had a different name. I take responsibility for the error because I don't have record, and I can't remember if I advised the correct name. It's my responsibility to check it also. But when I tried to fix it they promised to call back and never did, call center can't write or speak English, documentation is unprofessional, etc. In the end I fixed it myself, but they still charged me $150 for the change. Initially I refused to pay it but then they threatened to "release" the tickets and I couldn't risk that.

Customer service was great especially Ruby who assisted today for an emergency booking. Highly recommended!!

I had a flight booked this morning at batik air, they didn't let me on the plane coz my passport expires on February. Apparently it needs 6 months on my passport to travel. Yet they still sold me a ticket using the passport information. Also I paid for a direct flight from Brisbane to Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Then at the airport I found out there was a stop in Bali even though I paid for a direct flight. And they didn't give me an eEticket or a link until the last minute. I was searching online for my ticket for days calling and texting and emailing.. once I finally got my ticket the guy is asking for me to write a good review.. well this company is dodgy and they ripped me off $687 expecting everyone to know this rule about the passport.

To the point. Staff willing to go out of their way on a busy work day to assure their customers. Ask for Ruby, she is wonderful at her job :)
