I find Boldin to be intuitive and spot on when it comes to comprehensive retirement planning. With the new AI tool, it is very easy to talk (type) through many ideas without having to create a new scenario. The new investment tool also gives a good snapshot of your investments and I look forward to seeing this took become more robust.

I have relied upon Boldin for my retirement pre-planning along with ongoing analysis now while I'm in retirement. I use it mostly for long term planning and analysis. I like that it does not require a lot of extraneous parameters where if something is set incorrectly, it can generate a bogus outcome. For annual (tax year) analysis and tracking, I use Excel; Boldin does not provide the accuracy needed for near term finances and taxes, and this is acceptable given the data granularity that's input. The Boldin AI is getting better, and did a good job deconstructing a portfolio CSV file into the balances for various accounts I have set up; I was impressed: It worked with me to dissect my Fidelity CMA into multiple Boldin accounts being used and prioritized for various purposes. All in all, I'm pleased. It does what I need it to do.

Boldin is a very thorough product that helped me be confident in my retirement planning. I’m grateful. to have found it and have made use of it.

This financial planning software has been a complete game changer for my wife and I. Even our financial advisor is not able to provide as complete of a picture of our financial situation, and the what-if Scenario feature is fantastic. Add in the new AI functionality and this is the best possible financial planning software out there IMO!

I used spreadsheets for retirement preparation and felt ok with my numbers. After using the free trial of New Retirement I was sold with the depth of information and ease of making changes. I signed up right away and plan on continuing. I only have two subscriptions, MS Office and Bolden. For me it's money well spent.

I have been a Boldin customer for a number of years now, dating back to the NewRetirement days. It has been my go-to financial planning tool all that time and it keeps getting better. The modeling tools let me test a variety of market scenarios leaving me much more confident with my financial status and approach. I recommend Boldin to my friends and colleagues.

Boldin has inability me for the first time to really get a handle on our current finances and future possibilities. I am not a financial expert, but am basically knowledgeable, and Boldin helps me think through and visualize how various decisions will impact my future. I like the feeling of having my finances all in one place for review and seeing how they interact with one another regarding future predictions. The layout and format are easy to follow and understand. I like the fact that I can experiment with different scenarios and most of all I like the information I'm able to receive from AI when I have questions. As a doc in his early 50s just learning about retirement, Boldin has provided an awesome comprehensive means of collating all of your financial concerns into one platform. The AI and Roth conversions tools offer a an early leg up on the competition.

I’ve been using Boldin for about 4-5 years. Pre-retirement, Boldin allowed me to develop a robust retirement analysis. Post-retirement I have been able to plan and execute Roth conversions, plan for tax issues, and play out scenarios for home improvements, travel, and estate / modeling. More recently, using the boldin ask feature (ai chatbot) has allowed me to model more easily tackle complex questions quickly and efficiently.

I’ve shared my plans with financial advisor and CPA for complete picture of my goals and situation making it much easier for them to plan and act accordingly.
I’ve shared my experience with family and friends who likewise have developed they own personal plans using Boldin and they report good experience using Boldin.

All of this has allowed my much greater peace of mind about current status and confidence that I can quickly and confidently assess new opportunities or challenges as they arise.

Boldin is hands down the best retirement planning software I have used. And it's always getting better. Not only can you plan with it, but you can learn too. So, if you are not into "money-stuff:" 1) you should be and 2) Boldin will explain it. Yes there are ever changing state and federal rules, but there are a finite number and the math is basic. Best coin you'll spend this year.

The feature improvements don't address real issues with the platform. ACA subsidies are not considered when determining whether to do Roth conversions which is a massive gap in the program. A retiree could waste 20k or more each year because they could have optimized for ACA subsidies instead of blindly chasing Roth conversions. I have submitted feature requests addressing this issue only to find a new Doc Hub and broad current/future investment style features that don't really add value. Currently, I am using ProjectionLab instead of Boldin for my retirement planning because they address ACA as well as several other needed features.

Easy to use. The new AI functions are great! I asked it to find any funds that have higher than normal fees.

I like using Boldin, it is great for showing "the big picture"...an overall view of how things (finances) are affected by various decisions/plan. Really help visualizing how things could look in the future and helps with current day planning
